Steffany the Division Director is OUTSTANDING!! Her support of military family members seeking employment goes above and beyond the call of duty!! I understand it is very hard to get a job these days, but I do feel La Jolla OfficeTeam does the best they can. With that said, I believe Will does not keep his word on arrangements he sets up including not calling back on voicemail. Furthermore, I left a job paying .50 cents more to immediately accept a job position arranged for me by Steffany. After earning better employment at Miramar MCAS, I feel this fact was overlooked in the end. Regardless, Steffany is AWESOME and I recommend La Jolla Office Team to everyone!! read more

RH was good to work for at first but then I asked for the money that I was told I'd receive. They then refused to release it to me until I finally got a resolution. RH then told me no hard feelings, since I'm only following through on what I was promised. After that, RH stopped helping me find work and has denied me for positions that I'm well qualified for. I'm unsure who is running this company, but I wouldn't say it's a smart move on their part. Actalent's however has been great, maybe work with them instead. read more

They don't care about the people they place on assignments all they care about is getting their money from the employment company they placed you with. I was told my assignment was 90 days, now I'm Told something different, my employer I'm working for wants to hire me on, but the fee they would have to pay is outrageous read more

Very helpful staff. They have very reliable communication and helped me land a job within a week. Working with Madalynn has been a joy front start to finish. Would recommend anyone to reach out and use Robert Half! read more

I am sad to share an experience. This company has been unbelievably difficult and dishonest to work with. They place temp candidates on full time hire jobs, charge excessive fees as far as I'm concerned. They don't have any skin in the game for your business at all. These guys coached a candidate they placed to stay for 90 days to stay and had them interview with other firms while working for our company! They could not care less you or business. The employers are paying you not the candidates. From a business owner to others out there STAY AWAY FROM THESE LIARS. Save the money go to indeed that's pretty much the quality of their candidates anyway. read more

I have had the pleasure to work for Andrea Diaz & her team at Robert Half since August 2023 as a contract employee. I have found Andrea to be exceptionally responsive and helpful to take care of all my requests or concerns that have come up all throughout my employment. I would definitely recommend working with Andrea to assist good employees with quality work opportunities. read more

I have been so pleased with my experience with Robert Half. Madalynn Liechty-my awesome recruiter, has literally been YAHWEH (GOD) sent. I had just quit my job 2-3 weeks prior due to the craziness of covid and mandates and Madalynn emailed me with a job opportunity that I never applied for. I sent my resume in that day, Madalynn called me, we spoke and I had an interview the very next day and was hired for a temp to hire fully remote position on the spot. 4 months later, I now work for an amazing company and my first day as a permanent employee is on Monday! I would recommend Robert Half to anyone. They really take care of their employees and fit them in the right position! TYSM Madalynn and RH I am truly grateful for YAHWEH (GOD) and how he orchestrated this amazing WFH position. All glory to YAH!!! read more

Worked with Robert Half twice. Both times were great. Always consistent and communicative! It's best to call about jobs and not only use the website. Madalynn and Mallory are amazing! read more

I contracted Office Team / Robert Half to do a small data entry project. They provided suitable candidates (at a somewhat pricey rate) who worked on the project for a few weeks. After the project ended I received excessive follow up from their team and even other departments at Robert Half to the point where I asked to be removed from their contact list. 6 months later and 5+ request to be removed from their contact list and they are still sending unwanted emails and occasional phone calls. Only contact Office Team if you are prepared to deal with high pressure sales and excessive unwanted follow up without your consent. read more

Allison and the Robert half team were extremely helpful and led me to my dream job. I couldn't recommend them enough if you're in between jobs/looking to get placed at a great company. The process is super smooth and they assist you with any questions you have during your employment with them. read more

I'm a little confused with Robert Half here in San Diego. When I lived in Los Angeles, I sent out my resume and I heard back from a recruiter within 24-48 hours. Now here in San Diego, I have sent out my resume, called and left voicemails and nothing. I'm very disappointed in the San Diego office. It's like they do not care! I would give the Los angels office 5 stars. However, San Diego gets 1 - update. I was transferred to someone who can "help me" left 2 voicemails and never heard back. Smh read more

