I tried this spa today for a pedicure and I enjoyed the service. They take your temperature at the door. All staff wear masks and there's glass around each seat at the drying area, polish stations, and massage chairs. They have a grand selection of polishes and offer plenty of spa services including facials and chair massages. I will be back to try their manicure services as well. read more

New to the area & realized not many places work with acrylic, so I decided to remove my acrylic nails & switch to gel. On a Sunday morning I walked into Flash, hoping not having an appointment wouldn't be an issue. I explained I wanted my acrylics removed, a gel manicure & a spa pedicure. Jenny was very accommodating - she set me up to soak & prep me while Jessica finished her client. Jenny removed all the acrylic & tips, then Jessica finished my gel manicure. I then had a spa pedicure ( so many to choose from) the pedicure tech was amazing, they don't rush, which I really like. Overall, I gave Flash Nail 5 stars for the great customer service & cleanliness. I already made an appointment to go back! Ok.... I tried a bunch of nail salons in the Ramsey Mahwah area. After trying this one, no idea why anyone would go to any other one. I had a manicure today- the place is wayyy bigger than it looks, very very clean. The girl took her time doing my nails. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, even with other people there it's not noisy and the employees don't chat loudly with each other. Now what made this extra special was when I sat down to get my nails done, another technician came over and massaged my shoulders for a few minutes. What a nice touch! The manicure came with keratin gloves and the pedicure looked very good I saw 3 people get it done. All in all, I will definitely be back. By far my favorite place in the area! read more

HORRIBLE experience. I will never go back. I went as a walk in and waited, which I expected. I was hoping to get a spa pedicure. They didn't offer me any other type of pedicure but offered the woman next to me. My pedicure was not even 15 minutes. She did the bare minimum. Acted like I was a burden. I have never been treated so poorly. Then I pay and it's $28?! For that? My 9 year old niece could do a better job. I have never paid that much for a pedicure in my life and it was the quickest and worst one I ever had. i didn't want to be a jerk and still tipped. I do not recommend this place at all. I will never go there again. I feel robbed and was treated horribly. I wish I could get my money back. read more

This is my go to place even though I don't live as close as I used to. They do the best mani/pedi by far, better than all the other places I have been in the area. They have a great selection of colors, and if you want gel, they have a book so you can see all the colors and you know that there is a corresponding regular nail polish color. The manicure. A pretty typical, really good manicure. They do a great job, nice little shoulder massage after they finish your nails, but one of the best parts is the warm keratin gloves they put on you when you finish. The plastic gloves come out of a warmer and they have a keratin lotion in them that makes your hands suuuper soft. Love it! I have never seen that anywhere else. The pedicure. Their basic pedicure includes a honey leg wrap and a hot stone massage. You can't get that in too many places without paying extra! They do have a full menu of spa pedicures, but the basic one is so great that I have never ventured out. I have been there on the later side and never feel rushed out. They're always busy, but never too busy that you have to wait a long time. They do a really great job there. The price is average $48 for a gel mani and regular pedi. You can't find it for much cheaper around here. I would definitely recommend Flash Nail & Spa! read more

Been looking for a new place to get my nails done since I just moved to the area and I finally found it! I got a regular pedicure and it was amazing. Total spa pedicure with leg wraps and a great massage - plus hot stones. My gel manicure came out great and they added some cute designs for Christmas. When my polish was done, they put hot lotion gloves on my hands and gave me a quick back massage. This place was an absolute 10/10 for me and I will definitely be returning! read more

I think the general population would agree that it is oh so necessary for the cuticles, massage, and filing have to be thorough. Overall, I had to prompt the pedicurist to do a few basic things. They also forgot to charge me $3 extra for a certain polish I got.... & they came to me and said I didn't pay... when it was their error to charge me. I already tipped the girls extra bc I had calculated the total cost plus tip. Needless to say, if they charge a client incorrectly, they should eat the loss as opposed to creating an uncomfortable awkward situation after the fact. Turned a decent experience into a "never again" experience. read more

Granted I walked in with acrylic nails and was forced to have them removed...I didn't need to walk out with bleeding cuts on at least 4 fingers and poorly shaped gels. They were closing so she was rushing to finish and I ended up with mismatched shaped nails....I asked for coffin and got fat round with crooked ends. And all for $80. Which I now have to go somewhere else to have them fix. read more

My pedicure was of better quality than my manicure, and I would think that the latter would be more easy to perform. Decent place for an okay manicure. However, when they removed my gel manicure, the lady was very rough and scratched my nail a good amount. When I got my regular manicure after that, it was very evident through the nail polish that the surface of my nails were rough and scratched up. That has never happened to me before. In addition, the ambience was not very relaxing. A couple of the korean ladies who worked there were speaking loudly and by the end, seemed to be in an argument. I passed by and decided to stop by and ask how much a simple French fill in will be. When I walked in, I didn't really receive an answer instead I was almost forced into a chair. I had a picture of the French tips with a design I wanted but the women kept asking me if I wanted a color instead- I said no. She still asked a couple more times. This nail salon is a hidden treasure in the corner of Ramsey Square. I have been going to Michelle every 2 weeks for a gel manicure for the past 18 months. She is a gem! Michelle has been nurturing my very thin, easily broken nails in to better health. Her manicures are gentle. I have also had a regular chair back massage from Mike while having my manicure and that has been great. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. It's difficult to find skilled technicians for UV gel. I'm happy to share my positive experience with Jessica at Flash Nail & Spa. She made sure I liked the length and shape and was meticulous. The fill lasted over 2 weeks. I went back and had the same results. Love the consistency. Prices are comparable to other salons. Got an added bonus of a free 10 minute massage (Mimi was awesome!)
