I don't normally post my feet pics publicly, but this pedicure experience was so upsetting I feel like I have to share it. This was my third visit to this salon -- the first two were pleasant, which is why I came back. Unfortunately, this time was a huge disappointment. I got a pedicure and paid in full, tipping Jackie 20%. Afterward, I noticed a few of my nails were cut crooked and most of the polish was bubbling. A little bubbling is whatever -- but crooked nails are not. My toenails grow out slowly, so this really matters. Jackie didn't even ask if I wanted them cut square or round, but I certainly wasn't looking for a trapezoid shape. I brought this up to one of the workers and asked what we could do other than redoing it immediately -- I was already late for work after spending almost an hour there. She just said, "Your nails look fine to me, what do you want me to do?" Then, "Okay, I'll file them, but your nails are short already." I get that English might not be their first language, but the attitude was rude and dismissive. I wasn't even demanding a fix on the spot -- I just asked if I could come back the next morning. She rolled her eyes but finally agreed. Later, I realized I didn't trust them to fix it without cutting my nails even shorter -- they were already so short the skin of my nail plate was exposed (see pic). So I called to ask for a partial refund instead. The manager got on the phone and threatened to call the cops and said she'd post my picture on their website. I told her, "Please, go ahead -- I paid in full and tipped 20%." Then she backtracked and said I could come back to get it fixed. But no. The very least they could have done was apologize -- which never happened. Things might have gone differently if they'd just said sorry and shown a little respect. This was hands down the worst nail salon experience I've ever had. Lesson learned -- I'll stick to the places I've trusted for years. If you're the manager reading this, at least give me my 20% tip back. I'm paying someone else to fix your mess and there's no fixing the way you threatened me. Call the cops if you want, I'd love to see how that goes. read more

I have been going to the place across the street from Q nail for a while, but never really got a good service. One day I decided to give Q nails a try, and I have been going for a year now. Great service! Friendly, worked to fit me in on a Thursday at 5 pm when they were booked up. Went across the street first to Chic Nails- lady was rude, off putting, and blew me off. I left after she half told me to come back in 1 hour. Went directly across the street to Q Nails who accommodated me. The service was great! She took her time, cleaned me up, and gave me a great manicure and pedicure. Even a quick neck and shoulder massage at the end. I will be retuning here for sure. came here spontaneously after it was recommended to me by a friend for a pedicure. i was able to call and get a spot as soon as i arrived. the place is very clean and big. the staff is super sweet and took their time which i liked. they even set up the massage chair for me as well. the pedicure took about an hour and was $30 (not including tip). i genuinely really liked the experience, definitely recommend. i'll be back! read more

I recently started Orly gel with Silvia and I'm so happy with my nails. I have tried regular manis and other gel manis and they don't last long because I am hard on my nails. Silvia told me exactly what to expect and my nails lasted two weeks plus (only with grow out at the top). I appreciate that Q nails always runs on time when I make an appointment. I used to love this place. The staff is very friendly however service quality has declined. Last few times they didn't do a great job but I gave them the benefit of the doubt due to covid. Today though I was so so disappointed in my manicure. I came In mid day and it was not busy at all. The polish was so uneven and messy. She forgot base coat on one hand and didn't even cut cuticles. They didn't even offer to repaint my nails. I guess it's time to find a new salon. read more

I held back my inner Karen by not saying anything to the nail tech who did my horrendous pedi at the nail salon bc there was a lot of people there. UHM seriously my pedicure looked iffy from the start as I sat down to get my gel mani, but wasn't 100% sure bc of the lighting. It looked so BAD I ended up painting over some of the toes myself. Like bad bad when you accidentally put the top coat too early so it smudges bad - Luckily I had the same color at home. I feel scammed LOL. I paid someone $35 - $40 for something that looks like a 5 year old painted. NO JOKE. Save your money go elsewhere for a pedi. Nice place, but not THE place for a pedi. read more

