After coming here since it opened in 2017, I have to change my rating I get regular manicure/pedicure but the nail polish selection has been HORRIBLE for several years; they are old and gooey so I bring my own base coat, nail polish and top coat. Never got a discount for that, but to me it is worth not having the polish chip a day later. A few months ago I bought my husband a gift certificate and asked if it was more for a male and they told me $34. Today my husband used the GC and they asked for $3. After I asked why they told me it was $37. We went back and forth with you said, I said and they walked away from me twice. Finally they gave me back $3 and asked me not to return. Their service has been going downhill since they changed owner and apparently losing a longtime customer over $3 is how they do business. As I sat in the pedi chair looking down at my toes I seriously wondered...why didn't I listen to all the reviews?" because I could definitely check a lot of boxes as far as the negative experiences others described. But first and foremost... my toes looked a mess. I mean a literal hot mess. I mean they were such a mess I had to stop myself from yelling "don't do it girl" to a woman walking over to the pedi chair. Also, this was the longest and I mean longest pedicure in history. And not a luxuriously long pedi. There was hardly any massage nor was there any leg mask or hot oil on my heels...it's just a gel pedicure... It was a long and tedious pedi that I could have done at home with similar results. It was not cheap. I was out of more than $50 by the time I walked out of this place... How'd I end up here? I had an event and they were the only place near me that's open on Sundays..... I could've kept my same gel pedi and saved myself time and money because it didn't look that bad... especially looking down at my toes right now. Oh and yes as noted in other reviews- the guy at the front was indeed extremely rude. Rude and abrasive even when we were just asking to look at the gel colors. They scrub with the correct tool to remove dead skin but they did it so lightly that it didn't work. Sorrow sorrow prayers for my toes... Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Seriously. PS This was a one star but bumped to two because they did actually have another nail tech finish and it ended up just a teensy bit better. So I ended up having to tip two people. The guy massaged and put lotion on one leg only -but by that time I was just so ready to leave I didn't care. I won't return. Not posting my struggle toes for all to see either! I love coming here to get a regular manicure and pedicure because it's such a relaxing atmosphere! No TV's, the music is very soothing, they sometimes even have a candle on which really makes the entire experience better in order to relax and really enjoy a good manicure and pedicure! The staff is friendly, and as long as you communicate what you want they will do it, they have many different colors to choose from, as well as gel, and acrylic or powder. I have also gotten a massage here just because of how relaxing it feels! Restrooms are clean and big. They accept cash and cards but they do have an ATM inside if you need, and I believe they do appointments but I usually just walk in, in the summer and on weekends they get very busy! I have been going to this nail place since they first opened. I always went to Maggie. Eventually, i started to try other places but found my way back to them! If you stick with someone who knows your nails you will always be satisfied with what you get! I have been going to Maggie for so long, she knows exactly how I like my nails and what is best for my nails! I used to do acrylics but my Maggie recommended I start doing SNS dip. Ever since I never went back to anything else! She was right. It was the best for my nails and they always last so long! She takes her time and I'm there for maybe 40 minutes max when doing my nails. ABSOLUTELY the WORST experience I've ever had. I came in on a Friday, 12/27/19, for a gel manicure and pedicure, which they rushed through. Less than 24 hours later on Saturday night 12/28, my nails began chipping (first photos). 3 days later on Monday 12/30, they were as shown in the last few photos. I was going about my day and look down at my hands and the edges of the nails would be peeling up completely or chipping. It felt like a new one was chipped or peeling off each time I looked down. Again, after just a day. I've never had a worst gel manicure in my life and I get them fairy regularly. I also work in an office - it's not like I was doing anything crazy with my hands for them to be peeling so quickly. I spent over $60 here for nothing. I will NEVER be coming back to this place. To top it off, when I came in to show them my nails on the Monday right after (the earliest I could come back), I was ignored for 20 minutes while trying to get one of the techs to talk to me about the issue. They were busy, but that does not excuse for such terrible customer service. And their prices are actually pretty high and not at all reasonable. I got a recommendation from a friend , and decided to pursue it. As soon as I walked in someone was there to help me , I was so shocked at the relaxing atmosphere. No one speaks , everyone is having a nice time with soothing music. I Got a French pedicure ($23) and French powder dip Manicure ( around $40ish). I personally WOULD NEVER pay this much for a manicure when in many places you can get both for $40. ( Gel ). My 4 star review is for the patient man that did my nails and made sure I was happy and satisfied the whole time I was there. I've visited this salon when it first opened up until now. I can say that it has gained popularity, but the quality of work is hit or miss. They started out well, but now they are a complete factory. They have people who are at a variety of skill levels and depending on