Day of arrival we parked on the street (at a meter), not knowing the business has a parking lot behind the building for customers (manicurist shared with us during appt). That might have been worth mentioning Ms. Receptionist. The space looks small from the outside but inside is very spacious but dated; the Manicure Room is cute, but could use some updates as well. The nail color selection is limited and flat (none of the new stuff). The manicurist were great - took their time and polished well. Upon check out I presented both cards, one for my mom to use and one for myself. The reception said they didn't take Spa Week, I told her when I called the receptionist said they did. Whatevs, but I know what I was told. On my second visit (2 weeks later), I booked a mani and pedi, but the manicurist I booked with was no longer employed there, so I was very surprised because I wasn't notified. The new girl was good too, so I was satisfied, but normally a call with the option to keep or cancel appointment is my practice. The business sends frequent email blasts that let you know about specials and pricing, which the prices have spiked, as of April. A regular manicure will now cost $30, color gel mani $55, basic pedi $55. These new prices will determine the frequency of my visits.

Every time I call Cecilia answers his phone and says hello Barbara, which adds such a nice touch a nice, personal touch. They offer many different types of Sugaring but I can say that each time Cecilia does it she does an excellent job. Then the front desk gym staff walked me through the woman's locker room and there was a door that seemed like a closet - It opened to a room with a spa table (massage type table) and the woman was nice. I got changed in a small closet like space maybe 4 by 4 feet - and got on the table. I was there for a purpose, but this was not an experience I will book again. There was no soft music (the regular radio was on). No tea, no where to sit and sort of chill for a few. The treatment was $200 plus tip. Price was normal - and she did a good job. I won't go back, ever. However, I did decide to join the gym, so that was a bonus for whomever owns the place. If you want simple "get rid of blackheads" - no winding down, no pampering - this is your place. If you want to relax, go with a friend, stay away.

I found Dockery on Yelp and thought let me give this place a try. Now we know we can take changes with brows but worst case scenario you can pencil in errors. So I decided to take our trustworthy yelpers opinions and made my way to Dockery. Amrit was the person who threaded my eyebrows and I was impressed. She was quick and very thorough. She threaded my eyebrows well and probably the quickest brow visit ever. I must have been in her chair for perhaps 5 mins or so. I also think it's because my eyes brows aren't difficult to handle. My only complain is that there was no powder or sort of lotion they usually put on your brows to either cool them off or not have them itchy as much. That was disappointing because I feel like you need either one since your brows, at least mine, itch a lot after threading. Other great parts of my visit was that they accept credit cards ($10 min) and you can put your tip on it as well. You can book your appointment online and they offer lots of time slots. They offer a various services for all of your beauty needs. This place may become my new eyebrow place.

The staff member who did it put the tint all over my skin, and didn't do the full length of one of my brows. This meant my brow looked unnaturally thick but also short, since the front of my brow was not tinted. Then, when the staff member was removing the tint from my brows, she got some on my brow bone. I asked her to clean it up, but she said it would fade on its own. It did not. It peeled my skin and took off a few layers. If the tinting was done JUST over my eyebrow hair, it probably would have looked great. It faded within 4-5 days so I didn't have to deal with it for long, but I was surprised that a $30 tinting service (which included the waxing) faded so quickly. I did tell them that the service was not up to standard/the pictures on their pages. They apologized but said there was nothing they could do. Again, the waxing and staff are great! but the tinting is definitely a no from me.
