The ladies here are so great and the only ones in town I trusted to do a tan for the most photographed day of my life, i.e. my wedding day. The process is pretty simple and doesn't take long; everyone here is a total pro so there's no discomfort even though you're standing practically naked in front of a stranger. I'd say the first day was a bit more than that I would have liked but my wedding tan wasn't my first so I knew that going in. I was sprayed on a Wednesday and got married on a Saturday and had the bridal glow I was looking for. The tan slowly faded throughout my honeymoon. They have package deals that are really great and there's also partial body tan options. Love love love! read more

I went here for the first time last night. I have no idea what took me so long! They are all sweethearts and put you at such ease. That goes for the entire staff. I really do love this place. They offer so many services and are so friendly. As a recipient from services during a Yelp event, I can review a couple things. Spray tan: I wanted to love this. Mine was streaky and orange on my legs by day 2. Perhaps this is because I'm not a spray tan pro and I didn't exfoliate and moisturizer enough prior to asking her to bronze my blinding white skin. But during the spray tan experience, they're so professional and don't make it awkward at all. I got a lot of compliments on my upper body and face from coworkers after my tan. Waxing: I have uber sensitive skin and my first lip wax resulted in some tiny pimples and dry skin for a couple days. Mostly covered by moisturizer and concealer. But after those went away I'm so pleased with the wax! It is nice to not have a lady stache. I'm guessing that it won't flare up like that with more frequent waxes. I'll certainly be back for that. read more

Esthetiques is a great spa for a day of pampering. I had purchased a LivingSocial deal for a salt scrub. My plan was to have the scrub and then get a spray tan, which they suggest doing so your tan will stay longer. I called to make an appointment and the salt scrub machine was broken. The girl who helped me on the phone was quick to tell me I could swap my deal for the eyelash extensions if I was interested, which would only cost me a few more dollars. So I thought, what the heck, and tried the extensions. Brittany did my extensions. She was great to talk to and did a fabulous job. I think it's typically $100 for a set, which should last you around two weeks, and around $65 for a fill-in. Mine didn't last quite as long as I had hoped, but I got the extra long lashes, which makes them more susceptible to falling out. If you're needing a little pick-me-up, this is definitely worth trying. I came back a few days later for a spray tan, which turned out fabulous, too. Lasted me about a week and a half and was a natural color. read more

Don't get your eyelash extensions done here. I knew nothing about them so I went out on a whim and got the hybrid extensions. They fall out so fast, I honestly think it's just to get you to come back for a fill faster than you should. They also didn't look very good, it was like another reviewer said; they glued the lashes to my skin. I had to pull some lashes out myself because they kept stabbing me in the eye due to bad placement. read more

I have gotten their airbrush tan done twice recently (for weddings) and will probably do it twice more this summer (for lake trips). I've done the Mystic Tan in the booth at a regular tanning salon before and I really should not be allowed in there. I come out of it looking like I've been playing in the dirt. The girls are very nice and make you feel comfortable, and the prices seem reasonable to me. $30 for a session (that's for your whole self, you can also get just your torso or just your face for the winter I guess for cheaper), and then there are deals when you add more sessions: for example, I bought two sessions for $50, saving $10. Does it look absolutely perfect? No, probably not. There are going to be some faint lines here and there but they shouldn't be noticeable to other people, except maybe the judgiest of judgies. And compared to Mystic Tan and tanning beds, I feel like it's the best option. I will say I felt really stupid running errands immediately afterward because you can't shower for like 8 hours so the color is really exaggerated by the bronzer until you do. read more

I had the fortune of attending a Yelp event here and had a great experience. Aside from the Yelp perks, the location is centrally located in E. Memphis across from Hog & Hominy. There is ample parking in front as well as nearby businesses, after 5pm. When you walk in, you are warmly greeted by a serene spa surrounding and an opportunity to purchase clothing. I first visited the spa for the Yelp party where we received eyebrow waxing and spray tans. I was very pleased with the waxing but the spray tan was a bit uneven and faded unevenly as well. While at the party I won a gel manicure. My mother and I went for a mother-daughter day and I redeem my manicure while she got a pedicure. Cynthia Walker was our nail tech. We got there a little early but she was backed up a little and while our appointment was at 2 it was closer to 3 before we actually got started.. She was very friendly though and apologized. I had never gotten a gel manicure so she told me a few things I needed to know. It was a very relaxing experience overall. Although later I noticed the polish on one of my nails has sort of popped up off of the nail and there is now a bubble. Other than that it looks great! She was even able to fix one of my nails that split the night before!! read more

this is by far my fave spa in town, if you are looking for more of a boutique spa you should check them out. the staff is extremely friendly and their spray tans are the best! i hear they do really great brazilian waxing but have not worked up the courage yet, i will post when i do. they have a very extensive list of facial services but i am more of a european facial kind of girl myself so i get their "call a cab" facial once a month and always wish i had a driver after because i am sooo loopy! read more

