Their prices are a bit higher than others around there, but I think the quality of their bikes make up for it. The experience of renting the bike was smooth as you only need to provide a credit card on file before you rent and are only charged after you return the bikes. This removes the hassle of calculating how long you would want to rent the bikes for. They also provide helmets so you don't need to bring anything with you. I'll be sure to stop by there again before summer ends for sure :)

Can return it anytime before their closing hours. Free helmets, bike locks, and baskets if needed. Staff are friendly and let you try different bikes to find the right fit. Bikes are well maintained, comfortable, and ride smoothly. We've rented from them multiple times and keep coming back. If you're renting a bike in the area, I'd recommend these guys over the shops right at the entrance--better prices and great service!

Hope got a regular cruiser and I got one of their e-bikes to try out. Both bikes seemed practically new and rode well. I'd never ridden an e-bike before, but I enjoyed the J725 bike I was on. I think it had a 48v battery with a 500w motor and a cadence sensor. It's also really heavy but I only noticed that when I tried to pick it up. The e-bike was fun but totally unnecessary for Stanley Park- there was one steep but really short hill and a longer (but not really long) incline. I probably had the pedaling assist on for less than 15 minutes total during our three hour ride (most of which was spent stopped at various scenic stops, not riding), and perhaps 5 minutes of that was where it was really useful. It's a great way to try out the e-bike experience though, at least for one with that kind of sensor. Service at checkin and checkout was quick and helpful. The person showing me the e-bike seemed new though, he did a good job of showing me the e-bike features but didn't know whether it had a cadence or torque sensor. He also forgot to show me how to work the shifters, which turned out to be the trickiest part of the bike, I had to ask after I went up and down the alley next to the shop and couldn't figure it out. Cost seemed pretty reasonable once you factor in the included helmet and other accessories.

They always charge fair prices and if a new repair comes up, they will call you first to confirm the additional repairs before doing so. Scheduling is super easy, you can just call on the phone and they will tell you when you can drop it off. If it is a super simple repair like fixing a flat, usually you can just drop in and drop it off. I had my sexy gravel bike (see photo) and e-bike repaired here. Some bike shops are scared to touch ebikes, but this shop is one stop shop and does it. Just really happy with the fair pricing and great customer service. RAD cycles keep doing what you do.

We saw so many beautiful sights in and around Stanley Park, including an eagle's nest! They even provided ponchos just in case the Vancouver weather decided not to cooperate. One thing to know: the tour moves at a pretty good pace. It didn't bother us at all, but slower riders may find themselves bringing up the rear. Great way to see Stanley Park. We'd absolutely recommend this tour!

Our tour guide Nick is a nice person, but he just rode so fast and he left me so far behind. The tour pace was so fast that it forced people to run traffic lights and it's very unsafe for first timers in the city. We asked for partial refund and was denied by the manager Katie who obnoxiously by email all our negative experiences. This forced me to write this review here. This bike tour was the most miserable part of our first time visit to the otherwise very beautiful city. --- The bike rented for me was difficult to ride. Somehow the pedals kept jamming a few times when I started to ride. The gear was ok and I was pretty sure I switched gears correctly when biking, but sometimes I had to paddle real hard. I do bike around home so this certainly feels very awkward today. Tour was pretty fast paced so didn't really get to enjoy the views along the route. kind of stressed too with so many opposite and rushing bikers around as well as pedestrians.

I've tried out five other Vancouver bike shops over the past decade for various small and larger repairs. Over the past three years, I've been to three different bike shops because of a clicking sound and a ride that felt increasingly not smooth. A couple of places thought they knew what it was and fixed something, but the clicking continued with no improvement. The third place couldn't hear the noise and suggested I just wasn't getting the friction shifter for my gears exactly in the right place. When I brought my bike into the Bike Repair Center, John went over it with me and very quickly showed me a number of problems - a wheel that was ancient and causing vibration, a gear set and chain that were worn, and pedals that were worn out and loose, among other things. As I'm someone who doesn't have a background in mechanics, I greatly appreciated John's ability to quickly and accurately pinpoint the problems and explain them to me in simple terms without talking down to me. He was great with all my questions and seems to consider education about bike care part of his job. It's a slow season and he said it would take a couple of days to finish all the work, but called me the next day to say my bike was ready. The ride home was unbelievably smooth. No noise or vibration, everything feels steady and tight, and my bike feels much safer and infinitely more enjoyable to ride than it has for at least the past couple of years. I'm delighted with the whole experience and will be returning here for ongoing bike maintenance and repairs, and recommending this place to friends. I had a bike that other shop said could not be fixed, but Simon's shop figured it out right away and fixed the issue. The owner Simon is a bit of a quirky character, but if you can maneuver carefully around that, it's a bike shop with reasonable prices and quick, efficient, honest service.

Took my e-bike in to be repaired, and it WILL be the last time I bring a bike in to get repaired…read more Was told to bring my bike in last week of March, and I would receive an email or call to let me know when to bring it in. I did not hear from West Point Cycles - West 10th. I decided to stop in to find out when to bring the bike in, they told me to bring it that day. They had a date to repair my bike and was told the bike would be ready for pick up on Tuesday, April 8. I called on Thursday, April 10 - as I did not hear from them on Tuesday, or Wednesday, they advised they had my mobile number listed as a landline (why I received no notification) and why I did not receive anything via email is another mystery. Thursday's call advised the bike would be ready that night, or Friday, April 11. I decided to call Friday, April 11th and told me my bike would be ready tomorrow Saturday, 12. Then the manager Dave called (unprofessional) advises that the bike will not be ready until Sunday, April 13, as a part needs to come from their Langley store. They did not have a repair date like they told me of Saturday, April 5, or Sunday April 6? The bike was able to change gears prior to taking it - now it won't. They never advised this when I picked it up. I have lost confidence and trust in West Point Cycles - West 10th - I feel that I have been strung along, and they keep coming up with excuses why my bike is not ready. The lack of customer service is mind blogging and how does an organization operate with this much lack of service and care to the customer. It is the customer who is doing leg work when you want a bike repaired here. They did offer me a discount on the repair - which I refused.
