Verbally harassing from the manager Joe. He misinterpreted my text and was not clear on how long or what I need to do on my own. Only talking about what he can provide. Fair but what's NOT FAIR- iss when he gives the employee hopes to get back on their feet within TWO WEEEKS and I had been out of a job over TWO months. I was stern as I rightfully was but he actually ABRASIVELY BLEW UP ON ME, BECOMING DEFENSIVE AND VERBALLY HARRASSED ME THAT SPARKED UP MY PTSD FROM YEARS OF BEING BULLIED. I can't work for a man child who's a bully at heart and defensive, interrupting me and NOT GIVING ME A CHANCE TO EXPLAIN MY TEXT. THIS PLACE SHOULD GO OUT OF BUSINESS FOR SOMETHING WAY BETTER than him. read more

I recently had the pleasure of working with Sarah Stebenne as my recruiter for what I can only describe as my dream role at my dream organization. I had not known the position was open and Sarah knew immediately after our first conversation that I would be a great fit functionally and that I would be a great fit for the organizations culture as well! She was absolutely right, and her intuition for placing candidates is impeccable. In addition to her placing me in a role that was a perfect fit, she was incredibly communicative, easy to get ahold of, and went above and beyond every step of the way. She kept me informed of each step during the interview process and made sure I was comfortable throughout. She advocated for my compensation fairly and I ended up being extended an amazing offer after 3 rounds of successful interviews. Did I mention this was all done between thanksgiving and Christmas? She is so fast and efficient! I would not be working my dream job right now if it weren't for Sarah and I am forever grateful! Thank you eastridge and Sarah! read more

A few years ago, Abigail Parente sent me to a job interview at a law firm without interviewing me in person, and then she expected me to lie about it. At the job interview, I was asked how I had met the recruiter and when I disclosed that I was approached and interviewed online, HR seemed annoyed. Long story short, the partner at the law firm told me that I was overqualified for the job. What was shocking to me was that the recruiter called me over the phone to scold and belittle me about my honesty during the job interview. She was the one who had put me in that uncomfortable position infront of HR because she was too lazy to Interview me in person. I even offered to meet with her, but she didn't want to. I am just posting this review now because I don't need a job anymore. So, I am not afraid of her bullying me or affecting any of my future job interviews. read more

This company is unprofessional and lack customer service. They have no commitment to follow through and should be extremely concerned about the standards of their recruiters. I had a Carlos contact me relentlessly about an opportunity and so I found time to speak with him. After the conversation, he wanted to move me on to next steps and asked me to send him my availability for the rest of the week. He assured me that he would get back to me the next day or by end of the week. When that didn't happen, I reached out to him and he said he was speaking with the client later that day and would have an answer for me about the specifics of the next interview but it's been 4 days now and I haven't heard from him and he hasn't responded to my email or my texts! No update or attempt at a professional courtesy response, updating me on the situation. Just a waste of time and a false hope of consideration for an employment opportunity! If looking for a job wasn't hard enough, you now get to have mind games played on you and put on an emotional rollercoaster only to be ghosted! This company has zero integrity and their clients should know how they treat their potential employees. Giving them 1 star is even 1 too many! read more

My experience with Eastridge Workforce was professional, detailed, and they always had my career interest and finding a new job a top priority. From the start of my job search to receiving an offer I was updated weekly, advised of the next steps, prepared for the interviews in advance, and given opportunities to ask questions regarding my job search. I would recommend Eastridge Workforce for help in finding your next career opportunity and big "Thank You" to Rio who helped me from start to finish. read more

For workers, temping can be the difference between getting by and not and in reality, no job is permanent or secure, especially in construction. When I get days off or laid off my first call is to Moises Hernandez at Eastridge Workforce Solutions. Their client base consist of many local, reputable businesses with many positions to fill. In most cases I get work when needed, even with last minute notification some time. Moises uses his resources to get good workers work. I've had experience with a few other agencies in the past and Eastridge is the only number saved in my phone. I highly recommend Eastridge for those seeking employment. Although temporary, it is employment plus they want you to land the job and will do its best working with you, to help show you are a good fit for the job and the company culture. Thanks read more

