This is genuinely one of the worst nail places i have ever been to. I came in for prom nails and asked for a simple almond French tip -- none of the nails were the same size, the french tip itself was extremely low, crooked, and/or uneven. I came in the next day because I seriously could not show up to prom with nails like that and got them soaked off and redone completely, but before we soaked my nails off, the lady who was doing my nails cut at least 6/10 fingers of mine. I was bleeding and it was extremely painful. Then proceeded to put my hands in boiling (literally bubbles boiling at the top) hot acetone. After she finished my nails for the second time (because I got the same lady both times) -- they were SO THICK. I genuinely dont know what to do, I have an awards ceremony tomorrow and prom the next day. This was beyond disappointing. read more

Awful. i went in there and while my sisters got sever immediately they took forever to find someone who can do my "complicated" design. I waited for about thirty minutes and workers were assuming I wouldn't pay extra for a design. The workers could not do simple designs, my sisters nail lady wouldn't even do a French tip. they told me it was going to be a 100 dollars if I wanted the 3d designs, I ended up deciding not to do the 3d designs cause apparently it was beyond their skill level, the service still cost me 100 dollars. read more

I went there because the fb page for Arlington recommended them. I'll never be back. Over priced, rude, and terrible atmosphere. It just looks dirty. I got the pedicure with paraffin and was waiting an extra 20 minutes in the wax because the person doing my pedicure stopped to do someone else's manicure. I watched the gentleman wandering around arguing with patrons over coupons as he proceeded to pace from the front to the back of the salon. I honestly don't understand why people tolerate this level of service or recommend this place. I've been around the world and this nail place has got to be one of the worst I've tried. read more

I wish I could recommend this place. I read all these good reviews so I thought I would also have a good experience. I tried it three times; all three were fails. First, I had a full set acrylics put on. By the end of the first week, two nails were lifting. Let me say, I've worn acrylics off and on for years and never had lifting. After my first fill (different person did them) still lifting after a week. In fact, this time two nails popped off. The third time I had the acrylics taken off and had gel put on. Apparently, my right hand was not properly cured because by day three all nails on that hand were chipping and peeling off. Left hand was fine. So, that was three strikes. I don't plan on going back, and I can't recommend them after my experience. read more

the place was busy when we got there and all the manicure chairs were full so we had to wait about 15 minutes but that's not that bad especially since it was so crowded. I went there with a. friend and she didn't have a similar experience as me. The woman doing her nails was very aggressive and didn't file her nails correctly. She left a big hump in the thumb finger. SO VERY NICE!! EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I went for my third time to get a dip manicure on Tuesday. By Wednesday morning my nails had what looked like fracture lines all in them and the edges were very rough! I went in today (Friday) to see if they would fix them. I was expecting to be treated rudely bc that's how I have been treated at another local nail salon when I had a nail issue. The front desk gentleman looked at my nails under a light and then told me they would redo them ALL!! Went here today and although the lady who did my pedicure was good, the manager or whoever the guy is that runs the place is not a man of honesty. This guy charged my card $400 in addition to the $47 service I received. He claimed he made an mistake but instead of informing me of the mistake when he made it, he let me walk out without saying a word. I have came here 4 times now. I came back each time because my nails have always been done so well. However, most of the employees here are extremely rude. The owner has always been dismissive and unkind. Last night, a nail tech made my mother bleed then was quite snarky when my mother said "ouch!" We will not be returning. Right when I came to do my nails they sat me in different spots two or more times. And when I had a technician finally doing my nails, it didn't seem to be as careful as others have been before, they did not seem delicate as they should have. At the end, my full acrylic set lasted a week and they were already bad looking for all the 50$ spent. And later when I went to remove them because 3 had already fallen out, my fingers were almost dried out of all the time I was left there without being taken care off. I mean, it takes more than offering a drink to have a good quality customer service. Cost/benefit is not worth it, service is lacking quite a bit and product quality is bad. I've given this place about 5-10 tries throughout the past 3 years. Time before last I waited in a pedicure chair for over an hour before walking out. I was never even acknowledged once sat or apologized to for the wait. Never offered a drink. This recent time, a boy was allowed to run free screaming at customers and nothing was done about it. Yes he was an employees child. This went on the full 45 min of my pedicure. My manicurist also pulled my leg up straight with my skort on, not understanding I'm pregnant and this position was uncomfortable for me. My water was allowed to overflow and caused her to very early on drain the water and make me use leftover water at the bottom to rinse. This was the most unpleasant, uncomfortable pedicure I've ever had. I have a video but it won't let me upload. Basically -- just trust me. I'm so unimpressed and unhappy. read more