the day you visit, and if they know you, you may or may not get the best service. Today was the last straw for me. It was quite busy. In removing my gel polish, the tech left the foil wraps on for a short time. He was in a hurry. I was asked to sit in a pedicure chair only to find out that that was where my nails were to be done. Before I could say anything, he scraped off the polish and MY NATURAL NAIL SURFACE. When I tried to communicate with him, he feigned the inability to respond because he appeared not to understand me. I believe they understand but decide to use the language barrier as an excuse. He barely let the polish cure in the UV lamp. One of my nails smudged off 30 minutes after I left What I have learned is that all of these nail places are nothing but factories who care nothing about the health of your nail. It is faster to ruin your nails and make you a slave to fake gel nails then to actually perform a professional service properly. They don't want to do basic gel polish manicures because it's an inexpensive service. They want you to get gel nails and fills because it enslaves you. Gels can't be removed without filing your natural nails into nothing. And when they are, your nails are a disaster. After getting a basic gel polish service, two of my nail broke within a day. They broke because my natural nail surface was scraped off in his rush to get through the service. I won't use this factory again. They made a lot of money and have opened a new location in Edgewater. Karma Organics in NJ and NY is a nail salon that offers natural nail service without all the chemicals. All of their polish is 7-free. If you are pregnant or care about your health, then look into the 7 free nail polishes and places that do them. I love gel polish, but improper removal will ruin your nails. There is a 7 free gel polish you can find if you google it. I came here because this salon usually does the proper removal, but they cut too many corners when they are busy. Either you get inexperienced people doing your nails or experienced ones rushing. They are good with pedicures. Their trainees for nails usually start with pedicures. There is a tall guy there that does excellent pedicures. I assume if you get a person who knows you, you will get good work. If you are a walk in or if the person you ask for doesn't know you, be ready to be passed off and experience mediocre work. I won't let this salon's rush to make money ruin my nails. Friday and Sunday it is a complete factory. On Monday, the novices experiment on you. No thank you. read more

For quite some time, I have been looking for a nail salon that I loved. I came here for the first time a little over a month ago because I wanted to get my nails done for vacation. Now, I can't imagine going anywhere else to get my nails done. The first time I was there, I had them put on an acrylic set (with gel polish), had my eyebrows waxed and got a pedicure. My nails, pedicure and eyebrows all came out perfect! Since the first time, I have already been back twice for nail fill-ins. I waited to post a review on this place because I wanted to see if anything happened to my nails over the last month. I work as a bartender/server, so I am constantly using my hands for various tasks. My nails have yet to break and my gel polish never once cracked! The last two times I went, I was showing them pictures of what I wanted my nails to look like. Both simple and complex designs and they have came out looking amazing! They do not rush and they take their time making sure the final product looks good. You can book an appointment with them, however it is not needed because they do take walk ins. With the walk ins, you usually don't have to wait too long, the most I waited was 10 mins. I also like how you get 10% off your bills total wen you use cash. No wonder it's not just a nail "salon" but also a "spa." What makes this place different from the others is that they promote rest & relaxation from the second you step in... with the calming music and pleasant atmosphere. It's not your typical hectic nail salon. I noticed that most women there who were getting pedicures were also not just getting regular "in and out" pedis, but rather "spa pedicures" as the woman later explained to me...which included steaming, wrap, more intense massages, etc. I definitely have to come back for that spa pedi! I came here yesterday for the first time to do a UV Gel Mani 2 week fill in/touch up. I actually wanted to fix my nail shape done from a different salon. Lucy did my manicure and I have to say.... I'm in love!!! I am done nail salon searching... this will be my new go to place and Lucy is my girl! She was so friendly, patient, and accommodating. I didn't feel rushed at all. She made my nails the exact coffin shape I asked for. She took her time and paid a lot of attention to detail. My nails came out perfectly how I wanted. Thank you Lucy!!!! Also, prices are reasonable and comparable to other nail salons in the area. $65 for new set of UV Gel (I actually paid $75 for my previous set which I wasn't really happy with from a diff salon where they made it too thick and the shape was...off), and $50 for UV Gel fill ins/touch ups which is the going rate if you call to ask surrounding salons in the area. What a terrible experience I just had at Noble nails . Tom one of the guys that does nails literally screamed at me and asked me if I knew how to read cause they close at 7:30. I had an appointment at 6:30 and I told him I did and he chose not to listen. The person I had the appointment with eventually spoke up. He ended up calling me stupid and flicked me the bird in front of my kid. I told him I would write a review every place I can think of and he said go ahead f*** you. Never again I liked this place but unless he is gone I will never go again Update I tried this place again.. why well I was told the little jerk was no longer