Definitely do not recommend. My girlfriend has been ghosted by TWO recruiters from here. First was last year, before COVID hit. She didn't get the first job she had applied for and the recruiter expressed his condolences and asked to be kept in the loop about any future opportunities he could help with, then stopped responding to her altogether when she attempted to apply for other opportunities on the Robert Half site. More recently she saw a new job posted and rolled the dice again. This time, weeks after the interview with a new Robert Half rep, there has been no response once again and all her emails and calls are just being ignored. They seem to put on a good face up front, but then ghost you except for the spam emails. read more

I did not have a good experience with RobertHalf. The recruiter called, she did not discuss anything about what I was looking for or even ask more about my experience. Within 2 mins of the call, she asked me If I was interested in a temp role and when I said I didn't prefer that. She quickly said she didn't have anything else and sounded like she wanted to end the conversation. She said "I don't have any full time positions right now, period". I have worked at a staffing agency before and I know for a fact that every candidate is valuable eventually if not at that very moment. read more

I had been searching for a job for 2 months, had several in person interveiws, and over a dozen phone and zoom interveiws and was having no luck finding a good job that fit my criteria. I was contacted by an amazing Robert Half practice director, Madelynn. She helped me find a dream job! I was looking for a career change, and the job she connected me with is amazing. I just got hired on directly, and I couldnt be happier with my experience with this agency. They really are top notch. If you are in search for a job, I would highly recommend using Robert Half. The staff is friendly, responsive, helpful, and everything you look for in a staffing agency. Their App is also intuitive and easy to use. Five stars all the way!! read more

I have been working with Robert Half since august and I have nothing but great things to say about the company and especially one of my recruiters Ally Patterson. Very Non Professional , came in to have an interview awhile back & the girl ( forgot her name she was very unprofessional) that conducted my interview asks me bout my experiences and when I told her first thing she said was " Really How'd you get that job"? I'm like " I was qualified enough to be hired". (U already know what she meant by that ) She wasn't really interested in my background or my experiences felt like I was already crossed off her list. Basically They ain't trynna help you ,all u get here is a few bogus "up to date calls & SPAM EMAILS " No one is really concerned bout you trynna get you into a solid, secure position. I would not recommend engaging with this group. They are great when you contact them to engage but it's like a bad breakup with an ex. They won't leave you alone! They were not able to find adequate candidates for our company so we disengaged. Or so we thought. They stalk our job postings and send us potentials. We have asked them to stop contacting us and yet we just got another email. Aye!! You're better off going through Monster.com or another service and not paying the exorbitant head hunting charges. Now, off to go in ghost mode and hopefully they listen to my Dear John email. Otherwise Twitter here I come. read more

I have worked with Office Team on and off now for several years. Starting with the DC office when I lived in Maryland and then the LA office once I moved out to CA back in 2006 and most recently with the La Jolla Office in San Diego. Working with a temp agency always has mixed experiences but I can honestly say that the short time I spent working with Linda and Lance at the La Jolla Office was terrific (I temped for a couple of months after graduation and prior to moving back up to LA). I especially enjoyed working and communicating with Linda and she was always prompt to respond to email questions, and such. If you are looking for temp assignments in San Diego I would recommend working with the La Jolla Office Team branch. As with any gig communicate with the people you work with as you would wish them to communicate with you. read more

I had a GREAT experience with Office Team! I originally met with Lance back in September, and right off the bat I knew I was going to have a good experience. He was very honest about my job prospects, listened to requests, and worked hard to find me assignments. About 2 days after my original interview, I received a call about an available assignment. Lance, Linda, and Kevin work so well together. Lance was very honest from the beginning and gave incredibly useful tips that would help me throughout the entire process. He encouraged me to call and check in with him every now and then, which I did. Like any job search, you also have to put the work in and hold yourself accountable to find employment. If you haven't heard from them in a few weeks, send a reminder email or give them a call. Almost always, I received a call back within DAYS with a new assignment opportunity. They were so understanding of my needs and concerns, and I truly felt taken care of. If you want a team that will stay in contact, provide REALISTIC information, keep you in the loop, and work their butts off to find you employment, stick with these guys. read more

