I moved to San Diego from New York without any job prospects, and wasn't having much luck on my own (I'm a front-end developer). I think I applied for a job that was actually posted by Creative Circle, and so they contacted me. After a phone chat I came in to meet with one of the recruiters, Aleya, and we really clicked. I've spoken to a few other recruiting agencies before and they pretty much just take my info and I don't really hear from them again or they send me really random job listings. I was able to land a job, a month out of college, with my current company through Creative Circle. Shout outs to my recruiter, Michelle Bravo, for her help on this. I was in a contract-to-hire situation, and my company hired me on full time after a month and a half of freelancing under Creative Circle. Interview process was super easy as well. You meet with the recruiter and tell them your strengths and what kind of work you're looking for and they'll do the heavy lifting of finding work and pitching you as a possible candidate to the hiring manager.
