Don't be alarmed, Hanah is no longer available at this salon. However, I just had my nails done by Reyna and I'm pleasantly surprised. She takes her time and makes sure you love the shape. I'm extremely picky so I was nervous when the owner told me that Hanah's no longer with them, but gave Reyna a shot (she's actually done my nails once before too and I was happy). Originally had uv gel on but was thinking of taking it off and doing dip powder. I had a crack in my left thumb nail I wanted to take everything off and cut my nails down. But was told I could to do a refill, when asked about shape I asked for coffin but not too much. More of a natural coffin. As she filed my thumb she basically filed the crack away causing the shape to shift to the right. I guess that was her way of fixing the crack. As the process went on I was watching her drill down the old gel and she told me to look at my phone and when she's done drilling and shaping she'll have me look at them. She sounded very confident in her work, so I let her do her thing. Come time to check the shape, the right hand came out ok but the left hand the pictures just tell you. One side is curved and the other is straight. And she kept saying it was as ok from her angle but when she looked from mine she said it's just the angle. She asked if shape and everything was ok, I said yes, but it wasn't, I said no because I didn't want her to file anymore because my skin was raw. As for design(look at inspo picture) I want the stars (super simple) and she's couldn't get it right so she went for snowflakes and then put glitter on top to cover up the snowflake read more

I have been going here for the past year. I HONESTLY tried to like this place but I am not going back. There is one older female manicurist who is very unhappy in her job, as if you are bothering her. In the past year, I have been stuck with her 3 times doing my gel manicure. Each of those times, she will paint your nails the color SHE wants to paint them.... never what you pick out. Close, but never what you asked for. And I mean, are you going to argue over a paint color? By that point, you are kind of held hostage in the chair, but you are left feeling completely aggravated. It ends up being an annoying and insulting experience. She also spent the visit criticizing and commenting on the length and shape of my nails. Like, what do you think I'm doing there? I am there to get a manicure! I am paying you to fix them! She makes you feel like she can't get you out of the chair quick enough. She also hurt me by aggressively clipping into my cuticle, causing pain. She's rude, and smug. ****Instead of soaking off the old gel, she grabbed the drill bit and ground it off. Using the drill should ONLY be done on fake/wrapped nails, not natural nails. It's a lazy short cut. She was in such a rush to get me out of there, she was inhaling the grinded dust particles, wouldn't use the suction table fan and it grossed me out. I mean, my dead nail and paint particles were in her hair and were flying up her nose. GROSS! Also, any time I ever had the guy do my nails, he is so extremely rough, it's like he's going to hack your nails off with the drill bits and tools! Rolling your knuckles and twisting your fingers. I mean, it's like .... take it easy for cryin out loud! Why are they so angry in there and or.... what is the rush? Absolutely zero personal touch, I never had people work on my nails in lightning speed, they want you out of the door as quickly as possible. It is so bizarre. I mean, this is Bergen County. There is a nail salon on every corner. Wouldn't you want to go out of your way to make your customers feel comfortable and happy? Why did I keep going back, giving them another try again and again? Thinking "maybe they were having a bad day"? To be fair, I have had excellent pedicures here, however. And there used to be a guy who would give excellent shoulder massages, but he's gone. The space itself is roomy and there is a very clean bathroom. There were a few really good visits here for me, but the last 3 visits, I left there feeling abused. Therefore, I will not be going back. Do yourself a favor, go to any of the other 20 salons in the 5 mile radius. read more

I recently got my nails done at a salon down the shore since I'm down here for the summer, and I realize now that I take Nails Plus for granted. Sharon does a great job of being accommodating and running things smoothly, and my girl Reyna does the best manicures and pedicures. The pedicures always include hot oil on the heels as well as a hot stone massage. The shoulder massage is always so relaxing. Highly recommend Nails Plus! read more

This place is hands down the best pedicure in Bergen County! I'm extremely particular and they really do an amazing job for the price. You will get a LONG massage, hot stone massage, paraffin, etc all for the price of $25, whereas at other places, they will charge you for a "Spa Pedi" and will be ridiculous. The gel manis here are awesome as well! Charlie is hands down my fave. He's fast, efficient, and my nails never chip. HIGHLY recommended. read more

She took me right away. Then I went right to the mani station for my gels. I came from VA to NJ for a wedding and needing my nails done, I usually get them done 2X a month but didn't have time to get them done prior to coming up for the wedding. Found this place, went in and it looked nice. I'm not sure if the experience I had was just because of the technician but I spent a good amount of money of a French manicure and within 2 days 3 nails were chipped and within 5 days 2 nails are broken. The women filed my nails so short I thought I was not going to have a nail anymore, my nails were healthy, and thick and now their breaking and brittle. I spent good money and my manicure sucked and barely lasted 2 days and now I have to wait weeks for my nails to go grow back longer and thicker because she filed them down like there was no tomorrow. read more

Go to the men who work here. They are amazing and I always leave feeling more relaxed after their massages. The regular pedicure is better than most spa pedicures I've had. They have a great color selection for both regular nail polish and gels. I always get gel nails and a spa pedicure. Usually spend 3-4 hours there between the two but it's so so worth it. On the positive side, this is a bright and clean facility. However the nail technicians who worked with me lacked good technical skills, there was also a tremendous language barrier given that the shop is Asian owned but the techs who worked on me spoke Spanish which created a lot of communication issues. I am also unclear about their sterilization practices of the tools between clients as I did not see the technicians open new sterilized tools in front of me. Finally they appear to reuse files and buffers which is a big no no. Overall this was a disappointing experience particularly given that the techs were not good polishing either. read more

This is an update. My last review I still stand by but this time I took my mom and aunt to get pedicures together because I loved it the first timr - we had two of their Spanish technicians and one Korean older gentlemen - it did not compare AT ALL to the first time that I was there. They weren't friendly - barely smiled - didn't put that much effort into the exfoliation or massage or buffing of the heel (isn't that the whole point of a pedicure? Come on.) It was SUCH a disappontment. I feel like it's not too much to ask that there be some effort, especially with the kind of clientele I see coming through. I will have to make it a point to only see Gina next time I go and then will update again if my first experience matches my second experience with her. If not, this will have been yet another disappointing nail salon experience :( read more

I got an awesome gel mani & fantastic pedi!! Very pleased! My friend got a regular mani/pedi and was very pleased as well! The place was clean, the employees very nice! I only gave 4 stars because I've paid less at similar places, but this wouldn't deter me from going back at all. Went here to have a manicure. Salon was not clean, there were a lot of flies, and I watched an employee take one of the arm rests that they use for clients to rest their wrists while having their nails worked on to kill flies. Bonus, she put it back at the station without cleaning it. Disgusting.The whole experience was not good. I am giving this place two stars because the gal who finished my nails was very kind and did her best to make the experience a good one. I will not return to this salon. read more