I'm not sure how employers feel about OfficeTeam, but as a temporary administrative assistant, I could not have chosen a better agency! This La Jolla branch is fantastic. I could absolutely gush about Steffany, Will, and Elizabeth. Let me give it a try: From the beginning, Steffany, the Division Director, gave me all of the warmth, attention, and jobs I didn't know I wanted. Very responsive, efficient, and attentive to my career aspirations and requirements. Over the nine months that I worked with OfficeTeam, I grew to trust her judgment and professional opinions on available positions around the county. I got to work at companies large and small, close and far away, and in a variety of industries. My absolute favorites were a small CPA firm and a large tech giant--I established great connections there. Invaluable. While I am certainly glad to have moved onto a permanent, full time position, I miss working with Steffany and her wonderful team! Thanks for everything, Steffany! And a shout-out to Will and Elizabeth--y'all were beyond wonderful to me as well. Here is something negative to note, which doesn't relate directly to my experience and thus does not change my rating: I encouraged my brother to join (which was a miracle in and of itself), he had the requisite Skype conversation, and then.....nada. While it is true that my brother gave them a near-impossible task (no phones, no people), I was disappointed that they did not reach out to him after that initial conversation to explain that they were still looking. And I know there are data entry or envelope stuffing jobs out there--I did one! So, while I can speak nothing but positives about Steffany, Elizabeth, and Will, I cannot speak about one of their junior colleagues, who let my brother slip through the cracks. But all in all? Be good to them, because they're going to be good to you. read more

Very disappointed with this branch! I recommended a friend here and they threatened to end her assignment because I did not complete the referral verification that they never even sent to me. There are way better agencies out there to help you out without being disruptive during your working hours and will provide you with appropriate documents before hand. Hopefully they won't let her go with this review but that will just show what kind of company they truly are if they do. Not a fan at all. I will never recommend or use them again. read more

Although I am not currently employed by Officeteam my experience with them was outstanding. I was lucky enough to get partnered with Steffany and her team and they are just simply amazing. Unlike a couple of other agencies that I worked with they never left me in the dark about any available opportunities. Steffany, Martin, and Elizabeth always kept me updated on new openings and always followed up with feedback in a timely manner. As someone with a sales and customer service background, these girls are top notch and I was nothing less than impressed. I would definitely recommend anyone that is looking for employment to work with these girls! read more

I was contacted by a rep and worked with rh to get hired on. Laura was quick about getting me the interview, a few things that irked me was that she did not retain my resume and I had to give her information I already submitted to her. They completely botched the contacting of my references as they seemed to only contact 1 and I got an email that my reference doesn't know me. Once I thought we had everything squared away I got a call from my recruiter wanting a reference from me about me? Apparently she mixed up the phone numbers. Highly unprofessional! They were fast folks, but the way they went about contacting references left a lot to be desired. read more

I am having a really fantastic experience with OfficeTeam La Jolla. Lance and Darielle found work for me right away. They have never made me feel like I am "just a temp" and have taken my concerns about certain assignments seriously. Lance and Darielle worked hard to find a good fit for me and I really appreciate all the help. I look forward to continuing to work with them. A quick review of OfficeTeam in general: I worked for OfficeTeam in San Francisco about 2-3 years ago, I love that they have now updated their time sheet system to be all online. No more worrying about getting signatures or faxing! Huge bonus! read more

Excellent experience. I reached out and got scheduled a meeting with Milan, a recruiter in less than a week. When I came to the office he saw me quickly and went over my resume and asked some questions about my previous experience. Afterwards I took a few online tests to prove my knowledge. Within a week or two I was contacted about an assignment starting the very next day. Once I started work they were great about checking in regularly. Besides the friendly, professional, efficient interactions I also appreciated the technologies they use which make the whole on-boarding process very simple and efficient. I'd recommend anyone who needs to find work in San Diego to give them a call. read more

