I visited this salon in search of places that offered gel x nails. When I called, they confirmed they could do it. They asked for the shape I wanted, which was square. The technician, Enzo, ended up using UV gel instead of gel x and didn't inform me about it when I asked about the length. Unfortunately, two of my nails fell off because he didn't glue it properly. I was then moved to Serena, who explained that Enzo chose UV gel instead of gel x. I had also scheduled a pedicure, but when I called for my appointment, they didn't have it on the system, so I had to wait 30 minutes until I was seen. The technician who did my feet was extremely rough when removing my gel polish but was surprisingly gentle when giving me a massage. I was very disappointed with the nails and the pedicure. My toes were sore afterward. I definitely won't be returning to this salon. read more

With all of the other salons in the neighborhood, no one needs to spend their money here. When business owners lie to get appointments, how do they expect to stay in business? Be honest: if a manicurist leaves the salon, explain to the customer so they have the opportunity to try another manicurist. I walked in at 6:30pm and they close at 7:30pm so I wasn't even sure they would take me. It was very nice that they took me and the place seems nice enough. They weren't rushing since there was no one there. I wouldn't say it was the worst mani/ pedi but I think if I tried hard I could have done as well or better on my own. They go out of their way to ensure your complete satisfaction and deliver to you whatever idea of what you wish your nails to look like when finished. This was my first visit to Bloomie and, while I the experience while I was there was good (clean, friendly, etc), I am disappointed with the quality of my gel manicure. I got my nails done on Friday and they already started to peel away as of Monday (really peeling today on Tuesday). When paying for a more premium product, I would expect them to last longer than a regular manicure and definitely beyond a few days. read more

I went in at 7pm. They close at 7:30pm. They were kind enough to still take me for a manicure. This was my first time at this nail salon. Manicure was $10. She did a good job overall. Cut, file, oil cuticles, push back cuticles, take away excess cuticle, spray nails with solution, lotion hands, clean hands with wet hot towel. She was polite. Did some very minimal small talk. Did not get her name. She looked over my nails and adjusted length to make even and painted polish on well. My only complaint is there was excessive air bubbles in the polish after drying. I received a manicure and pedicure which was just ok they need to sterilize and clean there tools better I hate seeing skin from a previous customer on cuticle cutters. Incompetent and Rude I'd been going here a few times and gotten mostly okay manicures / pedicures (although a few bad ones depending on who did my nails) when I dared to ask when they were planning to do my manicure after they left me sitting at a manicure station after my basic pedicure took over a hour, starting 5 other clients manicures who got to the salon well after me. The manager started complaining about me to the client next to me! When I confronted her about this, she said "well I have feelings too!" because apparently talking badly about your clients is totally cool, but asking when they'll actually get to you is the height of rudeness. read more

NEVER GO HERE! They are rude and my nails started to chip 1 day after I got them done. I went back to tell them and they said it wasn't their fault and I could pay to get them redone. Also when you get a pedicure they won't change the temp. of the water. I asked them nicely to change it because it was burning hot and they no. Flat out said no to my face. read more

I admit I have strayed a few times when I could not get a last minute appointment with Liz but every time I have come right back because she does a superior job. I have been going here on and off for the past few years. The staff is pleasant and the salon is very clean. I got a pedicure there about 3 weeks ago and it still looks pretty decent. I would have given them 5 stars, but I just got a gel manicure there on Thursday (it's now Sunday) and three nails have completely peeled off and several others have chipped.
