Like these are one way aisles pretty much unless you are a California size -1. I'm old fat and cranky so parking is the biggest concern of mine and I actually googled which is the Erewhon with the least hassle free parking and this one came up and it's true. There is 90 minute free parking and it's not exactly simple. You have to get a ticket and then you may be double parking someone inside and you have to give some people your keys so if they have to move your car you can't they can. They held onto my keys but did not move my car so I didn't tip them. I wasn't expecting to tip when I went to a grocery store. There's more than one business in the plaza so I think they're employed by them so just be prepared with that and have cash on hand. I did not get the Hailey Bieber smoothie although I was tempted. I've heard mixed reviews and I know it's very expensive and I did not want to spend that kind of money on a smoothie. I didn't like. I did end up getting a bottled peanut butter smoothie and that one cost $14 and it was really delicious. It tasted healthy, but it was really good. I also got some vanilla chai crisps that are in the back corner by the freezer section and those are delicious as well. Those were $6.99 for a bag and honestly, I thought that was reasonable. I did get a strawberry cream dessert. It's all natural and I think vegan or something or other. I don't know. It was really good, from the few bites I had I was going to save it and it melted in my car so hopefully it will taste good tomorrow even if it's not in the shape originally was. I also got some Keylime and Meyer lemon tarts. I tried the lemon one they should be refrigerated which I did not know until I tried to eat them. The lemon one was good. I have not tried the lime one yet. I ended up spending $44 on five items. I just went there to say I've gone there. Would I go there regularly if there was one available to me probably not but I would go occasionally. It just seems now that it's a lot of content creators or people who want to see content creators, or people we're just going there is a tourist. What makes this store special is the selection -- you can find so many unique products that you won't see in other grocery chains, including a lot of European-style foods. Some of our favorites are eggplant spread, sauerkraut, frozen sweet cheese pancakes (blinchiki), pork dumplings, and many other great items. Studio City is a very random place. This Vons is a perfect example. In such a nice city, how are there so many ghetto places like this? You would literally have a better shopping experience in any grocery store in Van Nuys, Panorama City, Reseda, etc. This isn't intended to be classist. The opposite, really. Studio City is supposed to be a "nice" place. Unfortunately, it's full of stores like this Vons. Nothing nice about it. read more

Anything in the produce department is going to be a better deal. They have plenty of fresh fruits and veggies at killer deals. The meat department is also a win. Carne asada is $10.99 a pound. Thin chicken breast was $3.99. Plenty of marinated meats, beef, poultry, taco meat, seafood, etc. The hot section was where I was disappointed. Everything was pricey. A tub of Rice was $8.99. A pound of taco meat $15.99. Anything hot is purchased at the counter. They also had tamales, whole roasted chicken, etc. Give or take, if you know how to shop this is a great market.

This review is particularly, for the 7-Eleven that I frequently visit when I need something quick and fast.(At the corner of (Moorpark & Tujunga) All 7-Elevens are great, but this particular store somehow is different in so many different ways. First, it is 5 minutes away from my house, great service anytime that you go there. ALL the employees that work there are very nice, helpful and friendly. They have everything from alcohol, to food/beverages of every kind to different types of products, to household items. Always comes handy! I have tried their wings, hot dogs, & pizza for a quick bite, it's eatable but not that enjoyable. Pizza is too greasy, and super salty. The rest are good.Everything is so fully stocked, and the store is very clean. They move so fast not to have a long line. Right away they open the 2nd register to help their customers. Plenty of parking spaces shared with few other businesses. I hope this 7-Eleven will remain open for a long, long time. Meaning NOT to go out of BUSINESS!! THANK YOU staff at 7-Eleven!:-)

Big parking lot, you can access it from either street, whatever works best for you. Since a couple of days my husband saw on the News that it was National Slurpee Day, he couldn't resist. So we stopped by, he got his free cherry slurpee, happy as a kid. The store was prepared for the giveaway, they were nice and friendly. Other customers, not so much, got political, on the side that I disagree, but folks can't keep opinions to themselves, unprovoked, out of the blue. Otherwise, good location, clean, well stocked, big, the parking is flexible, less crazy than other locations. I will stop by again.

