I came across this nail salon in my search for a new salon. I've been trying so hard to find a good luxury feel salon & this is the perfect fit! Visited this nail salon recently and was impressed by their cleanliness and attentive staff. They were meticulous with both their services and explaining their prices, which I appreciated. I forgot the lovely lady name who did my pedicure, might have been the owner but she did great to detail and providing me with a relaxing experience. Jenny did my manicure and that girl did not quit till she got it perfect !!! I love that, especially when you're paying for something to last! I love the detail and caring to my little mistakes I want fixed. Overall, I will be coming again! ** fyi meter parking with parking app or quarters read more

Avoid avoid avoid! I left wanting to cry. For pedicure.. The woman made my nails the weirdest wonky shape and completely cut off my pinky toe nail. And the polish... it looked like she was forming mountains & just a sloppy pile of polish. it was extremely streaking and such a mess. Kindly asked they remove and left. Not one to leave reviews but this was my worst experience by far read more

Very clean, affordable. Anna and the rest of the staff are very nice and accommodating. My gel nail chipped within a few days and they were able to accommodate me right away to fix the issue. Have been going here for over a year and would highly recommend over the other places in the area read more

I don't think I've ever had a better nail experience! Today was my first time at the spa, I called at 11:15 and was able to secure a spa pedi and gel mani by 12pm on a Saturday. Everyone was so friendly as soon as I walked in, and the salon is very cute and cozy. Very wide selection of colors! My spa pedicure was absolutely wonderful and my technician was very thorough and did a great job shaping and painting my nails. My heels were in rough shape and they are smooth as anything now! She also did my gel manicure which she even took the time to double check all my nails were the same length, which I absolutely loved. Every patron in there was happy which is always a good sign! I did also get my armpits waxed which they were quick to accommodate when I asked which was awesome. However, the wax room was a very awkward set up.. Despite this, I will definitely be returning as everything else was an A++ ! read more

This is my go-to nail salon! The nail technicians are super nice and they stock good quality gel nail polishes from Korea. I always pick the gel polishes that are $5 or $10 extra because they really do last longer. I wish my nails would grow slower because the gel stay perfectly full and complete on the nail. The salon is clean and well decorated. They always play the top 40 pop music playlist that is popular in the 2010s on the TV. I do notice that they use new pumice pad and filer for your service and disinfect their tools, definitely a big plus! They usually have 4-5 technicians working but I would recommend to call or make online reservation ahead of time to secure a spot. They can get busy at normal working hours. Meter parking is on the main street which is pretty available all the time. read more

I've been to several nail salons in the area, and AMPM is by far the best. Anna, the owner, is very kind and detail oriented. I made an appointment, and there was a walk-in customer who came in while I was getting my nails done, and Anna did not rush and even re-did a few nails in order to perfect it. She doesn't try to make you get the most expensive things but rather helps you get exactly what you envision. You can tell she attends to the customer in front of her! Very personable as well. Highly recommend. read more

Sadly I came here to do my nails on my birthday. I'm guessing not all the nail techs in this salon have the same skill level. My nails came out very sloppy after I was forced to do a different kind of base for my nail which was more than the original builder gel manicure I wanted.the nail tech send it would be better for my nails. I didn't want to cause a scene in the nail salon so when asked how I liked my nails at check out I simply said they weren't my fav and looked a bit sloppy while still paying and tipping . Once I left and saw my nails in the sun light they were worse than I even originally thought. I called back to ask for a refund and was offered a free mani for another day . I was not interested in returning and asked for a refund which the lady on the phone said she could not do .I obviously won't be back. Update - establishment was supposed to get back to me with a refund. Due to me leaving a review they no longer will provide a refund. Since my manicure 3 nails have broken regardless of me doing the service she forced me to stating it will last longer and each and every nail is chipped read more

LOVEEE my nails! I had my nails done by Anna. She was very sweet and really put attention to detail. I know drawing stars/diamond things by hand is difficult, Ive gone to others where I was less impressed. I also saw that they had some of their tools individually wrapped for covid safety which is a super plus in my book. I was veryyy happy with Anna's work, my nails are clean and pretty~~~ read more

5 star quality and creativity. Love these ladies. They never fail to make me love my nails!!!