I was skeptical of going to a new nail salon to meet a friend for pedicures, but once I walked into this salon all those feelings went away. My first impression - VERY CLEAN! The next thing I noticed, all of the staff had matching uniforms, which is pleasantly nice. Everyone was friendly, and we weren't rushed. I live about 15 minutes away; but I will definitely be back. Parking- street parking is free for two hours. Might have to go around the block once or twice, but you'll find parking. I came by here a few weeks ago with a coworker for pedicure and ending up getting a gel manicure as well. The place is a bit small but have a good amount of chairs for pedicures and manicures. There is no appointment necessary, which is always a plus. We were greeted right away and asked to pick our colors. Everything was very clean at this location and the employees were very attentive. The girl who did my gel manicure was great and friendly. My only wish is that they had more colors for regular pedis and mani. I found myself really not finding the color I wanted. My friend lives near this place and she made an appointment for all us to our nails done. This place has a serene feel to it and the environment was very relaxing. They had a pretty good selection of Essie and OPI nail polish here to choose from. Comparing the prices here to the city then this place is more expensive, $25 for a regular pedicure and the prices go up from there. I decided to go with the spa callous remover pedicure to get rid of all the nasty dead skin on my feet so it was an extra $10 but it was totally worth it! I used to love this place but since the last two times I've been there I had terrible manicures. I happened to get the same girl twice who did my mani and pedi and she cuts way too much cuticles, that my toes and fingers both bled. As she was doing my nails she asked if I wanted them cut and I said yes but before I can even tell her how short she already cut one way too short. After she saw my expression she asked is this length okay so I told her to just cut the rest the same since I didn't want them to be uneven. I used to love this place even if the prices are higher than other places nearby, but the quality of the salon is beginning to go down. I waited to come here a few times before reviewing Q Nail Boutique and it's been confirmed; 5 big ol' deserving stars - it most certainly is! Each time I was sure to use whichever professional was assigned to me even though I thought I fell in love on day 1. Each and every woman who's done my nails has done a phenomenal 5 star worthy job. The time and consideration they have in making sure everything is done properly is unlike any salon I've experienced and that's coming from a wildly unloyal salon customer. I'm always shopping around for someplace that gives me a reason to come back. Q is it! A place where you feel like you're treating yo'self without the guilt of spending too much money. I've never made an appointment and have never had a problem or minor complaint. In fact, it's 5 star worthy because I'm not sure what else you could ask for in a mani-pedi. So. I've been going here since I moved to leonia and have come here with my now 14 year old daughter. She went yesterday with a friend of hers who is fluent in Spanish and the language the women used to speak about the girls was abhorrent They recorded it and I verified with an adult that the girls were being honest So so nails at best but I was happy to tolerate. I've been coming to this salon for a couple of years. Up until my last 2 visits, I would have given 5 stars. I paid extra to rid my feet of callouses and was cut in 3 different places on one foot! The same visit I felt extremely rushed when it came time for my gel manicure. So, I decided to try again. This time, the same girl tried filing off the scabs that were still on my toe from her 3 weeks prior! Again, when it came time for my gel manicure, it was done too quickly! I have 3 nails with bubbles AND, 2 girls worked on me because a 'regular' came in for the girl who started my nails. I'm sorry....but I ALWAYS make an appointment. Don't 'fit me in' as a walk in. I got to the register and realized I had to tip 3 manicurists Yes, it's clean. But I'm tired of paying their prices and not getting #1 what I paid for and #2 being rushed and not able to relax. read more

I got a mani pedi and the lady cut my feet and made me bleed. When they did my manicure, the nail polish was chunky and they cut my nails jagged. Overall I had an awful experience and this store is an abomination to human society. They did not get a tip nor did they deserve one. read more

Was there today and was totally ripped off. $50 for a pedicure with callous removal. They won't get my business anymore. I am a nurse and need to take care of my feet. I received A gift card for $25, if figured it's enough for a pedicure. I thought an additional $8.00 for callous removal, which is fair. I get done with a mediocre pedicure at best, and they are speaking Spanish at the register and asking for $ 50. I told them that that was a lot. They said that's what they charge. I came here just a walk in customer just to try their service and compare to the nail salon I always visit. The place is very neat and classy for a nail salon but the service is poor I'm supposed to have pedicure & manicure but the way the lady do my pedicure so quick and I'm not satisfied I cancel my manicure she didn't even remove all the dry skin around nails and even scrub properly my foot. I end up paying $25 + gratuity for pedicure but my foot still needs to go to another nail spa salon don't come here...