I'm a creative professional (content writer) who has been working with this office of The Creative Group for the past two years. Throughout much of my experience with this office of TCG, I've been quite impressed - particularly with Sam Fortenberry and Nicole Chamberlin. They're both very hard-working, straightforward and professional. Nicole found me a few solid part-time clients, and helped facilitate some strong new working relationships. Sam set me up with a few interviews that didn't ultimately pan out, but he did a great job handling his side of the street. They're both very good at their jobs, and a pleasure to deal with. Elaine Buhler up in the TCG Irvine office is also wonderful to work with and know. As is a guy there named Mun...although I'm not sure if he's still around those parts or not. If you're a creative professional in Southern California, check these guys out. They do good work and might be of assistance to your career. read more

As a candidate, my experience with Robert Half Technology (specifically lead recruiter Christopher Hutchman, William O'Donovan, and other members of the team as well) has been nothing short of exceptional. Every communication I have ever had with this company has been first rate from start to finish and they have never failed to treat me with the utmost respect and care. Since moving to San Diego approximately a year ago, I have met with a number of recruiting professionals, and have been extremely fortunate to have been successfully placed with a number of high profile government and corporate clients in the greater San Diego area and beyond thanks to Robert Half Technology's sensational La Jolla, CA branch. While I had already possessed a marketable background and exceptional references when they initially called me, my technical experience pertaining to IT specifically had been limited in the sense that I hadn't had many jobs in IT. Although I could do the level 1 desk stuff literally in my sleep, I had barely proven it on paper, with only about eight months as a Help Desk Technician at my community college in Las Vegas, NV under my belt (the rest of my jobs were extremely technical but non-IT so worthless to most potential clients). With little more than an A+ certification and a resume on Dice, it didn't take long before a member of the team (Kevin Tan) reached out to me via phone and email simultaneously. We began corresponding regularly over the next couple days and he had me come in and meet him so that I could take a battery of basic tests, which I performed quite well on. My first contract was a relatively straightforward refresh project for the California Highway Patrol. It only lasted two days, but in my opinion it was enough to get me in the door and prove that I had the chops. The project manager on that subsequently recommended me and I was asked to continue traveling to other CHP departments to continue working (which I had declined even though RHT offered to reimburse me on mileage, a fair deal). Shortly thereafter, I got another phone call from RHT inquiring whether I had any experience with Office 365. Getting to work with experimental new technologies and cloud based stuff was/is a dream come true for an aspiring young geek like me, and a couple weeks later I was working for the San Diego airport on a large migration project. The rest is history. As a result of my experience with Robert Half Tech in La Jolla, I now get phone calls from recruiters left and right. My resume is pretty solid now, and I owe this company a debt of gratitude that can never truly be repaid. I moved to San Diego with nothing but an ultrabook and a couple pairs of Dockers, and struggled just to get gas money for interviews. It wasn't easy. I am 24 years old. While I am not afraid to stress that my resume was already impressive, I moved to San Diego with nothing more than a dream and this company took a chance on me initially. I'd like to think it paid off for both of us. Conclusion: When every other recruiter and staffing agency in town had me coming in for multiple interviews before they even shopped me out to a client, editing my resume without my permission, and making me wait weeks to get a call back... Robert Half Technology in La Jolla, CA put me to work. From the moment they found me on Dice I have never been unemployed for more than a couple weeks unless it was by choice. Christopher Hutchman and William O'Donovan especially understand the importance of creating a positive candidate experience, which I can't say is true for other companies. I can only imagine the experience on the other side of the table (clients) has been equally extraordinary, or else they would not be calling me with offers for interviews almost every week. These guys work with some cool companies too. And even when things in my personal life had gone awry and I am unable to answer the phone consistently, I could always count on Mr. Hutchman to leave me a voicemail and follow up with me consistently. As he has said to me many times, RHT is only as good as their candidates. And as I have told him, they need to rename this company Christopher Hutchman Technology. I have not met Mr. Robert Half personally, although I am sure he is a talented and competent individual based on my experiences with the members of his organization that I have had the pleasure of working with. Candidates: Meet with other recruiters, I have had the pleasure of meeting many exceptional individuals in this field and the reality is that only a small percentage of clients they meet will ultimately get placed. That's the business. But if you can only pick one... RHT for life. Although I am not a recruiter and admittedly only have a year under my belt (in IT), I can assure you that this company brings a LOT to the table, including a new sheen of consummate professionalism that is unparalleled in this field. Of course, I am biased to say the leas read more

