This is an add on to my previous review from Monday. I was annoyed at how amateurish my nails looked but now I am mad. The pedi ( regular ) is starting to chip & the mani ( gel) is lifting. That's after 2 days. I'm not sure how this could've gone so wrong. If I could give no stars I would. The first picture is to show the growth that took me more than 5 months to get to with the help of acrylic from another salon. Earlier today around noon I called to see if they had availability for an acrylic soak off and then I was going to switch to dip. When I walked in a said once again that I wanted to get an acrylic soak off and dip. Everything was good until he was done filing off the gel polish, the nail tech took out the clippers and started cutting off most of my nail. After I protested multiple times he proceeded to grab a tip from the box and POP off the acrylic leaving layers of my nails exposed, cracked, and broken. Because I had such long nails there was skin underneath my nail which the tech ended up cutting on a few fingers as well leaving my nails throbbing. I prefer this nail salon over others that are the same diatance from me for a few reasons 1. It looks and smells a lot nicer than the average nail salon, which is usually run down looking. Its well lit and very clean inside. 2. Service is great. Ive never been turned down for a walk in appointment or had to wait excessively long. And im always offered a glass of wine or bottle of water. 3. The massage chairs are a cut above the rest. I would honestly pay just to sit in one for 30 minutes without getting my nails done! Ive never been to another salon with massage chairs this nice. 4. They always get the shape of acrylics right when i get them done. I had nearly given up on ever getting acrylics done again because other salons kept giving me terrible looking acrylics but ive always been happy with what i get here. That being said, i took 1 star away because prices here are higher than average. I personally feel that if im getting a pedicure or acrylics, the upcharge to come here is certainly worth it. If all you want is a simple or gel mani, the experience and result here is fine but not worth the upcharge. read more

This is my go to nail studio now! I only go to Annie and get my nails done. I've gotten pedicures there before and they have not been bad. You got a love the massage chairs though! I would recommend, even though they may seem a little pricey, you can order wine or have some water. Just relax and enjoy a little pampering. We are all worth it! read more

This isn't my regular nail salon, but I went here because it was closer to my house. The interior is great. Trendy, clean, and welcoming. They offer wine during the service. The only downfall I have is the sides of my nails are all cut. They are sore and red. 4 of my nails have cuts on the sides of them. In the future I will make the further drive to my regular nail place. I never have left there with cuts on the sides of my nails. read more

I feel bad writing this review, as my nail tech was very sweet as were the other employees I encountered during my first visit to this salon. The space is bright, open and very clean. However I am deeply disappointed in the service I received. I already had nail dip on from a different salon, so per the tech's recommendation I did a "dip fill." She complimented my current mani before we began, only to later tell me that she thought it looked "no good" and "too thick." This is worth mentioning as the 3-4 layers of gel polish she gave me over the existing dip are incredibly thick. When I asked if it could be thinner, she replied that it is "thinner than what I came in with" (not true, and more importantly, not a solution). The most alarming aspect of my experience is the fact that the nail tech was bleeding throughout the service. She mentioned that she cut her own nails too short; concerning on its own, but made much worse by the fact that she was actively bleeding during my service. She got blood on the station as well as on my fingers. As I am currently pregnant, this was especially problematic to me. I pointed it out and she used a dry paper towel to wipe her blood off of my hand, but it was insufficient. Thankfully I was able to wash my hands shortly thereafter. To stem her bleeding nail, the tech took a bottle of clear gel topcoat and applied it over her open wound. She then put that hand under black light to "seal" it. I believe this to be the same bottle of topcoat used on my nails later. This is incredibly unsanitary, not to mention gross. Lastly, when I pointed out that there was clear polish stuck to my fingers (as well as some green from the gel color), she applied lotion to my hands. I told her that was not dry skin but nail polish on my fingers, and she assured me that the lotion would remove it. What???? I believe this is likely not the quality of this tech's usual work, as another patron came in and requested her by name. My mom was with me and she received a very nice mani. However, we will not be returning for a second treatment. read more

