    Costco warehouse is insane.

Five star as usual. Costco is one of my favorites and always will be. We are using the self checkout line the regular checkout line, the pharmacy or the food court. This location is in a delightful experience.

2025/11/11: I came here today to get my membership card since I signed up via Groupon, they have a special for signing up for membership, they will give you a $40 gift card. So I got my photo taken for my membership card, the lady tried really hard to get me to upgrade to their executive level membership It's been a long time since I was last a member so I browsed and look around, tried out the samples. I saw a few things I wanna get next time I visit. This location has a large parking lot but it's always packed. I found out that they now accept visa as payment, they used to accept American Express only.. I also found out that anyone can use their pharmacy without a membership.

Definitely a 2-3 star. Not all employees are helpful. Some are rude and don't make you feel welcomed. Probably not the nicest Costco in the valley. This is the closest Costco to me unfortunately. Great deals. I wish some products they didn't get rid of but they did bring 2 back that I appreciate. Parking is a B even with the disabled parking is always full. Test your patience here when looking for parking space. Needs improvement.

1 1/2 minute read: We've been Costco Members for some years now. Always been treated just fine in all departments Some ten days ago I went to get my eyes examined and had Costco Optical department fill my prescription. I was helped by Larissa. I was impressed by her patience with me. It wasn't faked. She came across as very sincere, friendly and she definitely knew what she was doing. I was very very please. Larissa was very professional, helpful & kind. She explained everything I needed to know and did it in such a smooth, reassuring manner. I received my glasses a few days sooner than I expected. Thank you, Larissa and thank you Costco.

Egg review only...Who's got the best price on eggs right now? Costco is who. I have four granddaughters, basically a daycare and these girls want eggs every morning so sold out if not something I want to hear. Costco to the rescue! You have to get in line and be there early, but if you want the best deal for your buck and quantity, Costco is for you. I like a lot of other things at Costco but today its about the eggs, and breakfast!

A trip to Costco is always quite the adventure. It's always exciting to see what new products they have and also check out the seasonal displays. You can always find certain products there, but the brands may change from time to time. So if you see a set of dishes you like, BUY THEM! Because that exact set might not be there next time. I also really enjoy to look through the clothing section because sometimes they have really great deals and even cute kids clothes. It's really easy to blow a couple hundred dollars here in one trip. I always buy diapers, wipes, the taco kit (highly recommend), eggs and berries here at the very least. The prices for the organic produce is great, but they don't always have it available. If you need something, Costco probably has it. Folding tables, back massagers, plants, pots, fans, heaters, automotive supplies, dog beds, laundry detergent, a kayak...the list never ends! Costco is always the place to go when you are throwing a party. Drinks and snacks in bulk are great, as well as their premade foods. Their pizza is SO cheap too! They also have good sized cakes and pies available for a good price. Also, I have been gifted jewelry from Costco and it was absolutely stunning and so reasonable priced. I actually replaced my wedding band with a ring from Costco and it's everything I could have ever wanted. Treat someone special to some beautiful and affordable jewels!!! Lots of parking, but you might have to circle a bit depending on the time of day that you go. This costco somehow runs out of carts so fast. A few times I have waited outside for them to round up carts or even found one out in the parking lot myself.

On November 17th, I purchased Advil for $19.99. Upon attempting to return the item, I was issued a refund of $17.00. When I inquired about the discrepancy, I was informed that the reduced refund amount was due to a current promotional sale price for Advil. The short Hispanic male employee didn't accept my return. I was returning $19.99 Advil. He is not educated well enough. Another cashier Yansi A - female didn't know help me at all. COSTCO RETURN policy "Costco will accept returns within 90 days from the date the member received the product; see product page for return instructions".

Costco is Costco - it's the same experience no matter which location you go to. This one is a little spicier since it's in the good ol' hood of Van Nuys! Parking lot is Thunderdome as everyone drives it like they stole it! You better put a pep in your step and keep it moving until you get to the safety of the inside deathmatch! It's free-for-all walking around and there's no mercy in this dojo! It's quite the obstacle course dodging the elderly, the jerkasaurus customers who needlessly create traffic jams by stopping in the most inconvenient spots, kids trying to escape from their parent's clutches, people trying free samples like they've never eaten or drank anything before, spillage in aisles, people using their carts like battering rams, sad sack entitled brats, etc... You never know what you're gonna run into so limber up - remember movement is life! You can buy most everything you need in bulk to hunker down for weeks/months, visit the optometry section so your eyes don't rot and stuff your face with cheap eats from the food court as you contemplate your life's decisions that led you to spend more than you originally anticipated. Costco is where dreams are made or shattered, strength is forged in fire and a hot dog costs $1.50!