I have been signed up with The Creative Group for several years now. Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working with some excellent, professional and resourceful agents -- Elaine Buhler, Laura Volpe and Josh Henry, to name a few. All of them seem genuinely concerned about getting me placed, and each has taken the time to get to know me and my capabilities. In the last year, Josh has kept me steadily employed at a great assignment that was a perfect match for me. That assignment has ended, but I'm confident that TCG will get me placed again as soon as possible. Josh Henry has really taken the time and effort to get to know me. He has also given me advice about how to market myself. When he has an assignment lead for me, he always gives me as much information as possible up front. This allows me to prepare for the interview and edit my resume and portfolio accordingly. I recommend them highly, if you're looking for an agency to help you find projects and assignments, and help you improve your career. read more

So this is an update to my previous review. So I thought I would be working with ATT but was told they were still awaiting funding of their contract and couldn't give us a start date. It was pretty disappointing so I asked Molly Benjamin to continue looking for jobs. I usually work as a network admin but didn't mind "stepping down" to a help desk type of position or even a short 3 month contract just to get me back to making money in my field. Well she got me set up to start working very quickly, in fact I got a call late at night telling me if I was available to start work the next morning. Amazingly enough the job pays pretty good for the type of work I'm doing and it's fairly close by as well. The whole process has been smooth and I look forward to working with her again in the future. Highly recommend! read more

Accountemps is a great organization who are always working to place you exactly where you need to be. It's been said, and I'll say it again: they are great at communicating. The feeling is nothing short of satisfying when any member of the team returns your call right away, leaves you a message, and follows up with you to check on how you are doing. They work hard at getting you work. It shows in everything that they do. Their commitment and professionalism really shines. I guarantee it. read more

"Buyer beware!" RHT has two divisions, one that deals with permanent placing while the other one deals with consulting/temp placement. Although I have not been able to get a job thru RHT, their permanent placing side is a pleasure to work with. They keep you up to date on everything from the start of an interview all the way to the actual decision. However the consulting temp placement arm of the company is a different story. Case in point. I used RHT to land me an opportunity with one of their clients who by all accounts was very interested in me. The whole interview process went so well that I was able to convince their client to hire me directly and just pay RHT a placing fee for their troubles. What happened next was not something I was prepared for. My recruiter ended up convincing their client to not hire me directly and just bring me on board as a Temp-to-Hire employee for 6 months. They then proceeded to negotiate my salary (downward) from my asking rate to $10 an hour less. And then to cap things off, promised me that everything was good and that the job was mine for a whole week only to call me at the end of the week (Friday before I report to work the following week) that the job was off the table. Apparently someone in their firm jumped the gun when in fact there was never really an offer letter to begin with. I ended up losing the opportunity and unemployed after my previous company closed shop and went belly up. But I don't blame RHT as a whole, just my recruiter in particular for not handling my opportunity well. read more

I am in the process of changing careers and going back to school. I wanted to find employment so that I could still feel like a contributing member of the workforce. I was specifically provided a person's name by my husband's boss who I quote stated he had the ability to place those that are difficult to place (i.e. Square peg into round hole). After several attempts to connect and was told that I should have been receiving job postings (my husband's boss even reached out to them again on my behalf and she personally uses this company for her department needs) I am no further along with their assistance.
