I have had my bravo , voltbike for 3 years now. I enjoy every minute of it. From start to finish and after purchase I have had nothing but a great experience. Upon entering there warehouse you can tell the energy in the room.with covid it has been tough getting the shipments in.each time I've been in there I hear customers the poor staff a bad time. Not going to get it any faster complaining.it will be worth the wait. Got my bike today , fully serviced and charged .great after market service. VOLTBIKE WARRANTY CLAIM REFUSAL On July 13, 2021, I placed an order (#4000000632) for a Voltbike Enduro electric bicycle in the amount of $2548 US dollars. This bicycle is marketed internationally and sold from Canada. It was designed primarily for off road use and has a dual suspension. I received the bicycle on September 15, 2021. Unfortunately, it had a defective LCD display and Voltbike sent me a new one under warranty. On September 30, 2021, Voltbike helped me resolve a motor surging problem by telephone under warranty. The bike was fine then until February 8, 2022. I had ridden the bike on Cumberland Island, Georgia mostly on a sandy road but also along the beach. I rode through some light saltwater spray near the beach and the bike ran fine. The motor failed the next day when I rode it near my home?! After a long period of delays and troubleshooting, the problem turned out to be a short in the motor which may have resulted from a power surge of some kind. It "melted" some wiring to the motor. I reported the problem to Voltbike immediately and they "guided" me through a series of troubleshooting steps. I checked the battery condition and it was good. Then, Voltbike sent me a replacement key lock assembly under warranty which did not solve the problem. Then, on April 15, 2022, I was sent a new controller under warranty which did not solve the problem. Finally, on June 10, 2022, I was instructed by Voltbike (Cameron Crawford) to take the motor loose and send it to their repair facility in Washington State. In his e-mail, he agreed to pay my shipping costs and repair the motor under warranty. He also said he would include a Voltbike cable lock for my troubles. Incredibly, when I received the repaired motor back, it would still not work. At this point, I took the bicycle and motor to a bicycle shop about 90 miles from where I live. (Star Bike Shop, Savannah, Georgia) to see if they could help get the motor to work. The bicycle mechanic, Joey Green, called and talked with a Voltbike service technician and was sent a replacement cable harness under warranty. The cable did not solve the problem. Then finally on February 14, 2023, another Voltbike employee, Kenneth Campbell, told us that the motor will not work unless it is "synchronized "using a specific Bafang tool referred to a a BESST tool. We did not have such a tool and requested the tool be loaned to us and that we would send it back when the synchronization was completed. That request was denied and I was given purchase information for this tool from a Chinese company. It did not seem right for me to buy a tool to honor their Voltbike warranty and that the tool is required to get the motor running. I brought this to their attention by e-mail. They would not offer a loan of the tool. So, in desperation on March 29, 2023, I ordered and purchased the $174.27 US dollar tool. Finally, the bicycle mechanic in Savannah was able to synchronize the motor and get it running on May 11, 2023. At this point I submitted a warranty claim for: $150.00-Star Bike Shop mechanic charges $32.50-Motor shipping charges $182.50 Plus the Voltbike Folding lock I did not seek to reclaim the BESST tool cost ($174.27) even though I think they owe it to me because I am afraid another fault will arise with the motor which will require the tool for troubleshooting. Voltbike will not stand behind their warranty and even pay me the compromised amount as above and has only made a token offer to send me the already offered cable lock. This is totally unacceptable and does not satisfy their own warranty. read more