Ask the Community - Costco Wholesale

Is Costco enforcing having a membership in order to buy from the food court? Just curious since I remember back in March they said they were going to start enforcing this

Yes, they are asking to show cards at the door at this particular location. I'm unsure about the outdoor food courts in Burbank & Woodland Hills.

    Least busiest to go shopping?

    Tuesday morning.

Can you pump gas 24 hours even when the store is closed?

No. Gas hours are around the same as regular store hrs

Does Costco take food stamp cards (EBT)?

    Yes

Do you need an appointment for the eye exams?

    No they take walk ins!

Does anybody know what the gas rates are at Costco? I don't see a sign with the prices on them..

We stopped at Costco gas station last weekend, there was only 2 options, gas 87 and 89. I filled up with gas 89 I think it was $3,179 and if I remember correctly gas 87 was…

Does this Costco have a car wash?

    N0

Why is the gas station closed? When will it reopen?

    It's open

On this visit we were looking for a phone charger for my son's I-phone 13. An employee helped him find exactly what he was looking for and the price was affordable. $27.40 (including tax). As he was shopping for his charger, I was on the 1st floor looking for different styles/labels of vacuums and microwaves. Sarvin and Kelly were very helpful showing me different models of both appliances. They were a tad expensive for our budget. The last vacuum that we got from here is almost 10 years old. We will definitely return to see if they have anything that costs a little less. They do have some sales items which is a plus. It's a very nice, clean store with plenty of parking all around. 10/10. They also have snacks/beverages. We were there on April 3rd around 7pm. Thank you Best Buy Sarvin, & Kelly.

Yes this really happened. Then I said excuse me again which really seemed to surprise her. So she moved again as soon as she got off the phone call she got right back into the area I was standing and basically tried to push me out of the way so she could fold shirts again. Yeah. This is what you hire target? I don't know this person outside of the store it wasn't anything malicious it was just incredibly unintelligent. I literally could not buy a shirt in Target because the employee wouldn't get out of the way lol. Are you kidding me? Even after I said excuse me more than once. It didn't seem like the employee was being rude, it just seemed like they were so unfocused that they barely even knew that they were there. Like they have one command "fold shirt" and they don't understand to use any amount of common sense regarding customers. That's a new one lol. I hear you don't have the same problem when you order on amazon. Guess that's what I will do. Edit: I was able to order a shirt on Amazon and get it in time for the show tonight that I was trying to accomplish the other day at this poorly employed store. So it was a happy ending after all, I actually saved a few bucks ordering it on Amazon and I didn't have to deal with an employee that doesn't understand common sense.

We went to geeksquad first, which apparently no longer sends out consoles to Sony for repair. And then we went to GameStop, where we were told that they do not do repairs either. But the workers at GameStop highly recommended Videomen. That is how we came to know about this location. I came to Videomen with my husband after calling and explaining the issue that we were having with my husbands ps5 slim. My husbands first impression was very pessimistic, simply because the location looks like it hasn't been updated in years. We went in and met Tai. Tai is the only one working in the store. I believe it is his location. He explained he would try his best to fix the issue, and quoted us a price for the repair. He said if he wasn't able to fix the console, he would only charge $25 for his time, which we found very reasonable. Tai told us to give him a call in hour for a report on his progress. We left and my husband was still very doubtful, saying the store was empty, and outdated. I told my husband that it looked like Tai and the Videomen location had been there for more than 20 years, working to repair electronics. I told him, I put my faith in him much more than a kid working part time in a newer store. After an hour we called again at 5:00pm, well past the store closing time. But Tai answered the phone to let us know that he was still working to solve the issue and would need more time. We understood and agreed to give him another call back in an hour. Tai ended up giving us a call around 6:00pm letting us know the console was up and running perfectly again! He asked if we wanted to pick up tonight or tomorrow. I let Tai know we were about 25 minutes according to GPS and he agreed to wait for us to pick the console up from his store. When we arrived Tai was very communicative. He connected the ps5 for a monitor to show us that the console was up and running smoothly before he explained all he had done to repair the console, and the likely reason it failed to work in the first place. He told us he let the console run for about 45 minutes to make sure the issue didn't arise again. And literally explained everything we needed to know to prevent the issue from ever happening again. Now, My husband is in a much better mood since we have received the working PS5 back from Tai. And we 100% recommend him to anyone and everyone in need of an electronic repair. I definitely recommend calling beforehand to speak to Tai, verifying that he will be in the store. And to communicate the item you need repaired plus the issues you are having with it. It's very rare to see a mom and pop shop still standing, and I am happy I was able to support this gem in my community. We will definitely return for any future repairs our family may need, And will proudly refer Tai at Videomen to anyone looking to repair their gaming console.

He explained I should just get a new ps2 from Amazon and that the laser is completely broken. I tried to play when I came back home just for the ps2 not to work and read any of my games from my library. Dude charged me money just to break my console that I had since 2003.
