total discrimination of males, shouldn't happen in 2022 not to mention no one ever answers the phone. type of people that smile in your face and then say **** you behind your back, I've lived and worked in many different environments globally. The fact they have such a huge issue w males who btw do tan more than most think and I've been a member since 2020. They can never keep employee, depending on the day you may get treated with respect other days they will just ignore you and be on their phones right in front of you. I paid over $80 for a subscription of spray tan. Had to pay $6.50 extra to get dark and not nothing has changed. I have tanned multiple times and have always got dark and this is poor service read more

I recently moved to Memphis and went here today to get a spray tan package for me and my mom. Keagan was so helpful and sweet! She knew the answers to all of our questions and gave us great advice on the colors to choose. My mom is ill and has dementia and she never got frustrated but instead laughed with us and was so sweet. I am so impressed and I won't go to another location! read more

They wanted $100+ dollars for 2 tans! Are you kidding me? Then when I said I wanted something cheaper they said they could do a 20 minutes bed but would only let me in for 5 minutes. What a joke. I can get 3 spray tans at a medi-spa where it's personalized and 1:1 for less than that! read more

Wow! I just tried to officially cancel my membership that I had no idea was still active. I have had it frozen since 2013. The girl tells me I have ~$240 "tanning dollars" but I owe ~$74 dollars. They can't cancel my account with a balance. I can buy product or spray tans with the tanning dollars, but I can't use them towards the balance. Maybe I should go back and "buy" $240 worth of crap to use up my tanning dollars and then make sure VISA knows to deny any charges since I am going to report it as fraud. Crazy. Beware of their sneaky practices before signing anything. read more

I usually have the best words for this place. The employee in charge today, Tori, was the most condescending person. She talked down to the guests as if they meant nothing. I shouldn't have to hear an employee cursing whether it is towards me or not. I was seriously disgusted by her behavior. I spend over $100 a month on my tanning package and am withdrawing my membership today. read more

After buying a 350.00 tanning package with Palm Beach I was told I could take in any level and have unlimited mystic visits. I had not previously been tanning so I was as pale as Casper the ghost. The first time I tanned I expected to burn because it had been so long but to my Suprise I didn't. Since I had the unlimited Mystic they suggested that I can't tell which is tanning then doing the Mystic Tan. Unbeknownst to me you have to pay extra to get color put in the Mystic Tan. Do you want to talk so basically I have a free unlimited version of so many that I still have to pay the additional for if I want any color. So it's now been two months since I've had my package and I can almost every single day and every level of bed that they have. I'm still so pale. I cannot wear shorts outside I bought the lotion done everything I said and so I started marking myself with me and days to see if I was getting any color. Turns out they don't change the bulbs as they should. I called corporate who said that they needed to be changed and she would expedite it but two weeks later no change. And still going every day and no tan lines from the Band-Aids. When I walked in today the cooperate manager who I was talking to is here. I went ahead and tanned but for or if the bed early because I was cold. I'm a TANNING BED!!! I asked to speak to the Corp manager who is to busy teaching a class on selling lotion than to talk to a customer. That's why I'm sitting here waiting this now. I love the staff here but that's the only plus that I have. They selling techniques are to aggressive for a tanning bed and it seems like I keep being told that I'm not being call because I need to BUY more things. Until they change the bulbs I would not recommend any of the locations because it seems like I'm not the only person with this issue. When I went to the Germantown store with this complaint they put me and what they call their best bed. The funniest part was that the bed was missing three light bulbs and it was their best. read more

They charged me 67 dollars for a spray tan. they never told me that a lot of the stuff is extra. she made it sound like it was included with the spray tan. she never gave me the option to buy the special things that you can add on she just told me "this is the primer you put this on before the tan" she didn't say "if you want to add the primer you can for ___ dollars" little did i know that i had been tricked into paying 67 dollars when i was wanting a cheap spray tan. read more

Would not go back. I love all other palm beach tans. This one I was pushed aside and others were taken care of before me :( I understand that it may have been a bad employee so i am giving it a 3 star. Still not my favorite tanning place but I hope they get better people in there. read more

Worst customer service ever at the Poplar/ Perkins location. Plain rude. Go to the midtown location if possible.. It's way better. A couple of visits ago I was so mad at my experience that I was forced to cancel my membership, then I go in today to find that nothing has changed. 5/6 employees sitting around up front and not one had the decency to even acknowledge me. BRING BACK TAN N GO!! Palm Beach is a lot more focused on getting you to spend a fortune than Tan N Go was. Any time I go tan I'm in there for an entire hour because they don't give up on trying to get you to spend more money. And DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE TWO WEEK FREE DEAL!! This is the worst Tanning studio I've ever been to. I bought a spray tan package with them and found the first spray tan didn't even show up (I got the darkest level, level 3 bronze) despite having waited over 10 hours to shower. When I was already on my way out for my weekend trip (looking pale, unfortunately) I called and asked for a refund and they refused. Since I couldn't get a refund, I decided I might as well try back for the other 2 I had purchased and had equally bad experiences - one didn't show up again, and the other showed up a bit but started cracking the second day, leaving me looking like I had a skin disease. When I called the next day the woman I spoke with tried blaming me for using the wrong products. I have been getting spray tans for over 10 years now and know what products to use and not use... the customer service here is absolutely horrendous. If you live in Memphis I recommend going to harbor town fitness on mud island instead for a spray tan - they have a person do it for you, it looks good and is cheaper and the customer service is 1,000x better! read more
