I found Lotus Skin Care while doing some research on the web and call to make an appointment . I spoke with Secilia she answered all of my questions. She explained the location where they are, and the service that they provide. I made my first appointment with Secilia. I had the most amazing experience. Secilia is a consummate professional. She's friendly, inviting, and very personable. She puts you at ease and make sure that you're relaxed. She's also very communicative making sure that she understands exactly what your needs are. Every time I call Cecilia answers his phone and says hello Barbara, which adds such a nice touch a nice, personal touch. They offer many different types of Sugaring but I can say that each time Cecilia does it she does an excellent job. She talk you through it while she's Sugaring you and make sure that you're OK and also always ask if you have any questions. I would definitely recommend anybody that is looking for a new location or has never had a sugaring before and wants a new experience or any other services to check them out. It's an excellent location And the space is absolutely gorgeous. You walk it is calming, it's serene, and inviting. The decor is just absolutely beautiful.

This was a 5 star experience at EWC in Fairlawn, NJ at the Promenade Plaza of route 208. I ran out…read moreof friends willing to shave my back, and decided to try waxing. I'm one of those hairy guys that comes out of the ocean, gets down on all fours, and shakes like a dog to shed the water, while people nearby complain about getting sprayed. Read too much about men going once and never going back because it was too painful, however, I ran an errand in Fair Lawn, NJ and found myself three doors down from the EWC, and decided to pose some questions. Donya (forgive me if if I misspelled) at the front desk was excellent to work with and we agreed that Tara would do a couple of sample patches on the most traditionally painful locations. Tara was also patient, kind and excellent. The initial pull was uncomfortable but quite tolerable, and the discomfort was gone in less than a minute. Made my appointment with Tara for the next day. Full back! Out of many strips, I'd say a few were noticeably 'on the edge' but the extreme discomfort vanished very quickly. Front desk staff and Tara were wonderful to work with. It all looked fine when I got home, however, later in the day my back itched a bit in one spot and I took a look. Wow!!! It appeared that every follicle spot was quite red, like a giant rash, all over my back. But it was strictly visual. No discomfort whatsoever. Took a quick shower, and checked again before bed and the 'rash' was gone. I did find out that the redness is normal. I will be going back when it gets long again, and hope that Tara will still be there. I regret not asking Tara to take a couple of 'before' pics, because the couple of 'after' pics she took are meaningless without the comparison. I sent one 'after' pic to the last person to shave my back and she was quite impressed, because she knew what the before looked like. Next time we'll take 'before' and 'after' pics. If I hadn't run that errand I probably never would have done this. Between Donya and Tara, I felt welcome and well cared for, and highly recommend the people and the location. I may consider a package from Donya! All of my apprehension was for nothing!!! Try it!! Keep in mind that we're all different... rate of hair growth, pain tolerance, and anxiety! Before starting, I neglected to ask Tara if I reminded her of anyone from her past who bullied or otherwise caused her any grief. She definitely treated me well, so I won't have to ask next time.

I am in love with this place, and plan to come on a regular basis! It's really that awesome! The service and hospitality are wonderful. Upon arrival, you will check in at the front desk. If you have forgotten your swimsuit, robe, slippers for the pool. BRC spa has men's swim shorts to rent and female suits for purchase to whomever may need one. Which is an excellent service. Love that they have slippers for the entire spa experience. Really appreciate, towels and slippers are provided with the admission cost. Robes can be rented from the front desk for customer convenience, if you don't want to bring your own. I prefer to rent theirs, the robes are very nice. Admission grants access to the facility's aroma, wet, and dry saunas, steam room, ice cold plunge, lap pool, jacuzzi, relaxation room, and the mud/scrub room. WiFi is free and available throughout the entire spa. The spa features a lovely cafe that prepares healthy meals, fruit bowls, that has a bar wherein alcoholic beverages can be ordered. The spa has other amazing add on's that are extra which include cryotherapy, salt room, float pod, massage therapy, and a VIP room. Highly recommend cryotherapy if you have any inflammation in your body. Cryotherapy is a game changer. Excited to try the float pod, cryotherapy, infrared sauna,on my next visit. As well as the salt room eventually. My overall favorite feature of the spa was the ice cold plunge. It was truly an amazing experience, that gave me immediate benefits. Never thought I could ever do an ice cold plunge especially when the weather outside is already very frigid. Thanks to other members sharing their experience. I built up the courage to the plunge. It was an awesome, euphoric, pain relieving experience. I will be taking the ice cold plunge or ice baths on a daily or weekly basis for the amazing health benefits. My other favorites were the regulars that visit the spa frequently. They were absolutely the best, and I enjoyed each and every patron I encountered. This place is pure positive bliss. When I left this spa all of my body aches, muscle tension, chronic pain, and stress were gone. If you fly into Teterboro, visit Meadowlands, the NJ/NYC area, this is THE BEST SPA IN THE TRI STATE! My husband and I had 1 PM appointments for a couples pedicure and then I had a gel manicure appointment for immediately after. They were overbooked and understaffed and could not help us. They told us we could get pedicures, but we could not be near each other so we couldn't have that couples experience That we were looking for. However, they sat us in these two random chairs filled the pedicure bucket with water and left us there for 30 minutes. They clearly were not ready for us once again. When I pointed it out, my concern didn't feel like it was taken seriously. On this visit, I was asked to pay and select a tip before my services were completed. I later noticed other customers paying after their appointments, so it felt uncomfortable to be asked to follow a different process. Since my manicure was already dry and I was still receiving my pedicure, I would have been perfectly able to pay at the end. I will say that in the past I've had pedicures from the Latina technician, I forgot her name, and her work is exceptional. She is thorough, professional, and gives one of the best pedicures I've had. Unfortunately, my last few overall experiences at the salon have not matched that level of service.

I had my brows done in January of 2021 and went back for my touch up sometime in March of 2021. They cancelled my appt for touch up due to a snow storm and couldn't accommodate me sooner for touch up. It had been about 11 Months since I had my procedure. I am writing my review now because I wanted to wait for the final results. Julianna did a very good job. I healed rather quickly and never had an issue! I protected them and still do every day with sunblock and try not to put face creams on top. I am happy with my experience and brows as they do look natural. That is something where Julianna excels at-she ensures her clients do not look crazy or too made up regardless of their requests. She genuinely takes pride In her work and it shows. Mine are darker than what she had originally suggested as I opted for combo brows-micro blading and shading. I love the color and so love the look! My brows look great and dive received many compliments-even from strangers! I do admit, however, that I along with a few others noticed a few imperfections. When I went in for my touch up I told Julianna that I was concerned they were slightly different and she said they were fine. She barely touched them during touch up. She is the pro though therefore I guess that's a good sign? She's confident in her work but she should have paid more attention to my concern bc I see it even more now . One is slightly shorter and slightly thinner than the other which extends horizontally and is thicker than the other. I didn't have perfect brows to begin with-don't believe any of us do and I guess she can only do so much! LOL I do believe she could have made more of an effort to touch them up especially after I voiced my concern. Shame on me for not speaking up again but I did confide and trust her. Nonetheless, they look good. I received a referral for Julianna by Kristina from Browsbykristina At the Strand Salon in Paramus. She is a master brow artist and she highly recommended Julianna. When I went in and told Lash and Brow that Kristina referred me they didn't even know who she was! In fact, Kristina refers all of her clients here just because of Juliana's great work. I'm hoping they will last the 3 years I was told they would last. It was something I contemplated for many years and I do love to wake up with brows as I feel they frame your face!