Monte Market

One of the most popular thrift stores in the Valley - actually, the most popular and it is…read morefantastic - resides in a old Circuit City building near the intersections of Victory and Woodman. You absolutely can not overlook the famous red tower façade. To the left of this, sits a small shopping strip and in this shopping strip: you will see Monte Market. The signage font looks like it employed the same branding graphic designer as whomever is behind retailers REI or Patagonia, complete with mountain images; but this is no sporting goods store pampering the hiking and granola crowd. Rather, Monte Market is an ethnic market (predominately Armenian, Russian-Armenian) and being European (100% Hungarian) means that I ADORE ethnic stores and therefore I made a beeline for the Monte Market entrance like a moth to a flame. Monte Market is a relatively small space but they fit a large variety of goods into the square footage. You will find everything from dried fruits, nuts, candies/chocolates, teas, beverages, cookies, fruit syrups for seltzers (us Hungarians love these) lavash breads, and other dried goods; to fresh produce, refrigerated items and a deli and meat counter. You can find a little bit of everything at Monte Market on your list plus can order meats for your events (or just your dinner). The great thing about Monte Market is that in typical ethnic market fashion, you will find imported goodies that you don't see in our standard grocery stores even if from brands we are used to for example: Oreo and Twix cookies we don't have at Ralphs, tea inside matroyshka nesting dolls, etc. Also favorably, I've found that items tend to be expired at ethnic stores and covered in a layer of dust but that didn't seem to be the case at Monte Market. Another highlight of Monte Market? I was expecting crazy, overpriced items due to imports and being a specialty market and I was happily surprised to find that prices were VERY fair and even less than prices at a Ralphs! Even eggs which are in hot demand at the time of this review were cheaper than most other stores including Walmart. Very impressive, Monte Market! My only complaint with Monte Market is that I felt very out of place. Everyone from the employees to other customers were starting at me. Did they know I'm not Armenian? Was it because I was dressed up in a sexy outfit and heels? Even the girl behind the register whom I tried to start small talk with cause were were both wearing cropped black leather jackets; asked if I needed help in a way that was obvious she thought I was trying to steal or be shady. Relax honey, I'm not stealing ethnic foods and simply browsing. Other than that slight hiccup; Monte Market is quite nice with a desirable selection of goods that is much better than the other Armenian markets in the adjacent area (which, for the record, also always give me weird looks as well so maybe it is because I'm not Armenian. Meh). I suggest Monte Market up their customer service game. Despite this, I still recommend this market for your Middle Eastern goodies or to browse after your thrift store adventure.

I absolutely in love with all Armenian food. The only problem they had is inconsistently of salads taste. Sometimes it's good, or hot it supposed to be, but sometimes absolutely wrong. I hope they fix it)) It's not a big deal for people who know the recipe. Oh! And the bakery section is delicious. Hope, it's gonna grow as well! I know it's all coming for "big brother " shop, and the selection there is much more.

Mostly for snacks, juice... the occasional weekend out and about minis and/or lottery tickets on occasion. They have a lot of product in the store especially wine, spirits and the essential liquor store snacks. The isles aren't too big which can be a little bitter sweet especially if a small line starts to form or there's a few customers trying to navigate around or past you. The gentlemen who work here are pretty laidback and personable as well as pretty nice. I've place an orders here via minibar app a few times, especially more so back in May and June when things were still pretty closed down... And even then I received quality customer service. One time they were out of a bottle of sweet shiraz I wanted to get to gift to a friend who was between jobs and they were out of stock but upgraded me to an equally comparable wine that was a dollar or so more. One of the gentlemen at the store called me and gave me updates on my order because they were actually pretty busy during memorial day weekend. I passed through recently for super lotto and always get wished a good luck! The parking is pretty smooth and keeps a steady flow despite being in a mini plaza of neighborhood shops. Though there is also street parking close by. I definitely prefer coming here to 7-11 just across the street from them as they have just about everything they carry with a few surprises here and there via snacks and beverages. Definitely support this long standing small business when you can and satisfy your cravings of convenience.
