I love it here!! I recommend making an appointment because it can get busy. I always ask for Jolie, she's the best and she can ALWAYS squeeze me in. I've been going to her for a year and she always makes me happy!! if you are getting some type of design she can almost always do it, and if she doesn't have the materials or can't do what your asking for some reason, she is honest about it!!! The inside isn't state of the art but it's clean and sanitary. You can't beat a $35 acrylic fill anywhere!! This is my second time here and the customer service isn't necessarily the best. But the nail tech can execute the things you ask for. I didn't get any lotion on my hands this time which is bare minimum but again he will execute the design you want. This was my first pedicure here and it's very subpar there was nothing in the hot water, no blue tablet for sanitary purposes. My opinion might be a bit bias because I've been coming to this place for a long time. I do agree that not ALL the staff here are friendly, the ones I've encounter and know me are usually friendlier. Courtney is my go to girl. She's amazing at manicure/pedicure. With pedicures, she can really get the tough overgrown skin around your big toe. If Courtney isn't there, I'll look for Chloe or Jenna. The color selections have improved a lot. With the addition to Essie and OPI, they have other selections that include more Bright colors for the summer I would suggest those whose had a bad experience to ask for Courtney. HORRIBLE!!!!!!! I went there with a friend and we both sat down at the same time. As I was soaking my feet (as you do while waiting ) they did my friends pedicure in TEN MIN!!!! They didn't cut the cuticle or shave down the calluses. When directly asked to cut the callus they flat out responded "no". & no it wasn't because it "shouldn't" have been cut it was because they didn't want to do it. We pointed out the cuticle and asked nicely for them to cut it and they rolled their eyes and did it and said nothing else could be done. I was also very amused by the name "Sexy Nails", and I trusted that the owners of a business with three locations would know what they are doing. I regret my decision. I arrived for a pedicure at about 3 PM on a Sunday afternoon, was asked to choose a color, and was guided to a pedicure chair. The lady - who I presume is a manager or owner since she seemed to have authority - prepared the water in the soaking tub and then left me, without a word, for 15 minutes while she went to a computer to watch movie trailers. During this time, at least three other nail technicians were completely unoccupied, either playing with their phones or watching movies on their laptops. No one seemed to care that I was just sitting there with my feet in the soaking water for 15 minutes! Another woman sat down in an empty pedicure chair and waited too. When the one nail tech who had been working on a pedicure finally finished her job, she went to the woman who sat down after me! I think that woman had come before me, as she had just finished a manicure, but someone could have said something to me about how long the wait would be or why so many employees were just sitting around. Frustrated, I dried my pruney toes and got up to leave. The nail tech who decided to work on the other woman before me said, "No, wait! Two minutes." Apparently, some other tech was just doing a color change and would be right with me. Their complete disregard for customer service left a sour taste in my mouth, and I left. I have been to so many different nail salons in my life, and this is by far my favorite. I have been going here for almost 5 years. My friend Vicki introduced me to it while we were probably still poor and in college. I still come back here to get my nails done. I have been to tons of other places, and they do the best job. They have never messed up my nails, or made me bleed, and I get more compliments when I get my nails done here than anywhere else. I usually get the liquid gel on top of my real nail, bc I try to go for a more natural look, rather than the pink and whites. This is the only place that has consistently got it right. Their pedicures are excellent as well. I usually go to Wendy or Danny is they are there, however they are all really great nail therapists there. They recently had the entire salon renovated as well. Their airbrush is also free. Hand designs I think cost extra. If you want to go to a place that is not so froofy and pay all that extra $ for great nails, this is your spot. Don't expect a warm bath and your hands dipped in rose petals, but than again that would cost an additional $100. I have been to the same kinds of places that charged me much more, in and out of the area, and they did not even do half a good of a job. Than, one of the nail therapists here would end up having to fix the other salon's mistakes. Trust me, all the nail therapists here know what they are doing, and they actually really do care about your nails. She does really awesome designs and can pretty much copy any photo you bring her. There are a lot of gel colors and regular colors to choose from. Pricing is very reasonable. I am normally in & out within an hour & half (give or take). I get a fill, pedi, & eyebrows. The salon & equipment definitely needs to be updated. I decided to try this place out as I was Recommended here by a family member. She told me to call for an appointment with Wendy and now I see why. Wendy is amazing and so is her husband Richard. (As for the other nail techs I can not say) She started me right on time and when I told her how I wanted the shape of my nails and what I wanted she gave me no issue. I got an acrylic full set with a gel French with a tad wide shaped nail. It cost $40 which I didn't think was bad. She did a great job overall and is so sweet. The only thing that prevented me from giving them 5 stars was that I didn't like how they bounced around from client to client. They couldn't sit with one client the whole time. Wendy did some of my nails then her husband then her again. But the two of them are the most popular in the salon so they get quite busy. Shame on me for not writing this review sooner. It dawned on me today that I've been coming to this location for over 10 years! I use to work next door at Pizza Hit when I was in high school and been getting my nails done here every month thereafter. You never wait a long time.. you never get rushed services and