One swing, "homerun" with Rio and Eastridge! I had been hunting for a job on my own for a month with very little success... But then I met a woman named Rio from Eastridge, and she basically took me under her wing and showed me the ins and outs of interviewing. She met me for coffee and we talked like we were old friends and that conversation made me feel like I could take on any interview. I feel like I aced my interview because of her guidance. I am forever grateful as I secured the position that we lined up for. Feeling a little lost in your job search? Give Eastridge a try and look up Rio if possible. Just simply a wonderful human being and skilled beyond expectations and for a company to have her as an employee, well consider yourselves very lucky. I'm currently in the onboarding process and everything is going smoothly. Highly recommend Eastridge read more

Just another temp agency placing ads to suck people in. A recruiter for them called me, I took the time to go and meet with her. What a total waste of time and gas. She looked at me like I had leprosy ( I am an older worker) and spent 10 minutes with me and then pronounced "I have nothing for you." Never once looked at my resume or engaged me in any way, shape or form. The way you treat people will one day come back to you, it is called "Karma", Stay away from this place. read more

A waste of my time. Unprofessional. I would leave several messages for my recruiter Mary and it would take her several days to call me back. I was offered a job at UCSD then I didn't hear back from my recruiter for several days. When she finally did call she said there were no more positions left at UCSD and that she didn't have anything else to offer me at that time. Never heard from her again. This not the way to treat clients. P.S. it's easy to have 5 stars when you only have 5 reviews. Don't let this fool you. They lack organization and professionalism! read more

Eastridge is an incredible company to work for. I originally approached Eastridge as a candidate looking for assistance with job placement and was referred through a friend who had partnered with their Legal division. The Branch Manager I reached out to, Cassie Galiskis, responded to me immediately and brought me in for an interview. She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. While I was interviewing, Cassie introduced me to a Direct Hire Recruiter in Eastridge's Administrative division who asked me what my career goals and aspirations were. As I explained to her what I most loved about my former roles, and what my dream job would look like, she asked if I had ever considered recruiting. It sounded like it would be a great fit. I was brought on as an internal employee to Eastridge, beginning as an Account Manager in the Healthcare Division. On day one, I was greeted by the entire branch with love, support, and the tools that I needed to succeed. I was trained by Mary McIntosh, who works as hard at supporting her clients and candidates as she does at making new employees at Eastridge feel welcomed. During my training period, Mary was constantly in contact with candidates and clients. I was amazed at the volume Mary was able to keep up with at her desk. My manager, Maria Arellano, was equally welcoming and helpful. I had never felt so genuinely received on a first day in my entire career. I later transitioned to the Direct Hire team in our Administrative Division, which I absolutely love. I am privileged to work with a very dedicated and encouraging manager, Kristin Carpenter, and equally amazing team members. Every employee at Eastridge that I have met and work with embodies the company's core values of integrity, commitment, communication, and creativity. I feel valued and full of purpose. Most importantly, I look forward to coming to work every single day. I love the interactions I have with clients and candidates. Eastridge recently launched a mentorship program which will only further enable me to grow and thrive. I can't wait to see where my career with Eastridge goes. The employees are given the opportunity to grow and are nurtured based on their individual strengths. It is definitely a freedom-centered place to work, and I love it! I hope you get to know and love Eastridge as much as I do. read more

