My appointment was at 12:00 PM, but I called ahead to let them know I'd be a little late. I arrived at 12:30 PM and was met with a very unfriendly attitude from the owner--she gave me a very angry look and was not welcoming at all, even though I apologized for being late. She said she would fit me in between clients, and I accepted that. Monica, my hairdresser, asked the owner for the formula for my hair color and went to the back. When she applied the color, my scalp started to burn badly. I told Monica, and she said it would go away, but I had never experienced that kind of burning before. To make things worse, the final color was completely wrong--much darker than the chocolate shade I usually get. My scalp was extremely dry and irritated afterward. During the hair wash, water ran down my back and left me soaked. I was supposed to get a blow-dry, but instead, she sat me under a dryer and said it would help because my hair was long. But it was obvious she did this just to take another client. After waiting too long, I had to leave without my hair properly finished. The entire experience was unprofessional, rushed, and uncomfortable. I felt like Monica had to follow whatever the owner said, and there was no concern for my comfort or satisfaction. Every time I call Cecilia answers his phone and says hello Barbara, which adds such a nice touch a nice, personal touch. They offer many different types of Sugaring but I can say that each time Cecilia does it she does an excellent job. She talk you through it while she's Sugaring you and make sure that you're OK and also always ask if you have any questions. I saw that my thighs hadn't been touched, and my calves were a hit or miss. Considering the price, the overall vibe, and feeling obligated to tip Isis 20%, it was a waste of my time and money. Isis is rough, and rough around the edges. She is immature and inexperienced. She told me she'd *just* graduated from beauty school, and it shows. She lacks social skills, professionalism, emotional IQ, and waxing expertise. They comb wet hair from root to end with fine-tooth combs, causing unnecessary breakage and split ends. Both adults and children end up losing hair because of improper detangling. They also overuse heat, excessive blow-drying followed by high-heat flat ironing which leaves hair dry, damaged, and unrepairable. Communication is difficult because most of the stylists only speak Spanish, making it hard to explain styling preferences. The manager is dismissive and often rude. Their products contain questionable ingredients, and they charge extra if you bring your own, which feels unreasonable. The only positive is the owner, Victor, whose customer service and professionalism stands out but he's not always there, and his business experience has greatly declined. Parking is somewhat difficult but that's to be expected in this area. However, the brow tinting was low quality. The staff member who did it put the tint all over my skin, and didn't do the full length of one of my brows. This meant my brow looked unnaturally thick but also short, since the front of my brow was not tinted. Then, when the staff member was removing the tint from my brows, she got some on my brow bone. I asked her to clean it up, but she said it would fade on its own. It did not. It peeled my skin and took off a few layers. If the tinting was done JUST over my eyebrow hair, it probably would have looked great. It faded within 4-5 days so I didn't have to deal with it for long, but I was surprised that a $30 tinting service (which included the waxing) faded so quickly. I did tell them that the service was not up to standard/the pictures on their pages. They apologized but said there was nothing they could do. Again, the waxing and staff are great! but the tinting is definitely a no from me.

I got these done ahead of time for a vacation, and I'm really glad I didn't get them closer to leaving. If you have lighter hair, I wouldn't recommend getting your brows tinted here.
