I started with the typical employment agencies in SD but ran across Integrity who specialized in Human Resources. There was only one yelp review Integrity Staffing and it had one star. What can I say, I needed a job and I didn't have anything to lose. I had the great pleasure of working with Gretchen Bonifield. She called me in for an interview and it was one of the most pleasurable experiences from an employment agency I've ever had. She gave me a better format for my resume, told me what groups I can contact to network with other HR professionals, and she knew exactly what kind of personality type I was....LOL! It took about two months to find me the perfect job, (I was registered with other temp agencies in the mean time to see which would find me a perm job first) but when she did find me a job, it was for a company that fit ME perfectly. I don't know what else to say but Gretchen helped find a job.

When I was moving into a career in HR, I asked the professors and fellow students in my HR program…read morewho I should use to find my job. Repeatedly I was told "Integrity Staffing" and decided to give it a try as my own job hunt had turned up nothing. To give you some context about me, I have a very strong educational and professional background, but because I was switching careers, all traditional job applications were filtering me out due to my lack of HR-specific keywords. I knew I needed someone who could vet for me and get me into interviews I would never get on my own. From my first meeting with Gretchen, I was impressed with the level of time she spent getting to know me and my aspirations. Yes, she wanted to know what I was good at, but she was also very interested in the type of culture and lifestyle I was looking for. She wanted to make sure she didn't just get me a job, but that it was the right fit. With Gretchen's help, I was able to get an interview with a company that normally would have overlooked me because of my lack of experience. But with her help, I was able to nab an interview. Throughout the multi-part interview process, Gretchen was extremely responsive and acted as a coach for me so I could feel confident and do my best. As I result, I was able to interview very successfully, and ultimately I got an extremely attractive job offer. Without her help, I don't know how I could have managed it! Thank you so much, Gretchen, for your help! I will definitely be recommending you to everyone in HR that I know.

This review is no measure on Ward's professionalism: They were kind and very professional and…read morealways responsive. For context, I was in a rough spot in my career. I was unemployed for a while working temp jobs and couldn't get hired. My career has been all over the place, and I haven't stayed at one job very long. I knew I needed the best resume writer I could get and knew it'd be expensive. I found Ward, and took out a new credit card and spent $1000 cause I was going broke and losing my mind. The results just weren't great. I was actually getting worse results than I had before. After 8 months I hadn't gotten a single interview. I'd reached out to Ward to see about helping me out but ended up editing it myself after they'd told me it already aligned with the roles I was applying for. They were responsive and got back to me but I realized there was nothing they could do to fix my problem. It wasn't just a resume problem, I also had issues with being qualified for the role I was actually applying for (This came up with recruiters). I also had issues with Ward's process. They aren't miracle-workers, they're going to write a resume exactly how you tell them to write it. But the problem is one doesn't always know what they need. I'm not a resume writer so I don't know why my previous resume isn't working, or what best belongs on my current resume or what is the most significant parts of my life that align with my role. They don't find the subtext, they don't notice themes. They don't quite tell your story in a way no one else could. They're not able to bring to light the things hidden in your career or life. If you don't tell them it's not going to be on there. They're fantastic formatters but that's about it. Which is great for a person who's had a very straight and simple career path and is looking for a good looking resume. A big part of their process is beating the ATS system, which is great but doesn't mean it will please the recruiters well enough to get you in the door. Resumes need to sell you and be pleasing to the eye. I feel like Wards approach failed in this regard for someone who's career path wasn't very linear. They focus more on keywords than looking good and being pleasing to read. If you've worked a very linear career (same path in the same industry) Ward is great I'm sure. But if you haven't had a straight path, are frustrated in your career and want to switch careers, or your resume sucks and you don't know why you'll need another service. Also if you're having trouble selling yourself in ways that have been previously null, Ward misses the mark. I ended up having to go to another competitor resume writer who not only wrote a better resume but realized in our consultation I was searching down the wrong path. I'm in a totally different role now. Something he helped me discover before writing a resume for a role that wasn't my fit. I appreciate Ward's professionalism, and respect that their many positive reviews are there for a reason. Just didn't work out for me.

Unlike many recruiters who simply send job postings, Vicki truly invested in my success. She took the time to understand my background, career goals, strengths, and long-term aspirations. What impressed me most was her persistence and commitment. Vicki worked tirelessly to help me find the right opportunity, not just any opportunity. She carefully matched me with positions that aligned with my experience and career objectives and was always available to answer questions, provide encouragement, and help me navigate important career decisions. We are a military family and we just moved to San Diego from Hawaii. We signed a lease on a unit…read morethat we did not see in person since we had to quickly lock in a place to live in the short time frame the military gave us to move. We moved in and found that the unit was not thoroughly cleaned from when the previous renters lived there so we did some research and decided to hire Fresh-n-Home. I had high hopes for this company because the other reviews were outstanding, but unfortunately I was disappointed. The unit was empty when we hired them to come in and clean so I didn't think they'd have any issues finding the areas that needed to be deep-cleaned. There was candle wax splattered on the walls and floors; caked on grease on the cabinets; food splattered on the wall above the stove; a brown ring in the toilet; mold on the dishwasher; among other things. To their credit, they were able to remove the mold from the dishwasher and the brown ring in the toilet, but everything else appeared to be untouched. In fact, they even broke one of the handles on our toilet and left the pieces on the bathroom counter. I found it rude that they didn't mention the damage once they had left, so I emailed Kelly and she was courteous and offered to send the girls back to clean and fix what was missed. Keep in mind, the first time they came they spent about 4.5 hours "cleaning" the house. A couple days later they came back and fixed the toilet handle and wiped the food splatter off the wall. There was still wax on the wall and she asked me if I would like her to remove it, I said yes. She told me the first time they were there they weren't able to get the grease off the cabinets because we didn't have any hot water since the water heater wasn't turned on. By the end of it, we still had grease on our cabinets and our floors were dirty (even though I saw her mop). They just didn't seem as thorough as advertised. And we were charged $292.50...
