my family and I have been coming here for years. The nail tech messed up my manicure and there were bubbles in my nails and did not paint close enough to the cuticle So my manicure I walked out with looked like it was already a week old. I called about it the following week because I normally don't complain but I was upset and spoke to the best technician here Lee who told me to come in anytime and they would give me a free manicure. Upon getting here, the owner/ manager told me she would only offer me $5 off of a $55 dollar manicure. I told the man on the phone I wouldn't be able to get there right away due to my work schedule and he said that's fine whenever you come we will honor it and give you the free manicure. The manager/owner told me he should never have told me that. I then asked her since my family and I have been coming here for years if she could take at least half off in that case. And she refused. I then asked for a regular pedicure this time because at this place they both last the same amount of time. and she tried to charge me $5 to take off my nail polish. I have been very satisfied everytime I have come here but since the chance of hands in ownership the prices have skyrocketed and u less you get either the owner or lee your nails look like crap. A gel pedicure is $45 and a gel Manicure plain which I always get is $55 I always spend a minimum of $100 just ins revives here nevermind the tips. i Feel disrespected as a returning customer especially when I was told it was okay to come in my own time and she did not care what so ever what was said to me just continued to blame it on me. The nail tech that I had didn't really do a good job on my nails. It already started chipping and she didn't fill in much of the gaps on my nails. I can still see a little white space that's not painted on. She did a really horrible job. I don't suggest you guys going there maybe go to a different nail salon. It is horrible. Used to come to this place all the time and I'm so disappointed with the quality now. They weren't busy at all. I was able to sit immediately, but the woman who worked on my nails RUSHED. I did not feel relaxed, the edges were messy, she barely cleaned them up, barely trimmed my cuticles, slapped some lotion on my hands/arms and sent me on my way. She even missed some spots with the clear coat. I tried to ask her to clean up the edges please and had to ask for a 3rd coat (she already started putting on the clear coat, but it was so patchy) which she gave me attitude for. It's sad that I'm writing this review while I'm In the salon. I used to come here all the time and have left reviews in the past when it was different owners. My friend swears by this salon and I figured I'd give it another shot. I came for a uv gel set and a pedicure. Violet was great for the pedi and Jinny was amazing for the UV gel set. However the gel did not last a week on my nails before it started lifting(something that happens no matter where I go). I have done dip powder in the past and figured I would try it here since gel just doesn't work on my nails. I made an appointment for a dip powder and a pedicure and immediately the owner tries to get me to do UV gel- we literally had a back and forth and she just didn't listen that I just wanted to get dip on my nails. I could tell they were annoyed that I wouldn't budge. The guy who did my dip manicure was not good. He didn't file my nails to the same shape so they are literally all different shapes and they look extremely wide. He left dried dip all over my nails and they look chunky because he didn't file the dip correctly after applying it. . All in all once again I will never return to this salon and I would not recommend trying this place unless you want your nails to look horrible. read more

Today was my first time coming here. I had an appointment and was seen right away. I got a pedicure and a new acrylic set with gel nail polish. Mary was amazing and helped me get a better idea of what I wanted. It turned out great and was actually affordable compared to surrounding places. Definitely coming back! I love this place!!!! The receptionist is friendly and helpful....always booking and and accommodating. The shop is clean and there's always something entertaining on their big screen tv. Manicure looked GREAT the first day that I had it done. Maria did my nails - she was careful and did a great job. My issue with the manicure is that the day after I had them done, my nails all turned a yellowing color, and got progressively worse with each passing day. I had to paint glitter over the white nails to try to hide the discoloration. I googled and the only thing I came up with is that they had me put my nails under the lamp too many times. The manicure also peeled off approaching the 2 week mark - you shouldn't be able to peel a gel manicure off at all. So the quality of work done at the salon was great, but they need to learn how long your nails need to cure so that they don't burn! read more