For the past year, I've always received good service even at their old location. Unfortunately, this past visit will be my last. I brought my boyfriend in with me for a quick weekday pedicure and we were immediately seated. When the owner started running the water for us, my boyfriend and I both let him know that we would like the water hotter. He adjusted the temperature on my water but not his. When we asked him to address it, he just casually waived us off and told us to wait until the technician came. This is terrible customer service especially to a loyal customer. Fortunately, one of the technicians over heard and addressed the situation adjusting the temperature but I strongly believe in leading by example. If the owner acts this way then how can I expect more from his staff? read more

I've been going to Liberty Nails for about four months now and Not one time have I broken a nail. In fact my nails have been the longest they ever have been and Natural. Me and my daughter went there to both get manicures and pedicures. They did a horrible job on both. My daughter said her pedicure was ok, but not mine. Just want to start of by saying I came in for a pedicure and dip polish change. The wait wasn't terribly long which was fine and while I waited I got a beverage. The cup that I was given had been previously used (lipstick stain around rim and previous drink stains in cup) and after mentioning something to the nail tech she poured the wine in the pedicure bowl and proceeded to finish my pedicure. My pedicure was not done properly for I have had several pedicures in the past and there are steps to the process which were not done for my service. She began using lotion on my legs but had not even scrubbed my feet or legs with the sugar scrub. After mentioning this to her she put the sugar scrub on top of the lotion and scrubbed my legs which was very dry. My feet remained out of water most of my service and were dry when the pumice bar was used; this hurt and damaged the heel of my feet. This is not my first time at this salon and I am very disappointed with this visit. read more

I went here a good while ago and we had quick service and a very polite woman did my mani pedi. I had not exfoliated my feet yet and they had a good bit of dry skin. The woman gave me some tips of how to use some lotion to prevent this and I did not think she would go out of her way to do this, so I was very pleased with that. My mani pedi was clean and seemed very well done. She was talking in another language besides English ( that i did not understand)to another woman beside her. I went to this place a few years ago and thought they did a good job but were very over priced so I stopped going. I recently went back because I needed to get in quickly and I knew I wouldn't have to wait long there. That is about the only thing good about this place. I don't remember my techs name but she was not friendly at all. When I picked out the color I wanted I said "oh that looks pretty!" And then she laughed and said "I guess" then she started doing my dip manicure and I thought they looked great until she put a regular clear coat on top. Everywhere I have ever been they always do a gel coat which dries immediately. After sitting for 5 minutes drying my nails she said I was done and began to put the cuticle oil on and wipe them with a wet rag. They were not dry. She messed up 4 of my nails and only fixed two of them and then left me to go do another TECHS nails. I sat there for 15 minutes drying and she never came back to me. $55 for a crappy manicure and rude tech. I'd rather wait an hour for good service than to go here again. read more

I have been going to another nail salon for years. I went in for a tip repair since I was in a rush to get home. Yes, I live in Arlington. (I tried this place once before when I first moved here, and the result of my fill in was horrible.) I was so disappointed this time as well. I am used to smiling, happy people who work in a very clean environment. This was anything but that. This is the most horrible experience I have ever had at a nail salon. Management is rude & unprofessional. I was rudely asked to sit down. I understand that when they are busy there will be a wait, but they weren't kind enough to tell me that someone will take care of me soon. The lady that did my nails had an attitude the entire time. I had uneven nails coming into the salon, hoping she would even them all out before the shellac. The lady had the nerve to barely file my nails and proceed to start the shellac process with uneven nails. I asked her to even them out & she did (with an annoyed look on her face). I have gotten shellac many times before and I know a primer needs to be used to dehydrate the nails before the base coat. She did not use a primer and she was rushing the entire time. There was Shellac on my cuticles and my nails were still uneven. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more
