Ever since I've been getting facials here, my skin has improved drastically. I literally travel all the way from across the bridge from Washington Heights NYC to come here and get my facials- that's how good it is! I've been coming here for the last six months and I love this place. Christine, the owner, is lovely and very customer focused. I'm a total Spa/beauty junkie and Christine"s facials and microneedling treatments have been a game changer. My skin never looked better and my pores are way smaller after 5 treatments. I was initially hesitant about the microneedling b/c I'm a total wuss when it comes to pain but the numbing cream works like a charm. It did not hurt and 6 months later my skin is smoother and more brighter. The facials are long and ultra decadent- seriously the best facial I've had anywhere. This salon really does not spare any step and the prices are very reasonable and competitive for the delivered service. Lastly, the salon is super duper pretty and clean! I came here with my bf and I both got AQUA Peels. There was only 1 esthetician so she had to go back and forth.. which they compensated for by having a small spanish girl massage us between sessions.. The esthetician said AQUA facial was a step up from microdermabrasion. She also mentioned that it was the "IN" thing in Korea and all the Korean celebrities. (idk how real this is) CONS: - She did not extract all my blackheads, whiteheads, pimples. I broke out more the next 2 days I had to go home and finish extracting what she missed. - It took over 2 hours for my facial to be done because she kept going back and forth from me and my bf. they need more staff. PROS: very clean, relaxing environment. - Overall skin complexion was great after 3- 4 days... kinda delayed. but it also didn't last long. I feel like I saw more long term benefits from microderm. - DOES NOT HURT. microderm can be abrasive, but aqua peel is all water/serum based and does not hurt a bit. for those people who want a deep exfoliation without the pain. I recommend aqua peel. OVERALL: would I goo again?... not sure I'm trying out a couple more facial skin care clinics around here. Compare prices & quality. read more

I'm very particular with facial services due to my sensitive and acne prone skin. I've been to a few other facial places in the area and this has been my favorite experience by far. My friend goes to christina and recommended that I try her facials. Upon arriving, Christina made sure I was relaxed and comfortable. She recommended an acne facial after evaluating my skin and she used state of the art equipment from Korea to do the extractions. I also received a nice arm and leg massage whilst getting my facial. My services lasted about 1.5 hours, with a cooling mud mask at the end. I could already see a vast improvement at the clarity of my skin. She told me not to wash my face that night so all the topical creams she put on my face can have a chance to soak in. Within the next couple days my skin was glowing and so much clearer! I visit her salon at least once a month to keep my skin looking youthful and clear. Very happy with the quality of skin products and service. read more

I really enjoyed this facial. First, there are some extra touches including a foot and hand massage. Second, Christina gives a vigorous and thorough massage. I even felt her hands reaching down to the middle of my back. Third, she doesn't "hawk" products after the session i like some other spas I've been to where they give you a shopping list of products without which they deem your life to be incomplete. Amazing - it was my first facial ever and it was the most relaxing experience ever. I feel so rejuvenated. My skins pretty dry and has clogged pores so I could the deep cleansing facial. If you have a low pain tolerance, I don't really recommend it but she really removes all the impurities. You get your legs, arms, head and neck massaged so it's more than just a facial. I came for a facial with Christina based on the positive yelp reviews. My facial was very relaxing until she got to the extractions. I receive facials regularly so I know it's not painless but I had tears flowing from my eyes during this part. When I was done and looked in the mirror I almost screamed in shock! My entire face was full of dark, red spots. I was embarrassed and couldn't leave my house for days until it began to heal and full healing took almost 2 weeks. My mother was so concerned about the spots she wanted me to start antibiotics. My face has never reacted like this before. I don't know if it was her technique or products but I would not return and advise others to beware read more

I also took my sister who's been complaining about her beautician and she switched right away after experiencing an improvement in her skin. Christina did a great job and didn't rush through my treatment. The place was very clean. The only negative I have is that I wanted more of a spa experience with dimmed lights. The lighting in the room was bright, but I guess that was so she could see what she was doing. I loved the warm table but at a point I got too hot and started to feel a little dizzy and dehydrated. I love that she has all this new up to date equipment from Korea. I went to this salon a few years back and recently this week made an appointment for a facial. I forgot how amazing this place is. The owner does the facial and she is really unlike anyone else I have ever been to. A lady is massaging your feet as your face is steaming and she is amazing as well. I took my husband here for Father's day and he loved it so i made an appt for myself. I can honestly say that this is the most relaxing, pampering and satisfying facial I have ever gotten it my life. My appt was for 9:30 and Christina and the other lady that works with her were already there. The place is not that big but perfect for a facial. The entire place is clean and sophisticated. The bathroom is really clean too. I also love that they have a jar of cold water with lemon and mint available for clients. Such a nice touch. The service was incredible. I've had many facials in the past and I never had a facial where another therapist comes to give you a massage. The lady massaged my feet and my arms while I had stuff marinating on my face. I thought it was a really nice addition to the already amazing service I was getting. The massage was not quick either. It was long enough to really enjoy it. I came here and experienced my first facial along side my girlfriend and had a great experience. There is a room with two beds so you can come in with your significant other or a friend. I must say they did a great job with the place: good design, relaxing vibe, and super clean. I've never done facial before so I cannot really compare my experience. Having said that, I am glad I chose beau esthetic, and thanks to Christina, I had such a pleasant experience. I really liked that she was very thorough and wasn't rushing at all although I was the last customer and it was getting late. I am not sure what the basic care (the one I had) covers, but it seemed like a total package which included deep cleansing, exfoliation, extraction and facial mask.