If you live in this area, we all know how pricey keeping up with our nails can be. And when you try out a cheaper spot you only leave disappointed because the work just isn't good. I came across this salon on yelp and decided to give it a try because of the prices and good reviews. You will not find these prices around here. I assumed it wouldn't be as good as the other salon I go to (because they charge more) but I was GENUINELY more happy with my nails from AMPM Spa than the other ones I been to. Anna did my gel manicure and idk if the pictures show enough but I absolutely love it. Everyone that saw my hands asked me which salon I went to. You know when people write it down or screenshot the salon page on their phone after you tell them because theyre ACTUALLY going to go instead of just making convo? Yeah, all the ladies at work did that. Go show this salon some love because they have much love to show you. New equipment, great products, and very clean. Thank you Anna and staff at AMPM Nail Spa, you guys are amazing and I will most definitely be coming here from now on. Please dont ever leave us. read more

I've been going to AM/PM Nail Spa for several months. I always go to Maria as my preferred nail/pedicure person. Maria is very sweet, friendly and is very serious about her work. Made an appointment online. Super simple. Went in as the very first appointment. The staff was super nice and welcoming. Nail artist came in a few minutes after me. She was kind and lively. Finds speaking Korean easier than English. I showed her my Pinterest interest and she easily obliged. During our session, we gabbed. I learned that she owned a nail salon in South Korea, where she was trained. Omg guys please don't gatekeep this gem! Nail art education in Korea and Japan are on a different level than the basic ones in the US. Her dots were precise (I wanted a floral design cuz I was anticipating this spring of 2023.). Experience there: pleasant and polite employees Lasting quality: HORRIBLE Got powder gel and they started chipping less than one week. Got them on a Saturday and started chipping on the following Thursday and powder gel's supposed to go for at least two weeks! Called them to see if they can squeeze me in just to soak my nails and explained to them I don't live in Jersey so I can only go Saturday. Receptionist was very nice and apologized and kept asking if I can come in on a Friday... I expained again I don't live in Jersey and if I go in on a Friday I can't make it before they close. She then asks if I can come in Friday before they close then proceeds to say that she'll have the owner call me.. Not too sure if the owner calling me will get my nails fixed but don't get powder gel here. $45 for powder gel isn't bad but I guess you get what you pay for.. read more

I had a lovely experience at this gorgeous nail salon. This was my first time and I am already looking forward to my next appointment. AMPM uses high-end nail products and have very creative and artistic nail technicians. I gave Anna a design idea and she executed it perfectly, even better than I imagined! I wanted to also mention Anna's great customer service. I was having an issue with the Parking App (I'd encourage you to bring quarters) and she went ahead and added $/time on the meter for me so could relax and start my services on time. All around great experience. read more

This place is clean, new and organized. Staff are all nice, however- I originally went in for color gel manicure (should have been 35$). When I was explaning design I like which I typically ask of other nail salons which does not add extra costs just because of using other color nail polish so just equates to same material cost. I was told the design I like will be 70$. I went on with it to try out their service.. When I left and my nails are dry and started to inspect it, the glitters were bumpy and edgy-sharp, the drying oil dried up as lumps on some of my nails looks ugly to be honest. So i felt like I could have paid 50$ from other places to get better nails done. I wont be back to this salon sad to say. read more

AMPM NAIL SPA - Exactly what I asked for!!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Fort Lee, New Jersey

I came for the good reviews and stayed for the excellent service. After moving to a nearby neighborhood, I was in search of a new nail salon for monthly manicure/pedicures. Good Yelp reviews led me to try AMPM Nail Spa and my experience exceeded my expectations. I had a pedicure with Maria, who softened my feet and applied a beautiful red polish. She also gently and painlessly removed an ingrown toenail that had developed last year when I was pregnant and ignored since then. The foot massage was exactly what my mama feet needed too. Olivia did my red polish manicure. She was quick and careful and the polish lasted for almost one week. Overall, I was very happy with AMPM and will be returning very soon. read more