I love this place and have been going for years! Anderson and his staff are always welcoming and nice! They have sooo many colors of gel to pick from that's usual my hardest decision. I went here for nails before my wedding and I wanted ombré dip nails and he said he needed to cut the nails and I said a trim and then before I know it all my nails were cut down. He then wanted to put on artificial nails as I guess that is part of dip nails which I never knew, had I know I would have never got it. It took about 90 min to complete it and he said it was because my nails were so short but he cut them all short. Then when he was trimming the dried dip off my skin and cut my skin and it started to bleed. Safe to say I won't be back. On top of it my one bridesmaid they were pressuring her to do gel as she only wanted polish and when doing one nail just put a glop of polish on the nail and said it was done and it was ruined. 155 dollars. I paid 155 dollars total just for my nails to break only 4 hours after having them put on. I took my mom here for a late Mother's Day treat for a pedicure I paid extra for her to have all these good things, but the biggest one was picking her scent for the water, she didn't get to do that but the lady who paid less for her pedicure got to pick her own. I wish I could say this place was good but in reality I wouldn't recommend it. It makes me so upset I paid a great amount of money only to not get anything back and be charged 10 dollars in the end to have the nails that they put on taken off. I came in and selected the spa pedicure which was supposed to include a 5 minute massage, the only difference from the basic pedicure. I came with another person both getting the same pedicure, their massage started earlier than mine as they use an alarm to set 5 minutes. About a minute into my massage the other persons 5 minute timer went off and they ended my service without giving the whole 5 minute massage per person. I brought this to their attention and they did not offer to complete the massage. They argued saying they did give the massage but they "use different techniques" and ended up charging the full price. Terrible customer service and we will not be back. I am not one to usually write a review unless I am satisfied with service but this was the absolute worst experience I've ever had at any place offering a service ever. I had an appointment at 10am and was not taken until 10:45 which made me late for another appointment. The man (the owner?) who did my nails was rude and very rough with my nails. He sliced my finger open with the nail file from filing so hard and left me with an extremely deep cut, then continued to cut all of my cuticles with the electric file because he "wasn't paying attention." I had asked for a design that was so poorly done after multiple attempts that I asked for it to be removed. My nails were all very crooked, I had no color on, and my fingers were all bloody and I was charged $60 dollars plus tip. The nail tech kept telling me that my fingers were crooked and that's why my nails looked crooked and there was "nothing he could do about my crooked fingers." I ended up going against my morals and going back later in the day to see if they could fix them because I paid so much money and was so unsatisfied and the younger man graciously fixed my nails to a workable standard. He was very kind and when he heard what had happened he said "I know who did these, he (the owner) is not very good at this." This comment made me more mad because I know I am not the only person who has left this place with crooked bloody nails and that is NOT how to run a business. If you are looking for a lack luster experience and polish so thick that it doesn't dry properly even hours after application--look no further! The leg massage consisted of extremely light pressure, half hearted leg slaps and the use of hot stones. I went in for a pedicure hoping for a cute polish color and to smooth my rough heels. My heels are still rough and the color was applied so terribly on my big toes that they look horrendous. I could have done a better job on them. Huge waste of money and I will never return. A little update: Was harassed by the daughter of this salon through Yelp. They made multiple accounts to spam me the same harassing message that involve attacks made personally about me, my family and my career just because I wrote a bad review and took actions upon factual events that occurred. Please keep personal grudges/affairs out of my review that is based on real occurrences. I stated everything that could be seen through the cameras because the nail salon has security cameras that somehow 'did not work' on the day of the incident when cops tried to take a look at it. ALSO, If I want to I could always screen shot the threatening messages that was SPAMMED to me more than 10 times, so I could email it to Yelp to report the business itself AND turn it in as evidence for harassment case. Do not send me personal messages using different accounts and just use the business account to comment underneath my review. Using your personal account to try to delete my review is unprofessional and it just shows how true my review is if this all gets deleted. read more

I am normally not picky about my nails at all and I am not one to complain but after my experience here I feel like I need to say something. I went in to get dip on my nails. The first thing that annoyed me was when they were taking my old tips off, they cut not only the tips but my natural nail as well making them extremely short. Then I asked for almond shape and was given square. I asked her to round them out a little bit more but instead of rounding them out, she just made the straight square, an angled square. She also used about four layers of dip making them extremely thick. And to top it all off, she was on the phone/FaceTime almost the entire time she was doing my nails. I understand people need to take phone calls...but at least step away and come back so you can give your clients the full attention they deserve. It was my first time at this salon. I thought it was weird how thick the dip manicure was. I also thought it was weird that they didn't even have me wash my hands before dipping. I went to my regular salon to get it removed and they were horrified. She said that they used artificial nail powder instead of dip. It took 45 minutes of soaking to get it off. And I had nail fungus! My nails are completely damaged. I've never left a review before but I don't want this to happen to anyone else!! There are only 2 options for pedicures one $40 and the other $45. It's been a while since I had my feet done so I went with the better one. My feet were barley scrubbed and all of the dead skin is still on my feet and when it came to painting my nails it was uneven and bumpy. I presented the coupon I found online and I was told I can only use a paper coupon and they don't come out until August. I showed him the expiration date is August and he just repeated the new one doesn't come out until August. Paying this much for a pedicure at a newer salon I would have expected higher quality. My $35 gel "manicure" lasted 4 days. FOUR. here is a pic of my nails on day 4. The middle nail with the hot pink is the nail I painted myself because the polish peeled right off. Nails look horrible. If I wasn't out of town I would have gone back and had them redo it. I cannot believe I paid so much money for my cuticles not to be touched, the polish to peel off, and all my nails to be uneven and awful looking. I have never had such a horrible experience getting my nails done. I got a full set acrylic manicure yesterday with gel polish. The acrylic didn't cover parts of some nails. The polish and nails were uneven. Here's where it gets worse. Everything was very rushed. Not to mention, numerous fingers were nicked(making them bleed) and one had a deep gouge from getting filed into multiple times! Hurt getting them done and today my fingers are in extreme pain! I had to ask multiple times to fix the shape of my nails which ended up in my nails being super short even though I went in with long natural nails. My gel manicure was so think at the tips it looks awful. I was nicked by his tool and bleeding which he told me was just dry skin, not blood. My nails are all different lengths and shapes and I have to have my friend redo them as these are for my wedding. Wont be returning. read more

I was looking for the first place I could find to get my nails done, it was cold as hell, and I was walking with my impatient complaining boyfriend. So we didn't take long to decide and I just sat down and got my full set. Must say prices have definitely gone up since I've had nails last. This wasn't my concern however, the 100% lack of humor , personality or really any conversation of the staff was extremely uncomfortable. The more and more I tried to make conversation, or cut what felt like tension the more and more I couldn't wait to get the hell outta there. I didn't give a sh** if there's a bit of a language barrier or your doing work, your in GODDAM customer service that's your JOB! I'm confused by the negative reviews...I've always had a pleasant experience here. Everyone is always friendly, greets me and would all say goodbye if they were by the door. The only problem I had was trying to figure out what color to get because they literally have THE BEST selection! Compared to other salons I think the prices are the same, At least where I go.