I was referred to Eastridge by a trusted colleague since I was looking for high-level accounting work specifically within the legal industry. I know these positions are usually few and far between, but I was quickly contacted by Lauren Johnston, who happened to have a current position that fit my background perfectly. I was working at another company, but wanted to get back to the legal industry where the vast majority of my experience has been, so Lauren totally worked with me and was willing to do a telephone interview and set up an interview with the law firm at a time that was convenient for me. Lauren thoroughly explained the job description and the situation at the firm, that they had been growing rapidly, and let me know she had placed several people there already that absolutely loved working there. This was especially important to me, as I would be quitting the job I was currently in for this new position. After interviewing with several people at the law firm, I was offered the job the same day, and gave my notice to my former employer. I can not say enough about how Lauren made the whole process seamless. She patiently answered all my questions, always made herself available by email, phone and even text, and followed up with me weekly to make sure things were going well. It is a pleasure dealing with Eastridge as they are extremely reputable and I honestly feel like they care about both their clients and their candidates. Lauren is a true professional. She completely understood the level and type of position I was looking for, but also wanted to make sure I had the skills the firm needed. I would highly recommend Eastridge to anyone either needing temporary or permanent help, or to candidates looking for work. Eastridge definitely does their homework as far as vetting candidates for employers, and they also care about putting applicants in appropriate positions where they will succeed. read more

Eastridge is an amazing company that truly values it's employees, customers and clients. I was originally reached out to by Heather Wray who was looking for a recent college graduate to fill a Jr. Recruiter role. I was extremely interested in HR/Recruiting and immediately jumped at the opportunity. I interviewed both with Heather Wray and Kristin Carpenter who shared their background and their passion for Eastridge and I instantly knew that this was the place for me. Even as a new employee I was welcomed into the company with open arms and felt completely at home. I worked with Heather Wray for the first 5 months at Eastridge and learned the ins and outs of the company. It was extremely refreshing and reassuring to see that Heather had been with the company for over 15 years and still loves it just as much as she did when she started. The company values really shine through each employee as everyone is so passionate about what they do here. The company also heavily values growth of it's employees and I was shown this when I was promoted in 5 months. I currently work on the Administrative team with Kristin Carpenter who has proven to be a devoted manager to Eastridge and a great mentor to me. Overall, my experience at Eastridge has been extremely gratifying and positive and I have heard nothing but great things from the clients and candidates that we help on a daily basis. I can't wait to grow with this company and see what the future holds for us. read more

Hands down one of the best agencies for recruiting. I've had my fair share with other recruiting agencies. Many of which ignore you or just stop keeping in contact with you after a brief period. Definitely not the case here, I was introduced to Seth Gravin one of the recruiters there and I was not disappointed, he was very relaxed and kind with his help and service. He always kept in touch with me and constantly looked and encouraged me to apply to companies that seemed like a potential. He listened and knew what my strengths and weaknesses were and called and prepped me before every interview and made me feel at ease. I ended up landing a very nice job with a respectable company thanks to Seth. Definitely one of the most helpful agencies I've known thus far. read more

I was hired by a local firm! Thankful for Eastridge!! Their legal recruitment team is diligent, professional, and helped me find exactly the type of role I was looking for. Anyone familiar with San Diego knows the legal market is very competitive and a small community. Eastridge was able to place into a role wiithin days of meeting with Jami Bouras and Maddison Shannon of their legal recruitment division. We discussed my needs, they were able to identity my strength and suggested several placement options. By the end of our meeting they made me feel confident I would secure a position but, were also transparent. I made the right decision working them. Jami presented my strengths to each potential employer and Maddison was very responsive to any of my questions or concerns. I would not hesitate to use them in the future. read more

Eastridge is by far the best recruiting firm. Jennah and Rio are great and I would highly recommend Eastridge! Interview prep, you name it. A wonderful experience that is unrivaled in my history of dealing with recruiters. read more

I worked with Seth and Eastridge while I was looking for a new place to work last summer. After applying for one of their postings, Seth reached out to me about getting me a job. We talked about my background, my career aspirations, and what a good fit would be for me. He helped me apply to a handful of jobs and eventually we found a temporary position that fit my qualifications. He was very understanding and easy to talk to through this whole process. Eventually this position converted me to a permanent employee and I'm so grateful. Without Eastridge and Seth, I would probably still be looking. I had a negative view of employment agencies prior to this process as I would have preferred to have dealt with an employer directly. But going forward if I am ever looking for a job, I am definitely calling them first. read more