After many months of letting my hair fade after an impulsive decision of dying my hair black I was hesitant to trust someone to help me go back to my natural hair color of blonde. Lexus has been doing my lashes for the last couple of months. She is very nice and great to talk to. She is also extremely quick - I can be out of there in less than 45 minutes for a lash extension fill. I had some trouble with the lashes the first two times I visited the salon and Lexus was happy to work with me to find a solution (ended up with a stronger adhesive) The only downside to Esthetiques is that they only offer mink lashes, not NovaLash extensions. I would like to see them add this line of products in the future. The salon is very clean, has ample parking and the staff is very friendly. read more

Now this review is strictly for the eyelash extension services as that is all I have used here to date. Having long luxurious eyelashes to bat at the opposite sex may not only put you in the running for an extra in the latest Rom-com...but it definitely results in people (especially of the male persuasion) being so much nicer, friendlier and interested. Eyelash extensions when done correctly (as opposed to the horrible fake looking strip jobs they do at the mall and who look like a caterpillar crawled on your eyelid to die) are the most subtle and powereful beauty enhancements. Men especially know you look prettier but are not quite sure what is different, but they like it. I had a wonderful experiences the few times I have used their services. I saw Brittney who was great and asked me what look I was going for (enhancement of natural lashes or for the va-va-voom). She was quick, professional, and my lashes looked fabulous (and incredibly natural) for weeks after. Yes...this is a somewhat expensive habit. BUT the service and results are well worth this. I was looking for an alternative to the typical mystic spray tan and heard great things about Esthetiqes airbrush tan. It really was a great experience. I called to make an appointment and no one answered, but within 3 minutes they called me back even though I did not leave a message. I've had three airbrush tans here. The staff was comforting and never made you feel awkward. My first two tans came out great! I went back for my third... Came out way to dark and orange. I called and asked what went wrong and they said sometimes at the end of the week/day it's mostly bronzer. I still recommend it, just make sure you go earlier in the week! I never had a spray tan before and was super terrified at the idea of walking out of a spa glowing neon orange! I never thought I'd get one till a Yelp Elite event happened here and I decided to check it out. The spa itself is awesome. Super clean! And the ladies that work there are so friendly and helpful. I asked for a light spray tan because I wasn't sure how dark it was going to get. The lovely lady that sprayed me explained everything so clearly and made me feel so comfortable. I had zero concerns about the tan because of her. If you really like to get a noticeable tan, you might not want to get the light option. My tan faded after a couple days. But I'm sure if I had gone with a darker shade, it would have held up longer. They also do eyebrow and stash waxes here. I didn't personally try those, but the other yelpers that were there seemed very happy with theirs. I'd definitely come back here if I ever decide to get another spray tan or need a wax, and I would also recommend this spa to a friend! read more

I visited Esthetiques Skin Spa for the first time last summer, and initially had no complaints with the service or product. Having never had a spray tan before, the technician walked me through the process, the "up-keep", etc. I did about 2-3 spray tans and decided that it was maybe worth using a package. I purchased a 6 time spray tan package from Esthetiques toward the end of last summer and due to circumstances, was not able to utilize it before it got chilly. I was never informed that the package would expire and never contacted as the expiration date approached. I called back this week to schedule an appointment to use my package since it is now warming up and getting back into short/dress season. I was informed this week that my package had expired in January. I again- was never made aware that the package had an expiration, nor contacted - and I was never given anything in writing when I purchased the package indicating the same. I am now out $150 and at first was told there was nothing they could do for me. I have a friend that posted a comment on Facebook as I normally do not like to make public comments on companies or services. I received a call back from Esthetiques today. They offered me the 6pk spray tan if I was willing to pay for half of it, an additional $75... So out $150, and they want me to pay for half of another package. I do not understand how this is good customer service and an attempt to correctly handle this situation. I realize that this may not be a substantial amount of money and I'm only one out of many many customers; however, having worked in customer service for 12 years, I know there are better ways to handle this. I will never go back to this establishment again- there are so many better options with better customer service. read more

