When we went to the chairs one was filled with water and one wasn't, then told us to sit down again. It took almost 15 for someone to start on us. One of the employees that was my aunts coughed without covering and to dry the polish she blew on her toes. My nail tech coughed a bit without covering and dried my toes with a fan. Manicures were good did ok because my aunts hidden Mickey looked like a bunny rabbit. Aunts nail tech coughed with hand then use the same hand to grab my aunts hand to work on. Not that sanitary. Overall it was ok. Then a few hours later my toes chipped already.

Until coming to Elle Salon, I've never had my hair colored. And it is jet black. I went in with the criteria "I want it to be a brownish red", not knowing anything about coloring, that dark hair is harder to dye, or which colors go well with which skin tones, etc. But Stacy helped me through the whole process. She told me what to expect, showed me a whole bunch of color swatches that matched my incredibly vague description, explained how certain colors fade and might look funny against my skin tone 6 months down the road...in short, she was amazing. We settled on a subtle allover brown that I was very happy with. So happy, in fact, that when I decided I wanted highlights, I went back to her. I've never had a hair salon experience as good as this, where the stylist really listens to what I want and adds her expertise to create a look that I love. I basically trust her enough to go in and say "do whatever you think will look good". In addition to doing a great job with my hair, their prices are very reasonable. Last time I went for a color touch up, highlights, and a trim, and it was $110. Appointments can be made online at their website, where you select the date, service, and stylist you want. And they even send you a nice reminder email to let you know your appointment is coming up! I live in Elmwood Village and this place is in Depew, but it is 100% worth the drive! Although I've only gone to Stacy, the other clients here all seem really happy when they leave, and the business seems to have a pretty steady clientele. All in all, I highly recommend Elle Salon, and if you want to get your hair colored, Stacy is your girl!

Basically we all stray or for convenience reasons try a random place at times. Well the last salon ( set from there was maybe a week and a half old) was a mess, cracking lifting and chipping and a break. Not only this but I gave the nail tech there extra to clean up my dry peeling cuticles. Well Tammy really followed through with this request, meticulously trimming my dry skin and peeling ( that when anxious I'll pick at ahhh not good), and then did an amazing job on my fill. She evened them all out ( they were embrassingly crooked), and put a nice longer lasting faster drying acrylic polish. I was so pleased to have NEW hands, and now remember why I've been coming here almost ten years! Highly recommend

Earlier today around noon I called to see if they had availability for an acrylic soak off and then I was going to switch to dip. When I walked in a said once again that I wanted to get an acrylic soak off and dip. Everything was good until he was done filing off the gel polish, the nail tech took out the clippers and started cutting off most of my nail. After I protested multiple times he proceeded to grab a tip from the box and POP off the acrylic leaving layers of my nails exposed, cracked, and broken. Because I had such long nails there was skin underneath my nail which the tech ended up cutting on a few fingers as well leaving my nails throbbing.
