They are not able to conduct themselves in a professional manner and treat people as if they have no knowledge. If you want to be treated poorly and talked down to like you have no value, then this is the place for you. I worked with Manpower, MiraTech location for more than four years. The staffing specialist for…read morethe administrative division, at the time, was headed by Jenny Rodriguez. I was seeking a position as an executive assistant after being laid off for the first time in my life. Although I was talented in my profession, I had no "current" interviewing skills. I was working with at least five or six other agencies with little to no success in getting interviews. If I did get an interview and didn't get the assignment, they never called back or if I called them they would indicate they had nothing while they were sending my associates, who were seeking the same type position on interviews. None of these recruiters was willing to help me improve on my ability to sell myself. I found a position on Manpower's website and submitted my resume and received a call and setup an appointment for an initial assessment interview. Meeting with Jenny, my impression was experienced, dedicated, professional, easy to talk to and determined to place qualified/serious candidates with their customers. No matter how late it has been, if I called her and the office was closed (and I left her a message), she always called back to help me address any concerns I may have had. Also, Jenny has met with me and talked to me long after the office closed to help me with my confidence level when another candidate was chosen for a position I had interviewed for. During our entire working relationship she was open and honest with me after each interview, giving me, sometimes hard feedback. She make sure that I was always prepared with the company information, the names and titles of those I would be interviewing with as well as insight into personalities if she had that information. She helped me with my skills in the interviewing process; how to respond, "what to say", and sometimes, "what not to say".