Why doesn't yelp give the option of zero stars?!? After being sexually harassed at my assignment I was told I was no longer needed after 4 days. The assignment was supposed to be 1- 1 1/2 months. I informed Eastridge (Sean Harper) who seemed very concerned about my situation and said he would pass on the information to Abigail and Diondra. I have not heard from either of them. Meant to write this review a month ago but I got time now, the desk guy was very snobby ! I got an akward vibe from him as soon as I walked in the door. he seemed uninterested to attend me even though the waiting area was EMPTY. He made ZERO eyecontact while talking to me. Then after my interview I said thank you as I was walking out and he gave me a dirty look and said Nothing back. LMAO I didnt take it too personal cause I was looking forward to a fat joint I had waiting for me in my car :) My advice is to just look for a job on indeed or anyother jobsite. The ppl who work at this agency dont know a thing about customer service. they just look forward to the comission they'll be getting off of you once you start working with the companies that reach out to them for job recruiting. read more

I worked for Eastridge for over 6 months and got hired by their client. Great staffing agency to work for. Highly recommended!

I worked a 3 day convention in SF, there was training the day prior to the start of it. I contracted with Eastridge through another agency. The location of our training changed without notification, so a lot of workers came early but sat and waited in the initial meeting place. I can only guess that there were a lot of moving pieces, but it was extremely disorganized. All of that aside, my negative experience was as a result of my assigned supervisor. I was assigned to his area the first day of the convention vs. during training, so I didn't receive any instructions on what I would actually be doing once I got to that area. When I found him, he was very short with me. This was my experience with him throughout the 3 days even though I showed up early each day, returned from breaks on time, and did my work well. His instructions were not clear, and when I would ask him any questions (because I hadn't received training like those that were pre-assigned may have) or even when I told him I didn't know what I was supposed to be doing, he would completely ignore what I said and say "please go to your post. Please." Sounds harmless until one considers the fact that he hadn't assigned me to a specific area, and that this was before I received any instruction on what constituted as "a post." Fortunately the other workers were helpful in helping me figure out what my role was, which turned out to be very simple. Really nice workers, but the supervisor was rude to me for no apparent reason from the moment that I encountered him, and was not willing to listen long enough to hear that I was willing to work, but was never briefed on what the expectations of my role were. I would not recommend this agency based on my experience with them. read more

After coming across a negative review written about one of this branch's employees, I felt compelled to write this quick review. I worked for Eastridge for exactly one year and before I left, the one person who remained a constant source of encouragement and helped to develop me both professionally and personally was Kristin Carpenter. Kristin was my manager for about 3 months before she was promoted and moved offices, however those 80+ miles did nothing to stop her from taking copious amounts of time out of her busy schedule to make sure I was doing well. She was always available to answer any questions I had, offer advice, and provide solutions to problems I could not have even begun to solve by myself. The amount of people I had to disappoint with the news that "Kristin no longer works in our office" was never ending, as Kristin leaves such a lasting impression that it is extremely difficult to imagine having to accomplish any task without her. She is kind, personable, organized, intelligent, and someone whose dedication toward her work is unmatched by anyone I have ever seen. She is an excellent employee and an even better manager and I cannot wait to see where her career takes her next. Thanks for pushing me to be my best self, Kristin, you rule! read more

I recently had the pleasure working with Eastridge workforce solutions, specificly Mike Dilman and Rio Wagner. Mike essentially parted the proverbial Red Sea of disaster jobs, and set me up with an outstanding opertunity at an amazing institution. Not only did he work with me on prepareing for interviews and other things to make me stand out. But actually worked with the institution itself by suggesting they broden their search to include transitioning military folks like myself.