Horrible experience. Used to be a regular. They don't listen to how you want to shape and keep length on your nail. They're constantly upset while doing your nails and make rude comments, which is horrible since I've brought them so many customers. My gel peeled off twice after 2 days. Should've learned! Most frustrating is when they stop you and make you wait 20+ minutes because another customer walked in. Very unprofessional. Will not be coming back anymore. Update: photo is 4 days later. I hate when salons put the acrylic halfway on a nail. Cheap way of trying to force the client back in faster. Not working this time! This is my favorite nail salon in Bergen County. I've paid similar prices at different salons close by but my nails come out much better here and they actually paint all the way up to the cuticle!! BIG PET PEEVE. PROS: 1. Nice/clean salon. They have a lot of seating in the front if you're waiting. I love the pedicure area in the back of the salon, it's decorated with PINK EVERYTHING! The pink curtains in between the pedi chairs & pink lights make a nice touch. It's super girly & cute! There's tons of nail salons in Bergen county that are SOOO outdated... Nail Pro is one of the nicest salons I've been to in the area. I love getting my nails done, but getting them done in a pretty place is even better! 2: The eyebrow lady is good. She actually listens to how you want them done 3: Nice staff 4: Lots of colors available. Both regular + gel polish 5. Tons of parking in the back. Parking is never a problem. I've tried 5 or 6 nail salons in the surrounding area but Nail Pro is at the top of my list. I come every 2-3 weeks to get my mani & brows done $18 for a pedi, $25 for a mani&pedi with regular polish. I went here after a long hiatus of not getting my nails done. I was originally going to get gels, but the lady told me to try sns, since its healthier and longer lasting. I tried it, and i loved how they came out. The shape and color was exactly what i wanted. Two weeks later, my nails still looked great, with no chips in sight! Eventually, i got the nail polish removed, and to my surprise my nails were DAMAGED. Ive never seen my nails this brittle, even when i used to get gels all the time. Had a great experience at Nail Pro last Thursday. They were able to accommodate me last minute on a Thursday night to get a gel set done. I was placed with Billy almost right away. Billy was fun and made sure I was comfortable during my session with him. I loved that we had a few laughs because some technicians are silent the entire time which makes your time there drag. I am not a very patient person when it comes to getting my nails done unfortunately. But it actually went fast. I know everyone recommends Bo but since I was a walk in, I was told I need an appointment to see Bo. He is apparently the celebrity technician at Nail Pro. I've been coming to Nail Pro for over 4 years. They do amazing gel manicures and they rarely ever chip after two weeks! My gel manicures usually last me 3 weeks. Huge selection of colors and they pair their gel polishes with the matching regular polish so you don't have to look for it when you want to get a matching pedicure. Do! Not! Bother! Today was my fourth time coming here and my absolute last time. The first time was good and I was content. Second time I walked in and wasn't acknowledged for 10 minutes so I walked back out and no one said anything. That should've been my last time but decided to give another try. The third time I was actually acknowledged but the tech was pretty clueless and I figured it was ok cause maybe she was new and I'm not that picky with my nails. So today I came back... Wow am I disappointed. I have been growing out my nails for the past 3 weeks to get them done for a very important upcoming event. I didn't have an appointment today which I understand but when I asked how long it would take for a tech to be available, I was told only a few minutes. A few minutes turned into 50 minutes. I let the owner know I had to leave so I was going to head out. She insisted I wait 2 more minutes only. 2 minutes turns into another 15 minutes. The owner finally seats me and starts filing my nails. She asks if I want my cuticles cut, never been asked before. Usually that's a given. She rushed removing my nail polish which she didn't fully remove. Then rushed through filing my right hand. When she got to my left hand she said she couldn't make my thumb too much of a square. I said I never even wanted square. She goes back to my right hand and starts filing down even shorter trying to make it round. She rushed my left hand too and nastily calls the tech over. My right hand is significantly shorter and square compared to my left hand. The length and shapes are so different I was so upset and didn't even let the tech continue. I let them know how unhappy I was and walked back out. I'm just in shock the owner was okay with doing just a poor job and rushing through just to get another customer in. I can expect this from a tech but not a business owner. Such a poor service and completely ruined my nails. I have never experienced such a bad service. I should have NEVER gone back and will never recommend this place. Stay far away. Owner clearly doesn't care about clients nor quality. Just after getting as many customers in. read more

