I've worked with VIA Technical since 2014, and since then, they have never failed to find me the most prestigious roles with the most reputable companies in San Diego. When I was in need of hiring technical staff, VIA was there to provide the best candidates, as well. I've worked directly with Chris, Amanda, Jessica, and now Natalie, all of which exhibit the utmost in professionalism, yet never fail to greet you by your first name and with a smile. I can't possibly speak more highly of VIA Technical and their services. I will forever be in their debt. Thank you to such an incredible team! read more

I've worked with VIA as a 1099 contractor since 2018, totalling three years between two jobs. They are by far the best employment agency I have ever worked with, and I have worked with many during my 30-year career. They are very personable and friendly, especially the CEO, Natalie Viani, and my recruiter, Jessica Bailey. They are also very professional and efficient. They pay me weekly. Total time between invoicing and electronic payment is 11 days. They have never been late. Once, I forgot to invoice for one week, and I didn't realize it until the following Monday. I sent the invoice then and told them I didn't expect payment until the following week, but they paid me that Friday, just four days later! That is outstanding service! Their recruiters are very good too. They have never wasted my time by contacting me about positions that aren't a good match for me, and they helped me get two of the best jobs I've had. I can't recommend VIA too highly. You won't regret working with them. read more

Via reached out to me and within two weeks I was working a new job, making more money, and enjoying the work more. Going into contract work was new and initially scary, but now having done it with Via, I would recommend it! Special shout out to Amanda and Angel. read more

Very friendly and responsive. Great thanks to my recruiter, Jessica. Enjoyed time working there.

Working with Laura was great, she helped me prepare for my interviews and gave me tips and feedback that proved to be invaluable and help me land the job. Would work with VIA Technical again in a heartbeat. read more

Everyone on the VIA Technical team are a pleasure to work with, especially Griffin, Alissa, Angel, Justin, and Kelly. Will definitely be working with them again during my next job hunt. read more

I've worked with Jessica and the team at VIA Technical on both ends -- as a contractor and as hiring manager -- and they're as good as it gets! They have excellent, vetted talent available, reasonable rates, and they do an awesome job finding individuals with both the skill set and the culture fit you need. Very happy to recommend them as a dependable resource and staffing partner! read more

It was a pleasure working for VIA Technical, especially with Jessica and Haley as they make the entire process easy to work with. I was able to get an interview right away with a great company and will be converted tomorrow as an FTE. I would highly recommend this company to whoever is looking for work. read more

It was an absolute joy working with Natalie! She got me placed in FinTech as a Software Engineer II. She was my first recruiter experience for a reason (I've ignored probably 100 recruiters before her). If I ever need a recruiter again, or have any friends that need one I will 120% go to her again. read more

Was great working with Jessica Bailey. Had troubled and great opportunities with Jessica which we both worked through together. That's what I would want in a reliable recruiter. Always on top of the next opportunity which helped me out a ton on finding open positions. read more

VIA Technical is the best agency I've worked with. Having been both an applicant and a hiring manager, I can tell you that VIA nails technical recruiting. How? Transparency between the candidate and client. From the initial call to signing the offer letter, VIA is set on finding the right match. I worked with Maya Kumar to join a company I'm exhilarated to walk into every day. She relocated me from Chicago to sunny San Diego on a timeline I was comfortable with all the while accommodating my vacation schedule. Right now as I'm writing this review, an architect on my team stopped by to share his experience with VIA. If you're a senior engineer, go with VIA, ask for Maya, don't chance it. read more

Ever worked with a recruiting agency that sends jobs opportunities that have nothing to do with your background? If you're a business, have you ever had a recruiter call you 10x times a week attempting to drop donuts at your office and "learn more about you?"- That's because you have a bunch of college kids at their first job out of school being told this is the way to build a book of business. This is not VIA. VIA has worked diligently over the past 17 years to be a true business partner in the staff aug/recruiting industry. Their recruiters are seasoned vets who have been building their networks in San Diego for 10+ years and have relationships with not only the top talent in the industry, but also some of the top companies (both large and small) in San Diego. Anyone who understands recruiting knows that it's all about the strength of the relationships you build that make you successful in this industry, and VIA dominates this. VIA is a true business partner, not some last ditch resource you use to fill a vacancy. If you're looking to partner with the best of the best in tech recruiting in SD - choose VIA. read more

By far the best! With over 20 years in IT and previous placements by several recruitment firms, I can say with confidence that Natalie and the team at Via Technical are the best. Jessica (my point of contact) and Natalie's professionalism, character, and influence secured my position in an extremely competitive job space with highly qualified candidates. I truly believe it was their reputation that brought this one home! read more

