I left here months ago after a horrible customer experience mainly focused on Amy, the owner. However, I was given $90 in gift certificates so I thought that I would give it another try. Although they do a good job the experience once again was horrible, and I do not regret my choice of leaving this nail salon. My husband and I had 1 PM appointments for a couples pedicure and then I had a gel manicure appointment for immediately after. They were overbooked and understaffed and could not help us. They told us we could get pedicures, but we could not be near each other so we couldn't have that couples experience That we were looking for. However, they sat us in these two random chairs filled the pedicure bucket with water and left us there for 30 minutes. They clearly were not ready for us once again. Amy was not there and they were having such a difficult time accommodating people who had appointments. I do not recommend this nail salon. read more

Staff is always changing and now every one is new.The place was never painted or cleaned after new ownership and I can see that the customer traffic is down.This used to be a busy salon!! Since there haven't been any reviews since Covid-19 hit, I figured I'd write one. Went back today after they opened on June 22nd. I called and made an appointment (as now required). Went in, and there was 1 other person getting a manicure. I was seated for my pedicure right away. Pedicure was great, as usual. Now on the the important stuff: For the manicure station, they have heavy, clear plastic sheets partitioning off each section where the seats are. They also have plexiglass "walls" between you and the manicurist, with a hole you slide your arms in so they can do your nails. In the pedicure station, there are dividers that partition each seat. Of course, there is nothing between you and the pedicurist, but everyone had on masks so we should be safe. I admit, I was nervous about going in due to the on-going pandemic. But Heaven Nails definitely make safety a priority. Keep up the good work! read more

Will not return. Got a spa pedicure and also gel on my toes - and it is chipping off after only 2 days!! Gel manicure is still okay but the pedicure -terrible! I also don't like the service here. I've noticed they can be rude sometimes. A woman returned with an issue with her gel pedicure while i was there and she wasn't rude as she explained and they were rude to her and acted as if she were the problem. Customer service is lacking seriously and they do questionable things at times. . The woman got the gel polish on the top of my hand and then proceeded to try to file it off?! I said "are you serious right now? You can't be serious". She actually laughed but then used some solution and a cotton swab- like come on really? Weird vibes here. I spent almost $100 for a manicure and pedicure almost $60 on the spa pedicure alone and now I have to go get a pedicure somewhere else in less than 2 days? Unacceptable. I wanted to gift my Loving & Kind Daughter nail and foot treatment, so I brought her here for a Shellac Gel Manicure (w/ Soak Off), Pedicure & a Foot Massage. This place is clean and orderly, with incredibly comfortable seating that offers back massages while you're being pampered. The staff is cordial and amiable. Talia provided the Pedicure/Foot Massage service and what an exceptional service it was. My Daughter enjoyed her massage & pedicure...in other words, she had the royal treatment. Talia did a superb job. Serena did the manicure part. She was very gentle and professional. My Daughter was highly satisfied and content, and knowing that I had a part in that for my Daughter puts a smile on my face and warms my heart. I came here due to my nail emergency (I usually do them at home, no gel and definitely no acrylics). I had acrylics+ gel and couldn't stand them anymore. Pros: The ladies welcome you with smiles and prompt service. Their prices are awesome, a mani is $10- I was charged $20 in total due to my nail removal. The hand massages are great. They were confused as to why I wanted my nails off, as they perceived them to be beautiful, and suggested I get a fill-in. I rejected it and they proceeded to remove the foreign substances off of my nails.The woman was gentle and accommodating. I got a regular mani (filed and painted) and she gave me a quick massage as they dried under the fan. I received various compliments on my regular, yellow nails. Cons: The place is small and a bit cramped, but it is only an indication of their great service. The nail polish I chose chipped rather fast, but I did not mind, as I often paint my nails. First time customer. The place is clean and the lady who did my pedicure was very nice and did excellent work. I chose Daisy duo magenta color and I asked for the same color for my nails as I got on my toes. It wasn't until after I got out in the sun that the colors definitely weren't the same. I also feel like the gel manicure had so many layers and the nail is very thick with bumpy, noticeable brush strokes. I'm used to a 3-4 coat gel manicure and this was 6-7 coats total. Maybe this is just a different way it's done and I'm not used to it and maybe it helps is last longer!? Most of the lady's seemed very friendly but the woman who did the gel manicure didn't speak to me (maybe she wasn't having a good day and that's ok!) So let me begin by saying that I am one of those people that is loyal to whoever does my nails, eyebrows, hair etc and after one visit to this location, I jumped ship from my former Nail Salon. I ended up here because I was accompanying my mom who got a gift certificate for a Mani / Pedi so decided to just get my toes done with her so we can get some bonding time in. Little did I know that they used hot stones as part of their message during your pedi which felt pretty nice! My old place that I had been going loyally too for over 8 years never did this so I was happily surprised. I had also never tried Gel so after one of the girls urge I try it and found the Gel Color that I had already picked out for a regular mani, I decided sure why not give it a try. Needless to say I have been going to this location for the last 2 years. Only person I let touch my nails for gel is Sharon who always makes my nails look perfect!! What is also cute is that they gave out Holiday Gifts to all their customers. The first year they gave us cute little socks that allowed for your pedicure to dry while keeping your feet warm and the second year was a mobile holder for your car. I've been going here since I was in high school (I'm 25), and they have never disappointed me once. I don't have a specific girl, but every time I've gone in for a gel manicure I absolutely love it. Everyone does a great and detailed job. Their regular pedicure service is above and beyond the old places I've left behind. They use hot stones and heal gel, which is much more than other places do that are close by. I've recently been a few times since the pandemic hit, and they are very cautious. There are plastic curtains hanging in between each chair, and plastic windows at each nail station. They wash their hands before and after your service. Everyone wears a mask. I came here on a recommendation. I called my friend today and told her about my experience and that I would NOT be going back. I requested a gel manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was mediocre at best. My polish on my toes usually lasts for weeks, it's already peeling a week later. My gel manicure, which usually lasts AT LEAST two weeks, sometimes three, is peeling after a week. Furthermore, when I was there, the owner/manager was very rude not only to her employees but to customers as well. She had an argument with a woman about the quality of work while my nails were drying. If I had heard this behavior before my service I would have left. Men, if you even remotely gave a second thought about your hands and feet, you might have taken care of them occasionally. Wash with soap and water. Maybe a little lotion if you are dry. These women, however, have been monopolizing this great experience called a mani/pedi. For $20, a nice lady will trim and file your nails, and give your hands a massage. And she will wash your feet, and massage them, and use hot stones, and trim your nails, and overall make you +15 points better looking that you were when you walked in. It feels pretty damn good. It is freaking awesome. Don't worry; you will not be alone in this. At least 2 other men came in for the same business. You better tip these ladies because you are a gentleman and not a cheap scrub. My girlfriend can't stop making comments about how pretty my hands are, but I guess its a tradeoff for being awesome. --- Service was very prompt and very friendly. It seems that this place is fairly busy at all times. Very easy to get to and has lot parking. Pick up something to drink from the next door 7-11 if you are feeling thirsty since you might be in there for 30+ minutes. read more

