Technically I'm not supposed to be telling you guys about this place. It's not supposed to get so popular; that could (possibly) leave her unable to get last minute appointments, you see. This is her secret spot, it's nearby, it's good stuff and its never busy. You see, recently I was brought here for a spa pedicure by my cousin. It was a gift treatment since we had time to kill and she thought it would be fun if I and her hubby went and got one. It was his first pedicure ever. Aw, shucks. A husband and wife team do all the services and own this sweet nail shop. There were a couple ladies ahead of us but we were able to get seated and receive free chair massages while waiting. That was a first for me. Man, ladies have it nice. The spa chair has a built in massaging system which is managed by remote. Not a cheap system either. I was able to get a couple back massages while waiting. The spa portion of it was a little exciting as well. I can't say it's too often that I put my feet in a colorful foot bath with neon glow, bath salts and pressured jets rolling warm waters over my feet and legs. The couple took their time working meticulously. Pampering and priming feet and toes for paint, pleasure and prettiness. Not our toes though.. the ladies toes. It was good for us too, but.. you know, no paint. The owners are South East Asian and while their was an accent in their voices of Vietnamese (maybe) they also carried a Southern twang in their speaking. Its wild to me how; many immigrants that live in the south will gain that quickly. I only mention their background because I've been in other nail spas where either the nail techs spoke little to no English or hardly paid attention to conversations around them. Which can usually makes the client feel off put. The couple however were very polite, they were concentrated mostly on their work but if there were conversations in the background you might see them smile or join in when needed. The spa pedicure was nice. I thanked my cousin for the treat. I don't know how ladies can keep a straight face when they are scrubbing your heels and all over. We couldn't help but crack a smile or laugh. The couple was good about it, I think they could tell we were newbies. During the treatment the Mrs got us to add a service. Sugar scrubs, she promised we would like it. It would make our skin smooth. LoL. Fun experience, nice atmosphere and not pricey. read more

The place looks nice but this salon is not relaxing at all. The workers are extremely unprofessional and RUDE towards the girls who work for them! I came in for a regular pedicure and I almost wanted to leave after seeing the way they were treating the young lady working for them. They are aggressive and not polite. I don't think we should give any money to any business that treats anyone who works there like that. It was my first visit there. As I entered the Spa, the waiting area was busy and there was a man (the owner I'm assuming) at the front yelling at everyone and directing the workers where to go, what to do etc. The young lady (pretty blonde) behind the counter was visibly shaken by his aggressiveness and so were all the workers and clients. Honestly, I've never entered a business where it was so chaotic. He was moving from where the clients were to behind the desk pointing, raising his voice to everyone in sight. It was so aggressive that I stood by the door for a few minutes observing this and decided this is not my new nail salon. This is not where I want to go for rest and relaxation. He was cruel to his staff and not very nice to the people that were waiting to get manicures and pedicures. I would not recommend this nail salon and someone really needs to speak to him about Customer Service and how he treats his employees because it was dismal and disappointing! read more

Kinda disappointed in viva these last three times I've been :( I got dip each time, one time she overfiled them in some spots making the color uneven and it was really noticeable. The next time, it's like he didn't file enough and they were thick and bumpy. Also- each time I have been, every person I've had puts a drill on my natural nail, it burns while they're doing it, and they end up so thin when I remove the dip! Just disappointed because I've been coming here for years. Nellie did a great job when I had her but she still filled my natural nail too much. I hate feeling picky but when you're spending $60+ each time you go, they need to be quality. I think I will look for somewhere else to go, which is sad because I've been going here for years! I had a gel French manicure done and only 2 days later it chipped and peeled! I went back to have them fixed and it peeled again. These ladies are so nice, but they filed my nails so thin, they can't even hold a gel manicure! I nicely asked her not to file them thinner and she ignored me And did it anyway. i have used Viva La Nails before several times about a year ago. I decided go back to them for a mani/pedi on 8/1/2025. I'm so disappointed! My nails have sharp edges around my cuticles and the polish is not on the sides on my nails, they're is bare nail!! My pedicure was good but the shape on my toenails are round on some and square on others. The people are pleasant but the finished job is terrible. Sorry, Viva, I won't be coming back. that's a lot of money to spend to have such a bad outcome. read more