As a hiring manager, I am often working with recruiters to staff my engineering teams. This can be a daunting process that usually keeps me up at night. One of the main complexities is navigating through the mass of resumes that get submitted in bulk but without the true care and attention to our exact needs that I would expect. I can safely say that I have had the exact opposite of this when working with Alissa and the entire team at VIA Technical. They not only came on site multiple times but were constantly checking in on any changes in requirements so that we were getting the RIGHT resumes at the RIGHT time. This saves us not only money but unneeded stress. Alissa has taken a part of my job that I dread and helped me like it again. In a high volume hiring scenario, I would highly recommend the team at VIA Technical to help you meet your needs. Thanks a lot, Alissa, Natalie, and Jessica for making my life easier. read more

Thanks to Alissa at VIA, I've been working with a really great team during this pandemic. She really helped me through the hiring process and has checked up on me to make sure I'm doing well as time goes by. Amy, the HR Coordinator has also shown that she's ready to help whenever needed. She always answers her emails quickly and makes the paperwork portion of hiring as easy as possible. Finding a good staffing agency (especially in San Diego) can be bit difficult to come by but I'm glad I got in touch with Alissa at this one because this team made the process easy and seamless. They helped me land a great temporary opportunity and I'm thankful for all their help thus far. read more

Generally I don't leave reviews but I read the other reviews: I'm sorry but another person that is posting negatively about Alissa is completely incorrect. Alissa went out of her way to make sure that everything was perfect. I can't imagine that she would act that way toward anyone and unfortunately that person was angry and had an unfortunately situation with a Via Technical client but how can you take that out on a recruiter? That isn't right. Anyway, a staffing agency that cares about what you are looking for! They take the time to find out what you care about and what you are looking for in a job then work with companies to ensure it's the right fit! Everything is transparent and straightforward and want you to get in a job and succeed. I was placed as a contract-to-hire and even after I stopped the contract I needed some tax information, they got back to me within minutes of emailing them. Great interaction with them anytime because they know you as a person and not just a placement for a job. read more

I have been working with the OST team for nearly a year now, from both sides of the table. As technical recruiters, they are one of the best companies I have had the pleasure of working with in my 15+ years in the IT field. Unlike other firms, Natalie and her team took the time to understand my complete needs, both from a technical aspect as well as team synergy, which I find almost equally important when hiring both full time and contract workers. They only send me qualified candidates, and then constantly follow up to make sure I'm satisfied with my choices. On the other side of the table, I've sent OST several highly motivated candidates for them to represent. Again, OST took the time to understand what their individual needs were as far as careers and corporate cultures were. Needless to say, OST landed each of my candidates with the jobs of their dreams. I can't say enough about Natalie, JoAnna, Steve, Joyce and the rest of the OST team. I'll definitely continue to use them for future technical resources! read more

The staff at VIA Technical are efficient, professional and quick to notify of any positions that match the job-seeker's skill set. If any of you are looking for work in the tech industry, I highly recommend VIA Technical's services. I especially would like to thank Kristin Kovaleski in this agency with helping me get the job I've been after all year. I worked with her since April and she really went out of her way to get me the job I have now. Throughout the year, she kept me up to date on all opportunities I was interested in, provided great interview tips and was responsive to any questions I had. read more

With lots of agencies and so much need, it's easy to be approached by a boiler room jersey firm. The guys at via are top recruiters that do their homework and aren't some word match wannabe. Best recruiting agency I have ever had the pleasure of working with. As a cloud consultant, they were able to get me into my favorite job yet. During my contract I was able to get all the help I needed from staff and the office manager, enroll in benefits with ease and be up to date with everything in regards to my position. Working with Jessica/Renata/Natalie has been a pleasure and I would highly recommend this agency for any tech professionals while looking for a new gig! read more

I have been working in the IT field for over 17 years. In that time I have worked with a lot of recruiters. Some good, some bad. Outsource Technical is without a doubt the best one I have ever worked with. I have landed two positions working with them and both have been excellent fits. Most recently, I worked with Kathleen, who is absolutely amazing. She responds quickly to emails and phone calls, and works diligently to ensure you are taken care of from the initial phone screen to the job offer and beyond. I just can't say enough good things about her. If you are in the market, I highly recommend Outsource Technical. You simply can't do better. read more

For the past couple of months, Jessica of outsource has reached out far and beyond for me. She's very personable and has helped me tremendously on leads, tips and recommendations for job enhancement. I remember doing a post interview meeting with her and the vibe and conversation was phenomenal. Not once did she make me feel uncomfortable. She's also introduced me to Kathleen, another great representative of Outsource. I highly recommend both Jessica and Kathleen. Awesome job!! read more

I am a senior-level developer that was placed by OT. Jessica & Natalie went above and beyond to ensure that my placement needs were met from all angles. It's my belief they both have a good balance of professionalism, recruiting expertise, empathy and tenacity that allows them to meet the needs of both the hiring and hired parties. Technical recruiting overall can get a bad rap due to template-based mass emails, lack of knowledge, lack of professionalism et al but this team isn't like that. Also, in-house recruiting has its flaws as well. I'll remember OT for their help for quite some time. read more