I love this nail salon! The staff is very friendly and their prices are amazingly good. Their pedicures last me about a month! Their gel manicures last me for about 3 weeks. I recently started getting the crystal gel and it's amazing. It doesn't weaken your nails or leave the yellowish stain like regular gel does. I know most places charge about $90 & up but this place only charges $60 for your first set! Fill ins are $35! Like I said insanely good prices and they always do an awesome job. Located just across the Maywood border in Hackensack, it is situated in a non descript little strip mall right next to 7-11. Don't be discouraged but it's outward appearance. The good: -Essie and Opi polishes (I choose Opi Excuse Moi and it was a brand new bottle) - No hasty pedicures here. It was a full 25 minutes before they even started polishing my toenails. The pedicure was thorough and included everything that other places charge extra for like a long leg and foot massage, exfoliating scrub, foot "masque"...heel oil treatment. The polish was applied meticulously. And my absolute favorite: HOT STONE MASSAGE of legs and feet!!!!!! I cannot even believe that this is included in a standard, $18.00 pedicure. In total, the pedicure lasted approximately 45+ mins. The bad: -Small/narrow/cramped area where they do the pedicure -Hit or miss on the technicians, I have recieved great pedicure polishes and some pretty crappy ones -Aesthetically, not the prettiest salon Heaven Nails probably warrants and 3, but I'm a big fan of the hot stone massage so it gets a hot 4 from me. read more

i don't know what's the deal with NJ salons. the service, attitude and audacity after a customers says that aren't satisfied. the nail experience is hit or miss. my service is a standard mani and pedicure. i've witnessed women treated poorly when asking for a correction.. i've also experience hidden fees. i requested gel for an extended travel. when i returned, they charged 10 to remove gel without telling me the cost in advance. following, didn't allow it to soak which cause nail damage from the filing. horrible read more