I love Blooming Nails been twice. Had my nails done by the gentleman and the lady. Both did amazing. I got my nails done on 03-23-2023 and today 04-08-2023 they still look new just some grow out from my nails. I wish I could give 100 stars! I'm new to the area, was referred to them. While the place was empty when I got there at 12:40pm, I wasn't overly impressed. The water didn't stay warm, they didn't do an over the top job. I asked for a basic pedicure with Gel polish. The guy that did it for me couldn't even remember something simple like that. He started putting regular polish on and I had to step in and say something. Then when he was finally doing my nails right, he didn't turn the blue light on until I said something. I recently moved to Arlington and was looking for a nail salon and this was the first one I tried. I was easily able to book my dip appointment online. When I got there I was immediately helped and shown where the dip colors were and guided to my seat. The atmosphere was friendly and asthetically pleasing. This is the second time I have visited Viva La Nails. The first time every thing was great! Today I brought my pre-teen daughter. Everyone was polite, but it was clear they were in a rush. CUSTOMER FOR MONTHS NOW I AM NOT RETURNING AFTER THIS: I have been going to this nail salon for months. I have never had a bad experience until my last visit. I typically just do walk-in so normally I get a different person every time. So the person doing my nails this time was someone I've never had before. They started off very kind, asking me a bunch of questions, very kind. Then they being to get almost hostile with me. Getting mad at me for having double jointed arms and PHYSICALLY BENDING MY WRIST SIDEWAYS and saying I need to control that. They would get mad at me for not knowing what they were going to do next. Making over exaggerated gasps. Then getting mad at me for watching them do my nails saying "why don't you watch the tv"......The tv wasn't even on. I guess that could be their personal preference but the fact that they would get mad at me for not paying attention/knowing what's going on, then get annoyed that I was paying attention just seemed odd. I live in Nashville but was in town visiting family and needed a mani and pedi. I took my five year old niece with me and she also got a regular mani pedi, with nail art on her thumbs. I was shocked when we checked out and they told me it would be $40 for her! Spa House in Bartlett charges $5 for kids. My gel manicure was a hot mess. She did the gel all the way to the edges and it started lifting within three days. A week later and it's chipping. So this is my first ever Google review. I have never given a bad review ever in my life but this really takes the cake. This is actually my second bad experience at Viva La nails. The first one was the weekend before mothers day and as a mom I wanted to take time for myself. This was my first visit to this salon and I had a appointment yet ended up waiting for 30 minutes at the door then they soaked my nails off at the door then I was finally seated. It was a crap experience but I liked my nails and wanted to give this salon another try today. So I first made a appointment online. My appointment was never confirmed so I called and confirmed my appointment for 12:00 pm ( my lunch break). I ended up waiting at the door for just about 20 minutes then once seated another 10. Then they attempted to soak my nails . I declined as asked for them to drill off old polish instead as I am in a rush now because they did not start on time as scheduled and I am on my lunch break. While the receptionist was drilling off my old polish she then tells me that if I want a full set the wait will be much longer and go on past my lunch hour. At this point I have just simply had enough and I then asked ( in a nice way) "What is the point of an appointment if you aren't going to make sure there will be a nail tech available at the time of the appointment?" in which all they said was "Sorry we were busy this morning". So I simply asked the receptionist to stop drilling my polish off and I walked out. They may be great a nails but the customer service and care for clients time is the worst. I've been to this Nail Salon on many different occasions but last nights experience has turned me into a die hard regular. I got a Sugar scrub pedicure ($35). I had not treated myself to a pedicure in well over a couple years so right now it feels as though my legs and feet belong on someone else. I would have never expected such amazing results after just one visit. Their nail design is incredibly inexpensive as well. (2 nails for $5) and I was actually shocked when I asked if they had any designs to choose from and was told just to pick something I liked from Google, Pinterest, etc. because she would be able to recreate it (and very similar to the original as well) For those of you 21+ spoil yourself to a glass of wine or two as well :) The staff are very pleasant and don't hound you trying to upsale services.
