I had to ask her 3 times to stop filing my pinky nail bc it was cut & bleeding. I asked for almond shaped nails, after filing my nail down to nothing she figured out she doesn't know how to do almond. So I said fine do round- apparently square is all she knows. At this point I take the file myself & shape my own nails- the owner just walks in the back room (try taking over or training your technician properly!) The craziest part is they wanted to charge me! I asked for a strong massage (she didn't do it and had an attitude that she could care less - the chip on her shoulder was the size of Texas). The place does not provide hot stones for a regular pedicure while other nail salons do. I called the owner (Irene) to let he know that my gel manicure started to peel off a little over a week after I had gotten it done. Additionally, my cuticles were raw on some nails from Lia over filing. I was out of town on business and was not returning until the following week and asked about having it redone. She gave me a stern "NO" since it would be after the 2 week time since my last manicure. After explaining over and over again that I was not around therefore I was unable to come sooner to get it fixed., I was met with the "I don't care attitude." Moreso, it should not have happened to begin with. She out and out refused to do anything, which is horrible business practice. This seems to be a money grab for her as she has no customers the couple of times I have been there. The place is nothing special when you walk in as it looks and feels like many other nail salons. Additionally, my son went for a pedicure and the employee spent all of 10 minutes. I looked at the clock. When I told Irene this, she told me "no." A pedicure for a child takes longer than 10 minutes. Totally disgusted! What a waste of time and money!! Go elsewhere. There are plenty of other places to choose from. I was able to find a nail salon close to where I was staying on my business trip and they did a phenomenal job! You can't compare. This place is a ripoff, the help is terrible regarding attitude as well as service (including the owner). As a business owner, she has alot to learn. Upon returning home, I have an appointment set up with a place that has clients who expect only the best. Happy to drive to receive the service that equates to the price. It's all about knowing your worth.