they make sure to connect with their customers individually. The staff generally has been the same for 10 years and I LOVE that. Whenever I go I get my nails done by whoever is available because they all are great at what they do. I tried going elsewhere because I moved further away and it just isn't the same. I plan on moving even further in 2 weeks which will make my commute about 45 mins but I will continue to come here as long as they are still standing. They've watched me grow up from a pre teen to a young adult and I've watched their business boom. I've never had a bad experience here. I even bring my fiancé twice a year to treat him as well. I really didn't want to write a bad review about this place because I had an amazing experience the last time I came for a pedicure but my most recent experience was just bad. I came in on a Friday morning for a pedicure before 11am. The girl who did a good job on my toes on my previous visit was busy and I was pressed for time, so another girl did my toes. I probably soaked for about twenty minutes in the water waiting for my pedicure when I was initially told 5-10 minutes. Okay, I didn't make a big deal about it. Then she finally starts my pedicure and has to take a break in between to do someone's eyebrows. I work in customer service so I know how difficult it is to juggle clients sometimes, so again, I didn't make a big deal of it. Then after she finishes the other girls eyebrows, she goes to the cash register to take her payment, and to my surprise, she is putting on her coat and scarf and getting ready to walk out of the door and wasn't going to say a word to me. The other worker doing a pedicure next to me says to me "I will finish your toes after I'm done with this customer, she has to leave she has school" referring to my pedicurist who was about to leave. I respectfully told her that I had somewhere to be and could no longer wait and as I was going to leave, the other girl came right back over and finished my pedicure. It was a very rushed job, which I didn't appreciate either. The pedicure process shouldn't take an hour! They should be more respectful of the customer's time. I have mixed reviews about this place. I've been here three times, once for a manicure and twice for tips. The nails turned out pretty good, which I guess should what my review is primarily based on, but this depends entirely on who you get and what you get done. First time I went, I got pink and white, which is 40 bucks and a little different from tips because they take pink and white powder, add liquid and put that mixture onto the acrylic tip. it lasts a lot longer than the white being painted on, looks much more finished and doesn't chip. I went three weeks later and got a fill in, not sure how they would have added a thicker white strip because he trimmed the nail from the top (and I like a thin white strip), but I'm sure they would have made it work. Only thing is, the parts of the old nail he took off (from the base of the nail where it got a little old) totally show through the fill-in, and I wish he would have taken the time to make it smoother and look uniform. Now, the issues. The guy running the salon (short Vietnamese fellow) is quite a character. He's nice for the first 15 seconds, then if you don't immediately sit down where he tells you to and take a few seconds to think about what you want, he gets really impatient and starts following you around and rolling his eyes and getting frustrated. Second, I wanted airbrushing (which is free, yay). I told him what I wanted and he was like, "no. It won't look good. It won't fit on the nail." I was like, seriously? They're my damned nails! So he finally decided on a design that we both approved of. I wanted the design on the edge of my nail in a deep pink color, which they didn't have. So I was like, okay, lets do red, since the only other pink they had was hot light pink. Then, he went ahead and airbrushed the design, in light pink, on the middle of my nail. First he put the design in white, then went over it in pink. On some of the nails, the white underneath showed, and some didn't. I was like seriously? No. I made them take it off and stuck with plain french. If you're getting a pedicure, go to Lady, because everyone else sort of sucks. The girl doing my grandmother's pedi used lukewarm water, didn't turn on the bubbles, soaked for about two minutes, did a quick scrub, cut the nails misshapenly, and dried off her feet. The entire pedicure was about 7 minutes, no exaggeration. After my grandmother made it known that they did a horrible job, they didn't offer to redo it, they just trimmed two of the nails they cut slanted and called it a day, and still charged her 15. It's a service industry, guys. I'll probably come back if I'm in the area and need a french, but that's about it. The guys are a lot nicer than the girls (who are, I'm gonna say it, a lot b*tchier than any other salon I've been to). Definitely not for a pedi (unless you get Lady), and you can get the same manicure or french tips from anywhere else at the same prices. read more

I've always given them the benefit of the doubt and today was the last straw. My nail tech kept on stopping to call people over fb messenger and stopped her service to take a business call. After the call she rushed to get me done so she could prepare for the person who called. The tech rushed me to the pedi chair and ran the water. When I finally put my feet in it was so hot that I was almost burned and she was even phased by my reaction. After she realized it was hot, she put the cold water on and told me to put my feet in. 20 seconds later she took them out of the water and proceeded with my pedicure. She did my feet so fast that she cut the side of my toe and quickly rushed me out of the chair so the next person can sit. I went with my mom and they scrubbed her feet and kept hitting the top of her Achilles and ended up cutting her, which led to her bleeding on a spot that should not be scrubbed. When I was getting my pedicure, the nail polish was all over my toes and my feet we not scrubbed good enough. But most importantly, they pulled my cuticle skin on my big toe off too much. My toe is constantly in pain and it caused an infection and puss. When I was getting my nails done, she was not pulling the cuticle skin off at all and did not clean under my nails to get the dirt out. This place sucks and I will never go back there again. read more
