Stumbled upon this lovely place back in December 2024 on NYE and have been going there ever since. The staff is super friendly, they take their time, and the prices are amazing. The first time I went here, it was NYE and my nails were damaged and shorter than ever upon arrival, but when I left the staff not only fixed them too perfection but also included a complimentary design plus gave me a little gift. I've been hooked since then and since that day the salon has also undergone some upgrades! They have new decor, tables, chairs, nail colors, and much more. It looks amazing and I really can't stress how great of a job they do on my nails. I made a same day appointment today for gel manicure/reg pedicure and they sat me immediately upon arrival. They took their time and what I loved most is when they weren't with a client, they were perfecting their craft. I highly recommend this salon for not only the pricing, but the quality. Do Not Come here for Gel nails!! I was coming here for convenience since it's a block away from where I live and stopped. I had to return because I was given a gift certificate so I had no choice. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. My gel manicure peeled off the next day! My gel would only last a few days and if I was lucky a week (which was rare). I'm there forever and the end result is just money wasted. They must use cheap products because the new nail place that I am going to, my gel lasts 4 weeks without a single chip and I'm there no longer than an hour. At this place they take 2 hours to do a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Please don't waste your money here, as they are not cheap and your gel will not last. read more

I tried this place for the first time! I loved it! Sara did my mani pedi and it was great! She took great care in doing it. She massaged my feet and hands and when I was drying my nails she also gave a quick shoulder massage. Overall, I would definitely go here again! Was not crowded on Friday evening. Idk why this salon doesn't have a higher rating! 5 Stars for me! I've been here about 4x now. I left my old salons due to the increasing crowds which I don't have the patience for. This cute little salon is located on a Main Street in Ridgefield Park. I have not been disappointed at all with the manicure & pedicures I've gotten here! A regular mani lasted longer for me than I actually excepted-- meaning it didn't chip right away! Friendly service and I haven't hit a busy crowd yet. Only tricky part is you have to find parking on the street meters...however each time I've been lucky to find parking very close by. Also a huge plus is they have Mani-Pedi $25 specials Mon-Sat whereas most other places in the area only have the $25 special Mon-Wed or so! Pedicure alone is $20 or manicure alone is $8. read more

Honestly, wasn't all that great of an experience. Second time I ever had my nails done, so naturally I was inexperienced in the world of manicures. Lady there made me feel bad for not knowing how it worked. After all was said and done, my nails started popping off DAYS afterwards... like we're talking not even a week. They constantly felt loose and I ended up using nail glue to fix them. Totally worthless. Had to peel them off because I lost most of them. Also- the place seemed run down. Won't go back. read more

Nail work is great...but don't understand why I have to wait over 30 minutes even if I make an appointment.

I came here about 6 months ago because I live in the town so it's so much more convenient than going to Polished Nail (best in North Jersey) in Closter. I came in, asked for a color gel mani; the color section was not good and most are in the bottles so you can't see an example. The color shown on the bottle doesn't reflect the actual color once dried. Anyway, I waited about 25 min...was about to walk out but was in desperate need and already planned not to travel to Closter. I didn't get gel, just a regular mani and pedi. Color selections are outdated; service is horrible; they argue with y o u when you tell them what kind of shape you want and not to cut cuticles. Color was uneven and not close enough to the cuticle. The old school dryer s aren't strong so you're sitting there for 20 min. drying. Just the worst! Will never go back. read more

I never do Yelp Reviews but I must rate my favorite nail salon. I have become a regular here, from coming every few weeks in the summer to getting my nails done for special events and holidays. The girls always do a good job and Sophie is always so nice. I usually come close to closing time so there isn't much of a wait. But today I came in on a Saturday to get a gel manicure. They took me almost right away, the Saturday before Christmas. No complaints at all! No matter how busy they are they are always so patient and listen. I love the reward system they have. Once you get a certain amount of points you get free manicure/pedicure etc. At times there may be a wait but over all excellent customer service! Keep it up ladies! read more

I went for a pedicure here because my regular place was booked. Never again! It is very run down and very dirty. I witnessed someone sit down in the same pedicure seat I was in while I was drying and the sink wasn't cleaned between customers. The place needs a good scrubbing, remodel and a lesson in hygiene for everyone who works there. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the girl did a great job polishing my toes. read more

I love their options of gel selections. The ladies here are so hardworking and always make you feel relaxed. They will give such good treatments for your feet and the foot massages are out of this world! (I have a job where I'm always on my feet). All are so attentive to what you want done. I like New World Nails and I'd prefer to come here out of all the places I've been to. It's clean, relaxing environment, and the women who work here are very nice. The only downfall is the wait. I've always waited about 30 minutes to begin my service. Also, a couple of times I waited, they began working on someone ele when I arrived before. No, the other customers didn't have appointments but they were regulars and didnt want to wait. This was my first time at this nail salon. I work close by and figured that it would be a short stop in and out kind of experience. I called the salon 30 minutes prior to coming in to tell them what I wanted and that I had to be in and out because I had work in the next hour or so. I arrive and I got helped right away, they soaked off my gel from weeks before, and did all of the steps before you would do before you put the nail polish on. I got there around 2:45 and I left the salon at 4:10, still with my nails not done. I was very annoyed.. the lady who started my nails went to go start on someone else while I was still sitting there, then after she was done with the lady she left me for, she started cleaning the salon!! at one point she actually sat down in the pedicure chair with her feet up and took a drink of water, while making eye contact with me. I was sitting there for about 45 minutes with just my nails filed, waiting for her to come paint them. Long story short, this nail salon is not one that I will ever attend again. read more

This place has steadily gone downhill. It's in desperate need of a cleaning. They now have workers who do the pedicures who I'm sure are not licensed and they do a terrible job, they also have these workers do all of your manicure except for the painting, it's definitely a second rate job. Not only is the place dirty and you're not getting the quality that used to get no one speaks, the worker girls don't speak English and with my last manicure the owner Sophie spoke on her celphone in Korean the entire time she did my nails.