there. Great right nope. This place genuinely seems very nice in the beginning, but they're rude and their work is not of high quality. The first time I came, one of my tips popped off in days but I thought I was because of work. Second time, as described in my original review, she charged me for a new set after claiming my nails were too old (just 2 weeks later) and the girl who painted my nails used polish top coat on my gel color. I'm going to start by saying this place was going to get 3 stars. It's a super basic nail salon, not a spa. You can upgrade if needed but not necessary. HOWEVER- I came in on 9/21 (Sat) around 4:50. I spent the first 10 mins being bombarded to upgrade from a $20 pedicure to a $50-$60 pedicure. I may have considered a $10-$20 upgrade but $30 is a little steep. I politely declined and ANOTHER price list to consider for add ons. So I politely declined again. During the nail clipping I ended up getting cut (thought I felt it but didn't see anything) and she didn't tell me until I was bleeding during the massage. Seems super vindictive to cut a customer right after they decline an upgrade. I'm no longer giving 3 stars since I've been here a few times and this has deff been the worst. It was super slow when I came so no reason to rush except for being salty that I paid the price you offer. My total time for the pedicure was 15 mins- no frills. This location is very close to my house and has convenient hours, but I only come here in DIRE needs. It's not a great salon and I don't bother complaining because at this point I come only when there's no other option. A small list of issues bc I can't list them all: I've had to ask for a dry towel (they put down wet towels for me to rest my feet on for pedicures...this is gross because why in the name of God is the towel wet? How did it become wet? Why is it touching my bare foot?), if you ask for a dry towel and they're out (yes they run out of dry towels) they just put a lot of paper toweling down, they charge $3 extra for certain nail polishes that last longer , on occasional, during manicures, if they cut you, and you bleed (because you're alive) you have to REQUEST that they put disinfectant on it, also if you say OW you just cut me (again bc you're alive and felt it happen) they might say oh that was there- this really happened btw . Oh also not all the "techs" know how to do a square shape with the file... Again this salon is a very, very last resort. Hours are long, location is close, prices run on the high side, there is a parking lot with decent parking, and they'll usually take you without an appointment. Techs are not the best, some have an attitude. I have had decent services there, BUT this is def not a relaxing time and I've truly never had a totally hassle free or incident free experience. read more

Not only are they kind and attentive to customers, they have a warm and helpful attitude towards each other as well which enhances the warm environment. I got my acrylic reminded and help on my natural nail. Lai was listened thoughtfully to me and was patient with me when I thought she was about to make a mistake, but she never did I was just nervous... She was so kind. Wow this place has so much staff. Place was very busy at 5pm on a Sunday but was taken right away for my regular pedicure. The guy who did it was extremely gentle but thorough, it was impressive. All of the tools were newly opened from the package and he even changed the pad on pumice before using it on me. This place also uses the bag and clean water filter in the pedicure bath. The estheticians changed at the pedi chair, her name was Yani/Yeni?? & she was absolutely wonderful! She took her time, she squared off my nails well & enjoyed an unusually long leg/foot massage! One con was that she didn't test the water & for other ppl that water would have been a complaint because it was veryyyy hot that not even my thick skinned feet could not wade in for no longer than 5 seconds. Anyways, it didn't matter to me since that leg & foot massage was heavenly. Another pro is that on top of using Essie polish, their top coats & polish dry faster than other salons & find this a BIG PLUS! My mani dried off well while the pedi was being done & was completely hand-usable after 1 minute under the hand dryer! My toesies dried amazingly fast as well! Another pro is that paying by cash gets you a 10% discount! So instead of $30, it cost $27 (without tip). Not bad at all! Will come back to the salon for sure! read more

Came here for the second time Friday August 18 around 4pm for a gel mani. The environment is really relaxing but manicure was extremely rushed. The woman who did my nails, didn't cut my cuticles at all, even though I had some on my thumb and it kept getting in the way of the manicure. Instead of cutting it, she just pushed it out of the way with her nails, and painted around it. I also didn't receive any type of shoulder massage and barely a hand massage. I don't expect much but taking out 20 seconds to squeeze my hands or shoulders makes all the difference in my experience. I've been having problems finding a nail salon near me that's satisfying, so I drove out to meet a friend in the area and tried this place out. I never get pedicures because my feet are usually so nasty from running (i.e. nails are effed up). But they've healed this summer so pedi it is! They also fixed a broken fingernail for me, free of charge. Also they have snacks and drinks! Bring CASH because it's 10 percent off and also they only accept tips in cash. I really wanted to love this place. 