It's been great working with Amy and Jessica. They helped me find exactly what I was looking for, and it matched my needs perfectly. They're both very chill and down to earth which makes them very cool to work with. I'd highly recommend them for anyone looking for a position. read more

Recruiter Jessica Bailey is very attentive and through in terms of requirements and knowing the clients plus getting interview quick enough

VIA Technical are awesome to work with. Not just another recruiting agency. After meeting with them initially, they knew immediately that I would be a perfect fit for a position at a great company. Abby was tasked with finding me a position and she did an AMAZING job. She kept in close touch with me every single step of the way. She landed me an interview, then another, then another, and then she finally got me the job! She answered my questions promptly through email, phone calls, and texts! Since I am in the Tech industry, my phone rings off the hook hour after hour, recruiter after recruiter. I've worked with literally HUNDREDS of recruiters. She was very professional, friendly, and down to earth -- and out of the hundreds of recruiters, she is hands down the best I've worked with! Seriously!!! Go with VIA! read more

It was great working with Jess at Via. She was knowledgeable and very effective! She was able to quickly set up two interviews with two great software companies, and soon I had the offer I wanted. Thanks ! read more

I have worked with Angelo Cuneo since 1991. I can honestly say from a consultants perspective he provides the best service in the business. Outsource Technical excels in locating the best fit for your skill set. I have worked on numerous contracts for them and I have also seen that they do an excellent job for their customers who are looking for quality people to fill their requirements. One of things I missed most from the time I spent in New York was the quality of service. The service was so good in some cases I established long term business relationships and friendships there. Outsource Technical is the only company I have worked with here in California with similar service standards. John Emerson read more

I am extremely happy to have worked with my awesome recruiter. Jessica is honest, knowledgeable, welcoming and I would still be searching for work if it weren't for her. I appreciated the constant communication. She gave me the confidence I needed to secure my new position. I was treated with impeccable professionalism, respect and compassion. Outsource Technical service exceeded my expectations! Thanks to Jessica, Niobe and Eric. They are supportive, responsive and dependable. VIA was a pleasure to work with. Jessica and the team were completely transparent from the very start and everything that they told me during the hiring process was 100% accurate. I did a 5-month contract-to-hire and the transition was seamless. During the contract period they were always quick to respond to any questions about payroll, benefits, etc. (Thanks Amy!) Absolutely no problems whatsoever. Would definitely work with them again and recommend to a friend. read more

I recently worked with VIA to land a position at a local company and had a great experience. Throughout the entire process, I worked with my recruiter, Maya, who was great. Throughout the info and interview stages, she was very informative on the process and the company, and was very easy to contact with any questions. Once we moved to the offer stage, there were some difficulties in the process and timing which she was on top off and helped get everything resolved quickly so I could accept the offer. She reached out on a near daily basis with updates and to answer any questions, and was always friendly and upbeat. I would definitely work with Maya and VIA again in the future. read more

Like any other professional on LinkedIn, I'm always skeptical when I receive a message about an "exciting new job offer" from a recruiter. I usually just delete and move on, for a variety of reasons (requires relocation, salary is unsatisfactory, the job is clearly not a good fit and that would have been obvious if the recruiter had even glanced at my profile). But when I received a message from Sophia at Via about a solid International company, based in the town where I live, with great perks and a vibrant office culture, and most importantly a job description that actually fit my skill set to a t, I decided to follow up. I messaged Sophia back and essentially said that I didn't want to waste her time or my own by discussing a position that was paying less than $x amount. She immediately replied and said that they could provide well above that amount and asked if I'd like to hear more (and it wasn't an empty promise). After just a few phone calls and emails, I had an interview with the company. With some excellent interview prep (thanks to Sophia), I made a great first impression and received an offer in less than a week. I couldn't be happier with the position she found for me and I would highly recommend her and Via Technical to anyone in search of a job that truly fits their preferences. Keep up the great work! read more

I've worked with plenty of agencies in San Diego and Outsource Technical is one of the top tier tech recruiting agencies. They realize a good opportunity and or bad situation. Outsource Technical is quick to identify both and address them appropriately. Their employees are very accessible and personable individuals that let their actions rather than some corny rehearsed speech do the talking. I recommend this recruiting agency to anyone looking for temporary and FT employment in the tech related industry. read more

Kathleen from Outsource Technical is amazing. Our company was in a pinch for a highly skilled backend developer. We posted multiple job postings with limited success. One phone call to Kathleen and she was able to hand pick a candidate the fit the bill so perfectly that we extended an offer the same day! 1 call, 1 interview, 1 hire, 1 day. I highly recommend Kathleen and Outsource Technical -- their talent database, background checks, internal screenings, and quick turnaround times make their services priceless, especially for small and medium size businesses. read more
