Visited this nail salon recently and was impressed by their cleanliness and attentive staff. They were meticulous with both their services and explaining their prices, which I appreciated. I don't think I've ever had a better nail experience! Today was my first time at the spa, I called at 11:15 and was able to secure a spa pedi and gel mani by 12pm on a Saturday. Everyone was so friendly as soon as I walked in, and the salon is very cute and cozy. Very wide selection of colors! My spa pedicure was absolutely wonderful and my technician was very thorough and did a great job shaping and painting my nails. My heels were in rough shape and they are smooth as anything now! She also did my gel manicure which she even took the time to double check all my nails were the same length, which I absolutely loved. Every patron in there was happy which is always a good sign! I did also get my armpits waxed which they were quick to accommodate when I asked which was awesome. However, the wax room was a very awkward set up.. This is my go-to nail salon! The nail technicians are super nice and they stock good quality gel nail polishes from Korea. I always pick the gel polishes that are $5 or $10 extra because they really do last longer. I wish my nails would grow slower because the gel stay perfectly full and complete on the nail. The salon is clean and well decorated. They always play the top 40 pop music playlist that is popular in the 2010s on the TV. I do notice that they use new pumice pad and filer for your service and disinfect their tools, definitely a big plus! They usually have 4-5 technicians working but I would recommend to call or make online reservation ahead of time to secure a spot. They can get busy at normal working hours. I normally don't give negative feedback on Yelp... I know small businesses are struggling. But today's experience was horrendous and unacceptable. I usually go to this nail salon on Sundays. Today was my 3rd patronage which was for UV gel removal. After Anna was done with another client, she signaled me to take a seat at her table. The table was not cleaned nor sanitized before she started working on my nails. I let that go... I get it she's busy managing the store and taking clients. Since she had another client after me... still rule 101, keep your station clean... As she filed my nails with the e-filer, she warned me the nail filing might hurt. I responded okay. I jumped slightly off my seat because I felt burning sensation on my right pinky nail and she jumped too. It was that split second that happened. She looks at me and asked why didn't you tell me that it hurts?! I responded my body just naturally reacted to the burn. I didn't do that on purpose. Instead of apologizing, she goes on in the same speed. I told her my nails hurt, she replied it's going to because I have to file with this e-filer and I'll file manually when I get close to finish... I didn't want to say anything further because something seemed off. I thought why not adjust the speed? It was obvious, there was another client waiting... I noticed my right pinky nail had a hole where I felt the burn. I told her I see my nail surface. She responded it's not your nail and it's the UV gel. This is where the DRAMA starts: I told her nicely my nails hurt, especially my pinky nail. She says something in a low tone. I asked her why did you say. That's when she puts down the e-filer and with her laser eyes she talks back at me in an informal Korean language. I responded back why are you talking to me in this manner? She allegedly claims I talked to her in informal language first... out shock I paused for a second. I asked her when... besides how can you treat clients like this? I told you my nails hurt but you kept on going. Instead of apologizing and adjusting the speed, she acted unprofessional and arguing with me. Then you claim my pinky nail is fine, when I'm the one feeling the PAIN!". I asked some one else to do my nails. She had a worker that doesn't have license to do gel nail service. I asked is she licensed to do this work. Clearly not, because her license is not on the wall. So another employee walked over and apologized and said she will take over. No apologies from Anna at that point, she walked away. As I was getting my service by the other licensed technician, Anna walked over to apologize (protocol), which at this point the damage was done. The way she treated me and her behavior directed me to share my experience. They offered me on the house service "free of charge". I declined and paid. It's matter of principle. Anna knew she crossed the line. No way should anyone talk and behave to clients in the manner she did. Talking back informal language and then bickering to clients - I am still lost of words... This should have not happened in the first place. Nail salon is a service industry. Even if you had a bad day, never take out your emotions to anyone. Be professional. Finds speaking Korean easier than English. I showed her my Pinterest interest and she easily obliged. During our session, we gabbed. I learned that she owned a nail salon in South Korea, where she was trained. Omg guys please don't gatekeep this gem! This place is clean, new and organized. Staff are all nice, however- I originally went in for color gel manicure (should have been 35$). When I was explaning design I like which I typically ask of other nail salons which does not add extra costs just because of using other color nail polish so just equates to same material cost. I was told the design I like will be 70$. I went on with it to try out their service.. When I left and my nails are dry and started to inspect it, the glitters were bumpy and edgy-sharp, the drying oil dried up as lumps on some of my nails looks ugly to be honest. So i felt like I could have paid 50$ from other places to get better nails done. I wont be back to this salon sad to say. read more

I came back from vacation and went to this salon to get gel removed and regular manicure. The women who helped me to take of my gel polish ...used this round machine to take off gel and completely ruin my nails. It's going to take forever to grow out and fix. HORRIBLE. Never going back here my nails have been in pain and are completely weak. Inexperience in taking of polish and I do not recommend. It was the women on the first desk when you walk into the salon. She also gently and painlessly removed an ingrown toenail that had developed last year when I was pregnant and ignored since then. The foot massage was exactly what my mama feet needed too. So far this is the best nail Salon In Hudson county. I came in for a UV gel and stayed for pedicure as well. The place is pretty new and extremely clean. They use new filing sets on each client. They have an amazing selection of colors to choose from and they don't rush you. I didn't know which color to select but the lady that did my nails was so sweet she suggested I try 2-3 colors. The owner checked in few times to Make sure I'm happy with their work. Their pedicure is only $27 and by far the best I got in this area. I will be back for sure when it's time for my refill. They are open 7 days a week which is great if you can't go during the week they are available even on Sundays.