1 star because it seemed clean. I visited this salon on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and it was pretty quiet. That probably should have been a red flag... EVERYONE gets their nails done before a holiday. I asked for a french pedicure, and gel manicure, as I was traveling to D.R. the day after Thanksgiving and wanted my nails to last. My nail tech worked meticulously, and I thought "finally someone who will make sure my nails look great!" Well, they did... for about 2 days. My first day in D.R. (2 days after the salon visit), my manicure began to chip. Pedicure chipped on nearly all toes and gel came off of both thumbs before I even returned to the USA. Ok. I have been contemplating on writing this review but felt the need to share. Despite of all the negative reviews "and yes, some good" I decided to give this place a try. I have been here several times to get my nails done by Luis which I was pretty happy with. The problem is, making appointments and getting pedicures. TWICE, I made an appointment "with Luis" and when I arrive, Luis is not there. They try to hand you over to someone else (don't do it, since I gave that a try the 1st time and was very unhappy). #2 pedicures,,,,,,,this is not your place for a pedicure. I went in for a gel mani and pedicure. I also booked the same for my 2 daughters later that day. I had never been there before but decided to give it a try since they were open on Sunday's. I get gel manicures regularly and while I received my pedicure the tech wrapped tin foil on my nails to soak them. My first thought was they were wrapped VERY tight and I said something. She told me they need to be. She explained they offer a special of $54 if you paid cash and you received a discount of $6 and received a spa massage for my legs. I agreed and after an hour I couldn't take the discomfort in my fingers as I was losing circulation so I removed the foils. I immediately noticed my nails were all curled and looked like pointy daggers. I was horrified and told the tech very politely that my nails were curled and ruined because the foil with acetone was left on too long. Her response was that she didn't do that! The owner came over and then said I came in that way. I said I absolutely did NOT and offered to show her a picture. She declined and offered no apology so I got up and said I'm leaving. I went to the counter and said my daughters will not be coming and I will pay for just the pedicure which she then told me it was $54!! Just left this place and they are definitely not consistent with the quality. I came across this spot a few weeks ago, where I was introduced to the dip powder technique by an older lady who did my set (can't remember her name). Nails came out great. My pedicure was meh. One of my nails broke the very next week and I came in for it to be fixed. While they did not charge me, the sloppy work spoke for itself. A young girl put a tip on (for uniform length) and didn't bother to file it down well so it ended up looking bulky and obvious. Shortly after, the soso pedicure started chipping. I came in today for another mani/pedi and I am absolutely displeased with my nails--i HATE them. One of the workers had a white ombre gel set that I liked and I was told they were able to do the same with dip powder. In addition to the white ombre, I always get my left pinky and ring finger in glitter. I explained this to a few workers, as the guy doing my set spoke very little English. He didn't fully understand until I stopped him numerous times from doing all my nails in white, after he had assured me he knew what I wanted, dipping them twice in the other color. By the time he got to the glitter, it was an additional two coats. He skipped the step of filing the bulk down on the glitter ones and now these two nails look bulkier than the rest of my nails. The brush-tap technique he used to execute the ombre on my other nails was inconsistent. At the end of it all, several of my nails do not have much of an ombre effect, but abrupt, obvious blotches of the white color. This was in no way worth $68 (20 for pedicure, which was ok this time). The "manager" claimed he did a "perfect job" especially since "he took more than one hour." She and I must've been looking at two different set of nails. I was the last customer and towards the end of my mani, I felt the guy rushed it. He even smudged 2 of my nails by prematurely running his fingers over them causing him to refile and repolish. My nails have never looked worse. Not a happy customer. *This is what happens when you cheat on your GREAT nail techs because you've been lazy to drive over there. read more

Best value nail salon for the area. Everyone does a great job on manicures and pedicures. They always have a host of people working there and even when they're slammed the wait isn't long. Additionally, the atmosphere (busy or not) is quite relaxing (zen music playing, complimentary tea and snacks, and a clean environment). Additionally, the ''14 day stay'' polish selection is vast and affordable. Also, how can you beat 10% off every day if you pay cash!? They have an ATM on premise with a small $1.50 fee as well. Only negative I would note is around their foot massage option. Please note I've only opted for this once so it may be an anomalous scenario or specific to the beautician I had: I opted for the 10 minute foot massage with my pedicure and I have to say it was a bit disappointing- seemed like the beautician just put/lightly rubbed lotion on legs for ten minutes. Perhaps this would vary with a different beautician but it was far too gentle and was not reflective of a ''massage.'' Overall, I'm a regular at Nails and Noble Spa and would recommend them for all your manicure and pedicure needs. read more

My regular place for mani-pedi. It's clean and big. I usually get the 15 day Essie polish which is $3 extra. It stays on for at least 10 days before chipping. All the technicians that I have encountered till now have been good. Their spa pedicure looks interesting but I've never had the time to do it. The only possible negative thing is that their appointments are very informal. So it's all walk-in and there could be a long wait during weekends and holidays. read more