My cousin and I had a terrible day. We had been in the hospital with our grandmother, and just wanted to get our nails done to relax. Not expecting more than a manicure, we got much more than we paid for. The staff was welcoming, friendly, supportive, talented and attentive. The price was too low for the quality. All good things come to an end. In the late Spring early summer this salon changed hands. I've been coming here for years and I was heartbroken to find out Lydia and her Husband were selling the place. For the first few weeks, things ran like normal. A few weeks after that all the old staff members who worked under Lydia were suddenly gone, Lindsay, Grace, Esther... all the girls I knew and had before who were really great.There's about two people left working from Lydia's crew and I have a feeling its because of the attitude of the new owner. The skills that were present under Lydia's Management aren't there. The new owner is constantly rushing the nail techs to speed up in order to serve more ppl and make more money. The constant rush leads to mistakes and the last few months I've heard a lot of girls dissatisfied with their nails. I go every 2 weeks for a gel mani & a reg. pedi, the last 3 visits alone I've heard ppl complaining about their cuticles not being cut, crooked acrylic/gel nails, nails painted the wrong color, nails filed/shaped incorrectly, and sloppy painting jobs. This store was NEVER like this under the old owners. I kept coming for the last few months hoping to see a turn around, but it just isn't happening. The manager is ridiculously unprofessional, I heard her talking to one customer when she first purchased about not having enough business. I've also heard her blatantly barking orders in her native tongue to the other nail techs....I totally understand speaking in the common language but her tone is SO nasty, she's very mean and I've seen some of the workers actually look so helpless because theirs no way for them to move faster. This, aside from being grossly unprofessional, doesn't fit the easy attitude I like to slip into when I'm spending money on pampering myself. The last 3 visits to the salon were by far the worse. One time I was in the chair for a pedicure, relaxing. Suddenly the manager sends someone over to start my Gel manicure, while the pedicurist is doing my feet. I couldn't enjoy my pedicure because the manicurist actually set up a UV machine on my lap meaning I couldn't read, use the massage chair, or genuinely relax and enjoy my leg massage because the lady was painting my nails while I was a getting my pedicure! Why? I had over an hour and a half before they closed. I made eye contact with the owner a few times in an attempt to get her over by me but she just looked at me and ignored me, she didn't care. Finally I asked the pedicurist to stop because I wanted to enjoy my pedicure and I wasn't going to be able to. This got the managers attention, she came over to me and starts telling me I should have told her I didn't want two services at once. Uh, why is this something I have to tell you? Why am I paying money so I can balance a heavy UV tray on my lap when you've got plenty of time until closing? It's seriously just about getting me out of the chair and out of the store faster. I was nice about it, just said sorry I prefer one service at a time. Went back for my next pedicure 2 weeks later and the owner did the EXACT same thing. 5 mins into my pedi she had someone come over and start soaking my nails in foils while I was sitting there. They actually put foils on every finger and then wrapped my hands in gloves. I couldn't read my book because I had foil fingers and I couldn't eat my snack. Again, there's the manager locking eyes with me across the store. I had to sit like that for 40 minutes. The last visit was the last straw. I was waiting for my pedi and there is an elderly nail tech whose easily in her 70's, and she only does manicures. The manager harshly told the elderly woman to start my pedicure. The woman flat out tells her "I no do pedicure" and the manager suddenly switches to another language and yells at this poor woman, I couldn't understand the words but I know what yelling sounds like. I'm sitting there like uh I'm good waiting, really... It was SO awkward, finally the older lady just sighs and leads me to the pedicure chair. We get started and its clear she has idea what she's doing, she's never done a pedicure before and I'm not about to correct her, I feel like I'm responsible for this lady getting yelled at, and its just awkward for both of us. She removes my polish, files and cuts my cuticles ...and then she just kind of looked up at me helplessly, smiles, and starts putting on my flipflops. This was a 15 minute pedicure and they're supposed to take 45 minutes for a the full service. The older woman didn't know about the hot stones, the hot towels, the lotion or any other part of the regular pedicure. The owner was well aware of what happened, as soon as she put on my flip-flops, the owner came and told the woman to start the next clients manicure and sent another girl to paint my feet. After my last visit I'm never going back there, the manager needs to take a training class and learn how to treat customers. She's just greedy. read more

I just love going to Heaven Nails. Serena is a perfectionist when caring for my nails. It gives me such a lift to walk out of this establishment knowing my manicure is beautiful and lasting. During this pandemic all employees are masked, separated by the required plastic partitions and plexiglass. The place is always clean and comfortable.