Attached are two pictures of my nails! The one with pink nail polish no gel is my before. I've always had healthy nails. I was going on vacation and got gel nail polish done. I came back from vacation and went to this salon to get gel removed and regular manicure. The women who helped me to take of my gel polish ...used this round machine to take off gel and completely ruin my nails. It's going to take forever to grow out and fix. HORRIBLE. Never going back here my nails have been in pain and are completely weak. Inexperience in taking of polish and I do not recommend. It was the women on the first desk when you walk into the salon. I normally don't give negative feedback on Yelp... I know small businesses are struggling. But today's experience was horrendous and unacceptable. I usually go to this nail salon on Sundays. Today was my 3rd patronage which was for UV gel removal. After Anna was done with another client, she signaled me to take a seat at her table. The table was not cleaned nor sanitized before she started working on my nails. I let that go... I get it she's busy managing the store and taking clients. Since she had another client after me... still rule 101, keep your station clean... As she filed my nails with the e-filer, she warned me the nail filing might hurt. I responded okay. I jumped slightly off my seat because I felt burning sensation on my right pinky nail and she jumped too. It was that split second that happened. She looks at me and asked why didn't you tell me that it hurts?! I responded my body just naturally reacted to the burn. I didn't do that on purpose. Instead of apologizing, she goes on in the same speed. I told her my nails hurt, she replied it's going to because I have to file with this e-filer and I'll file manually when I get close to finish... I didn't want to say anything further because something seemed off. I thought why not adjust the speed? It was obvious, there was another client waiting... I noticed my right pinky nail had a hole where I felt the burn. I told her I see my nail surface. She responded it's not your nail and it's the UV gel. This is where the DRAMA starts: I told her nicely my nails hurt, especially my pinky nail. She says something in a low tone. I asked her why did you say. That's when she puts down the e-filer and with her laser eyes she talks back at me in an informal Korean language. I responded back why are you talking to me in this manner? She allegedly claims I talked to her in informal language first... out shock I paused for a second. I asked her when... besides how can you treat clients like this? I told you my nails hurt but you kept on going. Instead of apologizing and adjusting the speed, she acted unprofessional and arguing with me. Then you claim my pinky nail is fine, when I'm the one feeling the PAIN!". I asked some one else to do my nails. She had a worker that doesn't have license to do gel nail service. I asked is she licensed to do this work. Clearly not, because her license is not on the wall. So another employee walked over and apologized and said she will take over. No apologies from Anna at that point, she walked away. As I was getting my service by the other licensed technician, Anna walked over to apologize (protocol), which at this point the damage was done. The way she treated me and her behavior directed me to share my experience. They offered me on the house service "free of charge". I declined and paid. It's matter of principle. Anna knew she crossed the line. No way should anyone talk and behave to clients in the manner she did. Talking back informal language and then bickering to clients - I am still lost of words... This should have not happened in the first place. Nail salon is a service industry. Even if you had a bad day, never take out your emotions to anyone. Be professional. I guess I was her target... read more

So far this is the best nail Salon In Hudson county. I came in for a UV gel and stayed for pedicure as well. The place is pretty new and extremely clean. They use new filing sets on each client. They have an amazing selection of colors to choose from and they don't rush you. I didn't know which color to select but the lady that did my nails was so sweet she suggested I try 2-3 colors. The owner checked in few times to Make sure I'm happy with their work. Their pedicure is only $27 and by far the best I got in this area. I will be back for sure when it's time for my refill. They are open 7 days a week which is great if you can't go during the week they are available even on Sundays. I hope this place gets more business because they really make an effort to make the customer happy. read more

New salon on Main street. Amazing and clean salon. Great decor. Great music. Amazing service. I can't even believe I am this lucky to find another gem on Yelp! They took me right away and had really nice pedicure chairs. The staff is very friendly and everyone helped to make me comfortable. They asked if I wanted coffee or tea and offered to help start the massage chair. I am in nail salon heaven! No chemical smell here. It just smells like lotion and leather (from the massage chairs).