NOT good customer service. Maybe 2023 is NOT their year? Paid for the bike and it took 3 phone calls, plus 2x being DISCONNECTED while on a long hold, to finally have it shipped. Website FALSELY claimed it shipped in 24 hours. WRONG. It was 1 1/2 weeks before it finally shipped. First time I phoned, I was told by the woman who took my call "I have the paperwork in front of me, it'll ship on Wednesday". It should have got to us on the Friday because we live pretty close to them. I called again the next Monday. Again, I was promised it would ship out. We bought it to take with us on a road trip , so we kind of wanted it to show up before we left our house. The key for the ignition bent within 3 weeks of us having it. We are not rough with our stuff. Luckily, we paid for BETTER keys to be cut at a locksmith & we only have the original keys at home, in case we lose both of the locksmith keys that we carry with us. Then at least we have a crappy one to use as a model for a locksmith to make a BETTER one. The kick stand lost its rubber "boot" 4 months after the bike was purchased. I called to ask for a replacement. I was told "I'll mail it out tomorrow". A week later I wrote an e-mail, asking them what it was we did to be treated like feces on the bottom of their runners? We received an e-mail in an hour(!), with the shipping information, and indeed, we actually got the kick stand boot replacement in 2 business days. They should treat their customers as if they actually want to stay in business. The bike we bought is the Urban Step-Thru. We would NOT buy it again. It is NOT possible to ride this SLOWLY while using the assist, so it does not work well if you're riding this bike with someone who is NOT riding an electric bike as well, you will be passing by your non-electrified (?) friend. NOT recommended to use this with another person who is riding a regular bike. O.K. if you're riding alone. We'd give this bike a 40% score. read more

Easy assembly of 2020 Yukon 750 Limited (just attach handlebars and pedals). Was pleasantly surprised by the acceleration of throttle only. Got used to the pedal assist kick-in quickly. The bike rides solid. Love the promax adjustable stem which gives me a much appreciated upright seated position. The only thing I wish for is we in Canada could get the 25 mph top speed like they have in the USA. read more

Wow what a horrible experience from Voltbike.I placed an order on June 8th and after the 4th week I called only to be told it will be shipped that same week. I've called 5 times now and heard the same story. They advertise 6 weeks on their site which is complete bs. It takes them at least 10+ weeks just to ship. The customer service it seems is instructed to say it will ship this week when they no damn well it won't. I haven't cancelled my order because I've had a hard time getting through. Be upfront and honest with your customers if you don't want to lose future business. read more

I bought a Mariner from them. First, they're mainly an online business and is owner operated. I live local so I pay them a visit and they are incredibly accommodating by allowing me to test fit whether their ebikes fits in my trunk and allowing me to test ride their bikes inside their warehouse. After sales support is also very good. Something went wrong with the controller and they replaced it for me without any hassle. read more

I bought the "Outback" in 2020 and had leaking brakes after a few rides. They had to be replaced by my local bike store. Voltbike service only contacted me after I left negative reviews and eventually agreed to reimburse me for them. Shortly after, my rear wheel became wobbly and rubbed against the frame. No accident, no drop - only regular use of an almost new bike. Again no response from Voltbike service. My local store was able to fix it somewhat, so it does not rub the frame anymore. The wobbling continues. Now, after storing it inside over the winter, after a few rides, the power does not turn on, even though the battery is fully charged. Once again, not a peep from Voltbike service. I learned my lesson and wish I had invested in a quality ebike from a local dealer. You get what you pay for. read more

George at Voltbike is a good guy. They are a small company dedicated to getting things right. If at first you don't get in touch with him, be patient he will eventually. I do think they should remove the 24-7 availability from their web site and post realistic M-F, 8-5 PST availability. Setting high expectations only let the customer down. I would just like to say that you have provided absolutely horrendous customer service. I was told back in October that the Volt Bike Interceptor would be available in November. Then I was told December, and finally told mid-January after repeated calls. Long story short, mid-January came, I called and left a message and never received a call back. After the 15th of January, I called back a couple times and no answer. Today, I called from my girlfriends phone, and sure enough, he calls me right back, which leads me to believe I was being purposefully ignored. Seriously, I get that it's a locally owned company and it's great to support local business, but what a let down. My experience might not reflect everyones, but be wary when going through these guys. read more

I just ordered parts for my old bike. The company answered each of my emails in 12 hours or less. I always trust them! I live in a rural land and only have an electric bike from them. So I depend on my bike to go get groceries. The customer service is great! I can always email him and show him what happened with pics and he always helps me! Thank you!!! read more
