I recently moved to New Jersey from upstate New York. I was in desperate need of finding a location in an aesthetician that can do Sugaring. I've been Sugaring probably for the past 15 years and I had an excellent aesthetician in Florida and then I moved to upstate New York, and I wanted to find someone that was equally as good here in New Jersey. I found Lotus Skin Care while doing some research on the web and call to make an appointment . I spoke with Secilia she answered all of my questions. She explained the location where they are, and the service that they provide. I made my first appointment with Secilia. I had the most amazing experience. Secilia is a consummate professional. She's friendly, inviting, and very personable. She puts you at ease and make sure that you're relaxed. She's also very communicative making sure that she understands exactly what your needs are. Every time I call Cecilia answers his phone and says hello Barbara, which adds such a nice touch a nice, personal touch. They offer many different types of Sugaring but I can say that each time Cecilia does it she does an excellent job. She talk you through it while she's Sugaring you and make sure that you're OK and also always ask if you have any questions. I would definitely recommend anybody that is looking for a new location or has never had a sugaring before and wants a new experience or any other services to check them out. I've been going to Izabela for years for hair sugaring. Previous to this, I would shave or wax. Ever since I found Lotus Skin Care, I prefer sugaring hands down. The hair removal seems to last longer and never had any redness or irritation from the sugar. The hair doesn't come back thicker and in turn has greatly helped reduce any ingrown hairs in the bikini area. Izabella runs a clean and cozy shop. I went to Lotus Skin Care for the first time the other day for my first ever sugaring (Brazilian wax). Needless to say I'm never going back to EWC. Their sugaring method was so much better on my skin compared to the traditional EWC waxing. It didn't leave any residue behind nor did it irritate / leave my skin looking red or puffy. My skin actually felt and looked better after the sugaring - soft, smooth, no excessive redness. However this does not mean it is a painless process, but compared to EWC waxing, this is way better (in my opinion)! You get consistency here Lotus Skin Care's sugaring grabs just the hair and dead skin so there is no skin trauma. Plus it's natural ingredients !! In EWC you may get a different waxer every appointment who has a different technique or experience level - if not careful this could be damaging. Also, Lotus really do take their time to make sure they get every hair (consulting you to make sure you are happy with the result) and talked to you the whole time like you were hanging out with a friend. So happy I've discovered Izabela and sugaring! I took about a year off from waxing and wanted to try something different after my skin started reacting to the hard wax at EWC. Izabela made sure I felt comfortable, she wore a mask and gloves and I was the only client in the building. I wore my mask during the treatment as well. Even in my first time coming back after shaving regularly, the experience was mostly painless. A few sensitive areas (and I have sensitive skin) that stung a bit but I'm sure, just like with waxing, it will become even less painful as the hairs start growing back the right way. She made sure I was satisfied with the hair removal and even went back in a few times to get the shorter pieces. There was absolutely NO redness or irritation following the treatment - something I experienced often with waxing. I will 100% be back and fully recommend Izabela and sugaring! read more

After a lackluster experience at EWC, I decided to head to Yelp to find a facility top rated in hair removal. That's how I found Lotus and I'm so glad I did. Izabela is awesome! It was my first time getting sugar'd and she talk with me through the whole process to distract me from the pain. She also encouraged me to show her any areas that she may have missed. I did my first sugaring in Vienna, Austria summer of 2018. After only being able to find sugaring locations in NYC, I went back to regular hard waxing and even after being consistent for a year, I couldn't bear the pain any longer. Hard wax no more!! It's been a week since my Brazilian, and it's still looking good! Izabella did a great job making me feel welcome and comforting me through the experience. I've been waxing for years but was curious about sugaring and Izabella did a good job of introducing me.
