Review Update During COVID…read more I admit that I use to get my eyebrows threaded religiously every other week so when the pandemic hit and this place closed, I was beside myself! Luckily, when they were getting ready to re-open they gave me a call and I happily made my eyebrow appointment! Prices had went up from $8 to $15 initially since many establishments had been hit hard and were trying to recover but price went down to $12. This is still a great price if you ask me. They require you make an appointment prior to coming which they adhere too as I almost never have to wait and they now have plastic in between each chair. Your temperature is taken once you arrive and you also fill out a form for tracebility which makes me feel safe. They also have hand sanitizer and all the chairs are wiped down between customers. Parking is always tricky even though they have a parking lot but sometimes hard to get too since there is a lot of construction in the area. Review based on eyebrows and to me this is still the best place to get them done!

I had my brows done in January of 2021 and went back for my touch up sometime in March of 2021. They cancelled my appt for touch up due to a snow storm and couldn't accommodate me sooner for touch up. It had been about 11 Months since I had my procedure. I am writing my review now because I wanted to wait for the final results. Julianna did a very good job. I healed rather quickly and never had an issue! I protected them and still do every day with sunblock and try not to put face creams on top. I am happy with my experience and brows as they do look natural. That is something where Julianna excels at-she ensures her clients do not look crazy or too made up regardless of their requests. She genuinely takes pride In her work and it shows. Mine are darker than what she had originally suggested as I opted for combo brows-micro blading and shading. I love the color and so love the look! My brows look great and dive received many compliments-even from strangers! I do admit, however, that I along with a few others noticed a few imperfections. When I went in for my touch up I told Julianna that I was concerned they were slightly different and she said they were fine. She barely touched them during touch up. She is the pro though therefore I guess that's a good sign? She's confident in her work but she should have paid more attention to my concern bc I see it even more now . One is slightly shorter and slightly thinner than the other which extends horizontally and is thicker than the other. I didn't have perfect brows to begin with-don't believe any of us do and I guess she can only do so much! LOL I do believe she could have made more of an effort to touch them up especially after I voiced my concern. Shame on me for not speaking up again but I did confide and trust her. Nonetheless, they look good. I received a referral for Julianna by Kristina from Browsbykristina At the Strand Salon in Paramus. She is a master brow artist and she highly recommended Julianna. When I went in and told Lash and Brow that Kristina referred me they didn't even know who she was! In fact, Kristina refers all of her clients here just because of Juliana's great work. I'm hoping they will last the 3 years I was told they would last. It was something I contemplated for many years and I do love to wake up with brows as I feel they frame your face! I found Dockery on Yelp and thought let me give this place a try. Now we know we can take changes with brows but worst case scenario you can pencil in errors. So I decided to take our trustworthy yelpers opinions and made my way to Dockery. Amrit was the person who threaded my eyebrows and I was impressed. She was quick and very thorough. She threaded my eyebrows well and probably the quickest brow visit ever. I must have been in her chair for perhaps 5 mins or so. I also think it's because my eyes brows aren't difficult to handle. My only complain is that there was no powder or sort of lotion they usually put on your brows to either cool them off or not have them itchy as much. That was disappointing because I feel like you need either one since your brows, at least mine, itch a lot after threading. Other great parts of my visit was that they accept credit cards ($10 min) and you can put your tip on it as well. You can book your appointment online and they offer lots of time slots. They offer a various services for all of your beauty needs. This place may become my new eyebrow place.

The staff member who did it put the tint all over my skin, and didn't do the full length of one of my brows. This meant my brow looked unnaturally thick but also short, since the front of my brow was not tinted. Then, when the staff member was removing the tint from my brows, she got some on my brow bone. I asked her to clean it up, but she said it would fade on its own. It did not. It peeled my skin and took off a few layers. If the tinting was done JUST over my eyebrow hair, it probably would have looked great. It faded within 4-5 days so I didn't have to deal with it for long, but I was surprised that a $30 tinting service (which included the waxing) faded so quickly. I did tell them that the service was not up to standard/the pictures on their pages. They apologized but said there was nothing they could do. Again, the waxing and staff are great! but the tinting is definitely a no from me.