I go to Violeta for all of my waxing needs. She's precise, quick, and doesn't hurt you. I don't trust my brows to just anyone...that's a relationship you have to build with someone. If she's not there I usually go to daisy as they're both very accurate in their techniques. They also give great pedicures! You cannot go wrong with Nail Pro, I've never had a bad experience. They make you feel welcomed, will always try to accommodate you as a walk-in if you don't have an appointment (though I usually always make one...but I have gone in on a whim too, for pedis and waxing), and they're competitive with pricing compared to other salons. After hearing about how great Nail Pro was for quite some time now and after talking to my friend who comes here all the time, I finally decided to come check them out. I called to make an appointment with Bo who I was recommended to but unfortunately he was booked up completely. I wanted to come to him because of his beautiful nail art designs and quality work. I arrived with my friend who was just getting a pedicure and was sat down to soak off my gels rite away. Once the gels were off I was explaining to the man that I wanted my nails to be a little thicker and asked if we could just do an extra coat or two of the polish. Instead he added UV gel on my nails that completely weakened them. I wasn't happy at all. The shape of my nails were lumpy and not smooth which really irritated me overall. I was then passed over to a woman who I was told that was going to paint my nails. I chose to get white nails with a marble design and asked if Bo could do the design. She tried to do the design for about 15 mins and finally I said I'm sorry but I just want Bo to do them so I waited about 20 mins for him to finish his client. The design he did was beautiful and I loved it. He pays very close attention to detail which is really great. About a day after the stripe design with nail tape that had been applied on my nail came off and the top coat started to peel. I paid $50 that day to get my nails done and just two days later they were already falling apart. If I ever decided to come back here I would only go to Bo who you have to book a week in advance just to get a spot with him. His work is absolute quality and he gets 5 stars in my book. I went back to my normal nail salon just a week after having my nails done here and they told me that they weakened my nails so much that they have to give them a week off to heal. If you are getting regular gels there's no need for the use of a nail power tool. That should only be used when shaping acrylic nails. read more

Went in on Saturday for a dip manicure, by Sunday morning half of my nails had chipped. I saw they were closed but chose to give them a call anyway and spoke to a woman who told me to just come in Monday to have them fixed. I explained that I don't live in NJ and was just in town for a concert and was hoping for a refund since my nails look terrible less than 24 hours later. She told me there was nothing she could do and kept insisting I would just have to come in on Monday, despite me explaining that I would be hundreds of miles away and not returning to the area. Absolutely nothing was done to address my problems and I was rudely told I should have said something when I was in the store if I was unhappy. The nails looked fine when I was there, clearly their service and products were terrible to have them chipping only hours later. It is now Monday and I have no refund and 10 chipped nails that look horrible. And to top it all off, she hung up on me. Don't go to this nail salon. read more

I had been to this place several times with no major complaints besides that nail art isn't their lane and appointment times are meaningless (also a pedicure can take an hour and a half). It seems it has been taken over by new management as the Mai and the other main nail tech were gone. Violetta did my nails. I had to get my gels taken off as I am about to move and needed shorter nails. I've been taking vitamins and growing my nails, they had never been healthier. Now I am in pure agony. The person who did my nails filed them down past the gel to my actual nail bed. I was uncomfortable during the process and in pain but thought it was sensitivity from the removal process. No. I have no nails left but extremely thin, brittle and cracking nails. I am in so much pain I can't open a plastic bag. I would either avoid this place entirely (the smallest color collection I've ever seen) or proceed with a lot of caution. read more
