I've been going to The Eyebrow Threading Bar for a couple years now and I LOVE their service. The ladies who work here are very kind and friendly, and they do an amazing job with eyebrows. I've only gotten my eyebrows done here, nothing else, but I know they offer a lot more. The salon is very clean and tidy. They have plenty of parking in the front and back of the store. I've been a customer of this business for several years always been very happy. The last time I went none of the people looked familiar anymore and the girl that did my eyebrows did a horrible job. Because I've gone for so many years I decided to try it one more time I went yesterday and yet another new girl was there, when she was doing my eyebrows, she said you have a lot of blackheads on your nose. I could take care of them for you for $10 I said OK. Well, she put a hot plastic on my nose and somehow put it all the way inside of one of my nostrils. I knew right away There was a problem because i couldn't breathe when she put the stuff on, I said please take it off I can't breathe. I don't like it. At any rate when she took it off, she pulled all the hair out of my nose, along with the lining of my nose. It bled quite a bit yesterday and today it is so painful and full of scabs. Asked them to shape my eyebrows and they removed half of my eyebrow. They are very nice but I am very upset as I literally don't have my eyebrows now and it will take 6 months to grow back. I've attached a photo of what my eyebrows look like before and after my appointment! read more

They do a great job and are very friendly. They take appointments and walk-ins. The only reason why I'm giving 3 stars is that the owner basically forced me to give her a 5 star review on google one day when I was alone with her in the store. 5 stars shouldn't be begged for. This was my second time visiting here. I did a tiny and thread. I loved it but when I got home i felt a burning sensation and it started itching. I really like how it turned out but now I feel pain whenever I wash my face even with just water. The lady who did my brows was nice and very kind but she wasn't gentle at all. I never feel pain when I do threading but this day was the worse feeling ever. I really hope this wouldn't happen to anyone. Great job but very painful experience. I went here after coming from Dockery Eyebrow in Teaneck. This place is so much better in my opinion! I went on a Sunday, and the lady who helped me was the only worker there. Unfortunately, I forgot her name but she was GREAT! She had many recommendations as I had previously over-plucked by eyebrows. She was so helpful in reshaping them. Their prices are also great. I ended up buying a package deal. I paid for 5 eyebrow threading sessions for $30, which you can use later on down the road. 100% would recommend for eyebrow threading! Store was clean and very nice and open. Only con is that there was only one employee, who had to answer phone calls, and greet and sign in clients who were walking in, all while working on a clients eyebrows. WARNING! Worth the read. I do NOT recommend this place for lash extensions! The lash extensions were a disaster. The girl in the chair next to me was getting hers done and they looked great so I decided I wanted to try them out. This experience was painful! I was told to keep my eyes open during the process. The glue burned my eyes so badly that I was IMPOSSIBLE to keep them open. After the first eye she told me to keep the second eye closed because my lids moved too much. The glue still burned even with my eyes closed. The woman doing my lashes didn't seem to know what she was doing and kept looking at the other woman for approval. They kept examining the job she was doing as if she already messed them up. She finished up and they looked great. When I got home I looked some more and noticed the the lashes on the eye I kept closed were glued to my skin and not my actual lashes. One eye had perkier lashes while the others laid flat, they did not look symmetrical. That night when I tried to fall asleep my eyes itched badly from the lashes rubbing on my skin. After a week they were all falling out so they looked ridiculous. I had enough so I went to AN ACTUAL eyelash technician who was appalled by the lash job I had done. She told me that my eyes should NEVER be open during application. She also said you cannot get them wet for at least 24 hours, something they did not tell me. Do yourself a favor and spend the money on good quality lashes, NOT HERE. I did get my eyebrows threaded here and they did a good job. I got them tinted as well which made them look very overbearing. I was taken right away by a young man who did a great job on my gel mani (can't beat the price - $25 M-W). I had my eyebrows threaded by Mahi a few days ago and while she's really nice and very professional it wasn't fantastic. I have 2 small cuts below my eyebrows and she threaded so much faster than anyone I've gone to. I just wanted my brows reshaped a little and instead she shrunk them down. I would've given 5 stars had it been the lady who used to thread my brows before the location changed. read more

This place is very reliable. Whenever I come in, no matter who is working, my eyebrows turn out great. I've never had a problem and there usually is not that long of a wait. Great local place! Not high end salon but deserves the business...great prices. The main thing I look for is good long massage during a pedicure some places are doing a 8-10 minute massages as a standard not part of a spa pedicure. This place is not one of them, however, the pluses are the gel manicure there is a gentleman there who applies it properly very thin not to bubble or peel off. Preserving the Polish to last as long as it intented to up to 14 days. Also his top off shoulder massage after a manicure makes you long for more. During one visit you see many customers ( 6 in the period I was there) coming in asking just for 10 minute massages with him or another women there with glasses. read more

I would really like to give no stars to this place. It was my first and last time for sure. I asked her to just clean up my eyebrows with the thread. I have thick eyebrows might I add. When she finished, she asked me to take a look and when I did, I realized she had taken a good portion of the beginning of my right eyebrow off. I told her and she said, the lighting wasn't good and that she didn't realize. I now have to fill in my eyebrow until it grows back. I do not recommend going here for any service. She wasn't even apologetic about it. Not to mention, another first time customer walked in and after seeing her work on my eyebrows, she turned around and left. read more

Nice place very friendly employees. Their selection on gel color is limited they don't have much design options. They give you back massage when you get manicure but it's literally 10 seconds. I got gel manicure. 25$. But I saw Monday and Wednesday its 20$. If you like solid manicure go there but I personally like when they do designs. read more

Sent my sister there with a gift certificate for a mani/pedi and the older woman cut her finger and made it bleed, then didnt want to paint that nail but finished the rest and still took the gift certificate with no apologies and said that 9 out of 10 of her fingers had dry skin. In my opinion she should not have cut her cuticles if she had seen they were dry. The younger woman did her pedicure and was good though. I wont ever go here. read more
