Great service all the time with super nice and friendly staff and Jenny is always accommodatingread more

There isn't a shortage of nail salons. What makes a salon stand out is their service, consistency,…read moreand reasonable pricing. I've been coming to Elite Nails for over 5 years for these exact reasons. It's located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking in a lot. The salon is small and a little outdated. It could use a paint job and new flooring, but at least it's not unsanitary. There's around 6 pedicure chairs and 6 manicure stations. If you want a luxurious ambiance, this isn't the place for you. Their prices are very fair and lower compared to other salons in the area. I always get a gel manicure ($35) and regular pedicure ($23). There's plenty of nail colors and brands to choose from. Just a heads up, they don't do acrylics or very intricate designs. I always call to make my appointment and the owner, Joanna, is very accommodating. She's squeezed me in last minute with no issues. I don't recommend coming as a walk-in because they are usually booked. The best nail techs are Joanna and John. I usually go to John. He's gentle, has good attention to detail, and works efficiently. He doesn't rush and ensures I'm happy with my nail length, shape, and color. As a client of over 5 years, I've had a mix of good and bad experiences with other techs. Some are more experienced than others. My biggest pet peeve is getting my cuticles cut, so once that happens... I lose my trust! I'm not as picky with my toes, so I'm happy with any tech doing my pedicure. The ladies are really sweet and make my feet look ~pretty~ The quality of their nail products are great. My polish lasts for a looooooong time and doesn't chip or lift. They even have a rewards system. Gain points for every $ spent and you get free services. Looking forward to my next appointment!

I'm extremely disappointed with this nail salon. The service was unprofessional, they rushed me and…read morea second technician came to "help" she didnt even sit and imagine the kind of job she did. My nails were caked on and looked terrible and when their staff made a clear mistake during my appointment, I was promised a refund. It has now been more than two weeks, and not only have I not received the refund, but they also stopped responding to my emails entirely. It's very frustrating to be told one thing in an email and then be ignored afterward. Communication and accountability matter, especially in the service industry. Unfortunately, this experience showed a lack of both. I would not recommend this salon based on my experience.

First time here and Mia (?) was great. I believe she said her name was Mia but now I'm not sure…read moresince I couldn't find that name on the site to rebook. She was attentive and had nice, calm energy. She paid attention to detail and I loved both my gel manicure and gel pedicure. I will definitely return despite the pretty high prices here, with a 20% tip it was almost $140 total for a regular gel mani & pedi and my nails were bare, meaning I had nothing on them. Is this normal? I don't do my nails enough to know. Why not 5 stars? The pedicure space here isn't the most comfortable. It isn't the kind of massage chair where you can lean back and relax so it doesn't offer the comfort and relaxation that I've grown to expect while getting a pedicure. Overall good experience. They are thorough and efficient which I love.

I had the best experience. This place was very very clean and peaceful. When I walked in, I got…read moresuch a warm welcome, which was very nice. Before I drove over I called to make sure that they had any availability and they did on a Saturday afternoon. Grace had such meticulous attention to detail. She continuously checked in on me to make sure that I was comfortable every step of the way. It was quiet and peaceful such a huge difference from the nail salons that I have gone to previously. Also, during my service I was offered coffee, tea or water. At the end of my service, she used a collagen hand glove and a hot towel. The price was extremely reasonable, and I will definitely be returning.

In the past gel X has given me contact dermatitis so I made them stop in the middle of my service and they took it off. I ended up going across the street to get my acrylics and they did a wonderful job, but my cuticles are messed up and VERY irritated from the gel X and itchy and my contact dermatitis is coming back. (refer to the pic, the did not do the nail set.) I wish they would've been honest from the beginning and not money hungry enough to lie to me about the service they're doing on MY nails. never going back and would not recommend. They did apologize a lot though for what it's worth

If you're thinking about getting a gift certificate from here I would ask what the policy is. I was…read moregiven a gift certificate from a friend for my birthday that expired a week after it was given to me and didn't know that when I went to use it in November. They didn't tell me it was expired while I was there, let me use half of it, then crossed out the expiration date and made it a date in expire 10/30/25. I was unaware they back-dated it because I was in a hurry to put it in my pocket since I was in rush. Fast forward to today, I went to use it and obviously it wasn't honored because of that new date. I understand that it expired and of course I'm fine not using it since it's completely my fault. It was just the most bizarre experience because 1. No one mentioned it was expired the first time I was there (which I would have been fine paying for my pedicure if someone explained that to me instead writing in a new date so couldn't use it again) Also I'm just not sure why they would give me back a gift certificate that I can't use anymore or never mention that it was expired. 2. What kind of place has a 1 week or 1 month expiration date? (Thinking about it I'm wondering if it the date a typo since it was handwritten because most places around here have a 1 year expiration date when I buy them or am gifted them.) Also my nails were different lengths and the polish I used developed white spots on top (it was a light purple) With so many wonderful places in Montclair, I would definitely consider buying a gift certificate somewhere else with a longer expiration date, a more clear policy, or somewhere that will take the time to explain these dates and policies if you have an issue like I did if you are looking to purchase a gift.