Alright so it's been a few days since my spray... It doesn't fade evenly. It also was rubbed off by my sports bra while exercising. And it's fades when sprayed with ethanol (strange comment, I know. But my at home sunless tanners hold up to the tests of lab work). So, as far as color and quality, it's about the same as a mystic tan. Not bad eye lash extensions but definitely not the best. Nice staff no complaints there but coming from Dallas I expect a better quality of eyelash extensions. I can see the black glue on the eyelashes and my skin, the eyelashes are not natural looking for example when I move the eyelashes they should move free flowing (individually) like your natural eyelashes however the lashes are stuck together and applied as though it's a strip was placed on. Typically a full set takes about 45min-hour and she applied these in like 20 mins. I would prefer the work to have been more detailed and to take her time. In a spa setting its ok to ask a few get to know you questions but not conversant the entire time which takes away from the spa relaxation experience. Probably won't return. But the staff was extremely nice! read more

I recently had my first spray tan here, third spray tan ever. The employees were very nice and professional, the place was clean, and I really enjoyed the experience. The lady who did my spray tan was great, very professional and nice. I had never had a spray tan from a person instead of an automated booth, and she made it quick and easy. The color was a little darker than my tragically white self had bargained for, but it looks pretty good! I booked and paid $150 about a week in advance of the appointment. I was called during the week to move my appointment from 3 to 1:45, no problem. The day of the appointment I was called and asked if I could come in earlier. I was in the area, so again, no problem. The lady that did my lashes acted like I was bothering her and interrupting her day. Mind you, I should of picked up on the fact that they offer a lot of services but we're completely empty at 1:00 on a Saturday. The lashes don't look good at all. I had lashes glued to my skin and 30 minutes after leaving they were already starting to fall out. The lady was not friendly at all which doesn't bother me but when she was done she just said "ok". Didn't offer me a mirror, ask what I thought , offer aftercare instructions, or anything just said ok and started cleaning up the room like she was ready to go and needed me to leave. I literally had to ask how to get back to the front because it was my first time there and she didn't bother to show me out or say anything other than ok when she was finished. Overall lackluster experience and horrible eyelash work. I'm getting them removed tomorrow because there are so many gaps one day after getting them done which is ridiculous and has never happened to me before . I came in with full natural lashes and what I left with is laughable. I came based on the reviews of others and if this is considered good service you ladies definitely should try other lash artist to compare because there are FAR BETTER lash artist and experiences out there. I'm not upset because I know trying someone new always has the chance of not being a good experience. Just wanted to share what happened to me and hopefully helps someone else not waste money on horrible lashes and lackluster service. read more

This place was amazinggggg! I've been wanting eyelash extensions for a while, but just didn't want to pay the $265 that other places charge. This place was soooooooo much more reasonable, with a full set only $100!! I jumped on that right away. The girl that did them was extremely nice and fun to talk to, AND she did a wonderful job. I will definitely be back for my regular fill-ins which are $65. It also looked like a pretty popular place for a spray tan. I may have to check that out in the near future. read more

Esthetiques is always introducing the newest facials available and I just tried the NEW Filler Facial for the first time and I am in LOVE with it! I have had amazing results from just my first one and have already had a friend ask "what I am doing to my skin!" This facial is AMAZING for anyone that feels like their skin needs a boost! This place is wonderful. I went to get sprayed on Wednesday before my brother's wedding on Saturday evening. I was worried it wouldn't stay on so far in advance. I was wrong ,it stayed on great. I also did the exfoliation treatment prior to being airbrushed. It was an experience to remember. I got in what looked like a time capsule, then I was scrubbed down again and laid back in the steaming capsule. My skin was so soft that the water was beading all over it. Next, I was spray tanned by Nikki, who also did my exfoliation treatment. She was so friendly and made me feel completely comfortable. This place was recommended to me by the Salon I was getting my hair styled at for the wedding and they definitely steered me in the right direction. Nikki also suggested some local Memphis spots we had to try out.. I highly recommend visiting this salon to get pampered and/or/both spray tanning too. It's been A week and my tan has barely faded. I made an appt with Esthetiques after seeing the amazing reviews on Yelp and was really excited to try a spray tan for a wedding I'm in this weekend! However, my overall experience was very unsatisfactory. The lady who greeted me at the front desk was very kind, but that's the silver lining of my visit. The lady who performed my spray tan did not ask me any preferences, didn't explain the process at all, and was kind of short and rude when talking to me during the tan. I get it, it's late on a Friday and you're ready to go home, but if that's the case just let me know up front and I'll reschedule. I wasn't given any way to fan/dry off after the tan and most areas had horrible splotches bc of this. I did my best to even out the problem areas so it wouldn't show up in pictures but had to completely wash off my face because it was way too dark and uneven. Sadly, I won't be back to Esthetiques. read more
