I am not sure if Heena asked Yelp to take it down, but because she burned my sisters face, and then yelled at HER for it (in front of me and my mother) I am putting it back up with the clear disclaimer up front-Yes I was a paying customer in this situation. I've been going to Heena's for years. The truth is she's okay enough at eyebrows. But she's AWFUL at customer service!! I've watched over the years as this has significantly declined! One day after years of service from our family, my sister and I went to her for routine lip wax before her wedding. Heena doesn't do the waxing bc she is busy doing eyebrows so she has one of her girls do it. (fine). But these girls are not well trained and a bit haphazard, They often dont wait long enough for the wax to cool down. THEY ACTUALLY BURNED MY SISTERS FACE! Yes, for her WEDDING, she has DARK BURN MARKS on her chin. BUT THE STORY GETS BETTER! My sister went to talk to Heena with my mother the next day. HEENAS BEHAVIOR WAS BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL. SHE WAS OUTRIGHT RUDE TO MY SISTER AND ACTUALLY THREATENED HER!! (What?!!! You have to know my sister and my mother are extremely sweet people who just wanted to know what they could do to fix the wedding pictures) The girl who did the actual wax was extremely sorry and apologized profusely, but heena gave my sister a hard time, told her SHE SHOULD HAVE HAD HER SIGN A RELEASE FORM SAYING THIS COULD HAPPEN SO THEY WOULDN'T BE LIABLE (hello, LOTS of girls get their lips/chin waxed and do not end up with burns!!). she GRUDGINGLY gave my sister her money back, BUT THEN TOLD ME AND MY FAMILY TO NEVER COME BACK THERE EVER AGAIN!! I mean all she had to do was say she was sorry, give the money back if she wanted and we would have continued being her (eyebrows only) customers....The most important thing was the apology....However she THREATENED my sister and my mother?!!! What??? MY SISTER'S WEDDING PICTURES ARE RUINED AND THIS WAS HER RESPONSE!!! We've been going there for years, and up until that point we were actually friendly, and my entire family was friendly with her!! I can only imagine how she would treat people that she hasn't known for years. Wow....Heena i'll be going to your competitor that is two doors down from you....Its not that hard and there are tons of competitors at your doorstep. Parking is somewhat difficult but that's to be expected in this area. However, the brow tinting was low quality. The staff member who did it put the tint all over my skin, and didn't do the full length of one of my brows. This meant my brow looked unnaturally thick but also short, since the front of my brow was not tinted. Then, when the staff member was removing the tint from my brows, she got some on my brow bone. I asked her to clean it up, but she said it would fade on its own. It did not. It peeled my skin and took off a few layers. If the tinting was done JUST over my eyebrow hair, it probably would have looked great. It faded within 4-5 days so I didn't have to deal with it for long, but I was surprised that a $30 tinting service (which included the waxing) faded so quickly. I did tell them that the service was not up to standard/the pictures on their pages. They apologized but said there was nothing they could do. Again, the waxing and staff are great! but the tinting is definitely a no from me.

There was some tiny left on my skin that looked patchy, so I scrubbed them when I got home. It should fade but I just feel like they shouldn't have been tinted so dark. I got these done ahead of time for a vacation, and I'm really glad I didn't get them closer to leaving. If you have lighter hair, I wouldn't recommend getting your brows tinted here.

He's got magical hands- trust me! The only problem I've ever had is sitting for my pedicure, and having to wait quite a while because they're just wasn't enough techs to cover the amount of clients!
