Easily the most unprofessional and disorganized experience I have ever had. One of their "recruiters" reached out to me through LinkedIn to tell me he had a consultant/advisor position available and he wanted to set up an interview. Several days later he asks me my availability and if I can jump on a call. I proceed to give him my availability and he schedules the call for the wrong day and wrong time. "Oops, sorry." He reschedules, and . . . gets it wrong AGAIN!! Finally, 3rd time is a charm. Set up the day/time, clear my schedule for that specific block of time, and . . . the contact at the company doesn't even bother to call. Not even a follow-up call/email to explain anything. I had to contact them to get an explanation as to why no call. "Oh, sorry. Sometimes that happens. Maybe reschedule for next week?" Nope. No thanks. If you ever have the misfortune of being contacted by Insight Global or Cole Fergus, run. read more

Cole is a new, young recruiter so he is still sharpening his recruiting skill tools. But he's was very genuine and persistent throughout the whole process. UPDATE I went in to meet with a recruiter in January of this year. I was sorely mistaken when I thought they could find me employment. I was called multiple times regarding a customer service position with Kaiser. Took the online tests and waited. When I called them I was told that the position was "on hold". Then they called me and had me go on an interview with a company that has a horrible reputation. I have had numerous recruiters call me again for the so called Kaiser customer service position and I finally sent them an email and told them to take me off of their list for a potential employee. I've never written a review of a recruiting company before but there is first time for everything. I was emailed regarding a position that I qualified for and interested in applying. Emailed the person back. Didn't hear from them in 24 hours. Got a random call which was the recruiter which lasted about 5 minutes because there were phone issues. Not sure on what end but we rescheduled a call for the following work day. No call. I called the number an hour after the scheduled time. Was asked to leave my call back number and a message to be given a call back the next day. Next day arrives and no call. I email the person again. No reply. It's going on almost a week now with no communication. Finally get a reply via email to schedule another phone call. It gets confirmed. Guess what. You guessed it. No call No show. I called the number again an hour after the scheduled call. The person I talked to had no idea where that person was. I ended up going onto the company website of the job they were recruiting for to apply directly. The job DOESN'T EXSIST!!! I attempted to email their PR department and the email was invalid. I would stay away from this company. They obviously don't want legitimate hard working people only meet a call/email quota. If the company would like me to give out the recruiters name please PM me but if you do I hope you either retrain or let this person go. This is over a weeks worth of time wasted I could have been working. Luckily I didn't put all my eggs into one recruiting basket. Please get the act together. read more

Today I found out I was getting low-balled. Insight Global paying me significant lower. The other employees are making more than me. The position is entry level and was supposed to be the same salary across the board. I'm making $6.00 less than the other employees. This company is ver deceitful, dishonest, and disrespectful. The account representative and his manager are inconsiderate, insensitive, and unprofessional. The director doesn't have no say so and doesn't fight for his contractors. I asked to match my salary with everyone else and they said ''IT'S NOT IN OUR BUDGET'' How disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional. I'm very disappointed, displeased, and dissatisfied with the outcome. I drove straight down the office and told them I was giving two weeks notice and would never work them. I'm a veteran with a bachelors degree in management and making less than other contractors with no degree and less experience. This company is a joke. January 3rd, 2020 can't come any faster. I had a conversation with a recruiter who would interrupt me while answering his questions. I asked if he could hear me okay on a couple of occasions and he said yes. After the 2nd to 3rd time of being talked over, I had to say I'm trying to answer your questions, but feel I'm being interrupted. If you want actually get to know your candidates, let them speak! Also, asking why someone is leaving their company when they never said they had intention of doing so is rude. The recruiter said he found my resume on indeed.com, but that doesn't imply I'm trying to 'leave' my company. As I mentioned, I am looking for a potential career change in the near future, but that I'm currently networking internally. Also, asking for managerial references at my current company is not pertinent because I wasn't applying to any particular job. So, why is there a need to ask for references to be shared even if there's is no intent for the recruiter to reach out to a manager? I said I'd be happy to share my references if, in any event, I was to apply to a job. Lastly, if I have about 10 years of experience in my current industry (as the recruiter stated my resume was impressive), why would I be offered a potential role that is paying $40,000 less? Before cold calling candidates, recruiters should do their research first. Not only did it waste my time, but probably theirs as well. read more

Use to work with them, when my job ended with third party, they told me not to go back to get my personal belongings that they would go themselves to get it for me. Few months later, I still never got anything. I won't mention names but they didn't communicate very well and kept saying we will get back to you. Personal contact. That's what differentiates my Insight Global experience from most other agencies. As employment candidates we are not people, we are a commodity. That's the way it is, and I can accept that. What makes the employment search difficult and depressing is the number of corporate and agency recruiting operations where the candidates are never more than a commodity. At Insight Global I have a recruiter, Shannon, who is on top of MY situation and is always there to respond to my emails, and not just with a canned reply but always with a personal, friendly thought. Shannon has hundreds of candidates and probably dozens "in the pipeline" for a specific job at any one time. I know that. But she makes me feel like I'm the only one, all the time. The personal contact really raises Insight Global well above average in the recruiting field. read more

When it comes to Insight Global I can say that they did get me a good job. On the down side, I did have payroll issues somewhat regularly especially when it came to sick time. Additionally in the year I was employed I had upwards of 7 or 8 different recruiters which was frustrating until the manager promised she would be the only one handling me from then on out. This proved to not be true either as about 2 months later I get yet another call from someone to let me know they would be my new recruiter. My contract ended and I didn't hear another word from insight global until 3 months later. They made zero effort to contact me. But really pushed me to give them a stellar review before I even worked one week. Not impressed with the lack of professionalism I endured but again, they did get me a good job. read more

It can be very difficult to have this understanding given the large spectrum of UX skills. The subsequent communication and scheduling after our first conversation was smooth and efficient. I am very disappointed with Insight Global..I feel like they treat you as if you were just a paycheck to them. I hated my experience at the position I was given, I expressed those concerns to Briana, they don't really care about your well-being, just that they're getting paid. After I was let go, there was barely any excuse and when I went to follow up with them, I received no answer, no e-mail, no phone call back. They are not a company you would want to work for because they do not help you look for work after assignments.
