My last couple of experiences here have been disappointing. During a previous visit, my nails were shaped inconsistently and looked noticeably different from one another. When I pointed it out, my concern didn't feel like it was taken seriously. On this visit, I was asked to pay and select a tip before my services were completed. I later noticed other customers paying after their appointments, so it felt uncomfortable to be asked to follow a different process. Since my manicure was already dry and I was still receiving my pedicure, I would have been perfectly able to pay at the end. I will say that in the past I've had pedicures from the Latina technician, I forgot her name, and her work is exceptional. She is thorough, professional, and gives one of the best pedicures I've had. My gel manicure came out beautifully! Great service for a $30 pedicure + $15 callus treatment (upgrade), and $40 gel manicure. $85 total. It was a hot and humid day, and one of the owners, Michelle, offered me a battery operated hand fan when she noticed I was pregnant since maternity really throws off your hormones levels. I really wanted to ignore the other reviews and try this place out on my own since I'm only a walk away from my apartment, but I don't think I'll be back. If I do come back, it'll only be for a pedicure because that was the only thing that turned out nice and didn't chip. I spent over $107+ for a pedicure and gel extension nails and I'm extremely disappointed in the quality of the gel polish. Within a day my gel chipped off my nails and not even a week later, 3 nails had chips in them. Usually my nails last me for several weeks but now I have to get them redone. read more

I give this salon 1 star....but that's too many. 5 years ago moved around the corner, Changed salons because it was down the block. Became a regular customer with( Lisa the previous owner) over4 years. NEW OWNERSHIP came in about a year ago. Since then the customer service is HORRIBLE . I've been tolerating the rotten attitude from the new owner who does my nails. Shes a Sour Puss and appears angry or unhappy to be there.. I don't like when my nails are filed on the side...... when I reminded her of that request......... She became enraged telling me that my nails are growing crooked and that my nails are difficult to do. Then starts talking to the woman next to her in Korean about me..... complaining clearly..... I don't need to know Korean to understand that. Her tone said everything. My hands have arthritis but that has nothing to do with my nails. How dare she insult me in that way. It took everything in me to sit there through the rest of that. As I got up and paid I told them I would not be back. That she should learn to take constructive criticism. Afterall a customer who's paying for a service has every right to ask for what they need and want. Instead of apologizing for her inappropriate words and attitude..... she began to dismiss me with her hands in my face telling me to go. The woman is a miserable person ....bossy and intimidating. I feel sorry for the girls who work there doing pedicures. (They inherited this new miserable Woman as a boss.) New owners are rude and unfriendly towards customers. Their English is terrible. They use that electric nail filer to the point that your nails burn and you have to pull your hand away for relief. I was putting up with these uncomfortable chairs that make you feel like you're leaning forward...... The television is mounted behind the customers volume so low you can't hear it. There's a nail salon almost every mile apart in this town and in every town surrounding. I don't need them I can go anywhere. They have a lot to learn about customers and customer service. Popped in during the week after working hours. I was referred to this place by a coworker who had a good experience. The place was dead when I arrived. I was taken right away. They had a decent variety of nail polish colors. I paid $15. Not sure if that's their regular manicure fee but I did have gels on when I arrived. Perhaps they charged to remove my gel which I've never been charged for anywhere else. Place was just OK. Definitely Not worth a $15 manicure. The manicurist did an Ok job considering my nails were fugly when I arrived. And I mean pretty bad! My mani, however, is bumpy and not smooth nor shiny. Thankfully I chose a natural color therefore you can barely tell how bad the actual polish looks. Cuticles and all else was fine but unless I'm desperate I do not see myself going back. I do prefer a place that is more aesthetically pleasing and prettier. This place seems a bit rundown but I understand not all businesses can afford to revamp or redecorate. I've been on the hunt for a new nail salon for a while now. I recently moved to Teaneck and saw this salon on a trip through town. The salon was really clean, organized and both women were SO nice! I did not make an appointment, they got me in for a gel mani and pedi quickly. The shop is small (3 mani chairs, 2 pedi chairs) but it had everything you need. Signs around the shop say that they are closed on Sunday's and Mondays. Blanca did both my pedicure and gel manicure and she was meticulous and everything turned out great! Both women were knowledgeable about he products they were using and recommended the perfect polish color for my toes to match my mani. So glad to have found this salon close to home read more

Honestly It wasn't how my nails turned out that was the problem It was the attitude. If you go in for a regular manicure it's really not that complicated but she filed my nails uneven and sideways and I'm telling her to fix It and she's huffing and puffing the whole time. Then I told her to clean the file dirt from under my nails and she goes " you want everything perfect like is your house perfect" like okay ... wildly uncalled for. I don't know I can spend $15 at any other salon and not get crazy attitude and have to coach someone on how to do It the whole time. Lovely little nail salon! Manicurists are very good. Best pedicure I've had in a long time. Nails cut and trimmed beautifully and evenly. I usually get a lavender spa pedicure. Best Nail Salon especially during the Covid pandemic. Small 8 person capacity, temp taken, completely sanitized, forms to fill out in case of breakout for tracing. Lisa runs a great salon, after 4 months of being self quarantined, I needed a mani pedi badly. I did what I could to maintain, just not the same as the professional job by Lisa and her staff.i made my appt for the 1st one of the day, spent that time with only 1 other customer in great conversation and being so pampered. So- I almost never give five stars, but this experience was perfect. I've only been here once. It was 3:30 on a Tuesday. I called around 3pm to see if she'd have time to take me. I got a gel manicure with gel polish on top. Jessie was the woman who did my nails. She was so pleasant. She paid close attention to detail. She didn't hurt me once. Her touch was soft and I felt relaxed. I get my nails done every two weeks. I've been doing that for years. I'm not sure if I just caught this place at the right time, but I am absolutely coming back. She gave me coupons to use in the future and a card. After 10 visits, you get $5 off. This place is very reasonable in price. I called about 7 different places. They were one of the lowest in price. Parking is on the one way street right next door. THIS PLACE SUCKSS!!!!!!! They totally messed up my nails. I have been doing my nails since I was 14 years old , I have NEVER experienced such bad customer service. I called to talk to talk to the manager and they hanged up on me TWICE!! I went back and she told me she cant do anything, her manager had to be here. I went back 3 times and the manager was no where to be found. After finally getting a hold her she basically told me I was lying that the work was great and she will not do anything for me!! They under new management in the past year. This place is great. They do amazing pedicures. And they use a powder instead of gel that last longer and helps your nails grow faster and protects you nail. Wonderful customer service but I recommend calling because they are only two people. read more

I went in 20 mins after they closed because I chipped one of my nails and had a huge party to attend the next day. The lady was extremely patient and put her full effort into my nails even though I would've accepted her half ass-ing it because I'm sure she wanted to go home. I have been in search for a new nail salon. There's Dominican Hair Salon around the corner from this nail salon. I went there on Christmas Eve of 2018 and I found out that the lady that does nails was on vacation. So the owner, who I personally know, told me to stop by Vogue Nails. She stated that she have been there before and the owner does a great job. I ended up going and my manicure gel lasted me almost four weeks. I decided to go again to see if they will duplicate the previous service, which they did. I have been looking for a nail salon that I can call home for a very long time. I do not like bouncing from place to place. I feel I have found my spot and I will go back. Both owner and her staff was amazing. They both took their time on getting the job properly done. They engaged with me throughout the whole time I was there. FYI, they do not have their own parking lot. So you would have to park on the street and it is two hour parking, It is a small location but it feels homey and it is very clean and cute. read more
