I liked this place. Its beautiful inside, plenty to look at while you're getting your nails done. It is a nail shop, so you have to remember, that when you make an appointment (which we did), or not, you're going to be waiting, which we did. My nail tech did a good job. I would definitely go back. I don't believe my friend will. They told her they could squeeze her in for a fill too, but told her to come back next week. She's like, no thank you. The first time I came here the staff was very welcoming and kind. It was a total different experience the second time I came in. Not to mention their prices are expensive for little things like getting the nail polish changed on your toes. If I would have know it was gonna cost me a fortune to get bad acrylics then I wouldn't have went here. I got my acrylics over 3 weeks ago and their nail glue is so strong they weren't lose. I had to pry the fake nails off because even acetone wouldn't dissolve the stuff they used. The salons products they use ruins your nails. I got a full acrylic set 3 months ago and have gotten fills regularly. Today I decided to soak off my acrylics. I was disappointed to find that the nails turned sticky and gummy and were impossible to get off! They soaked up the acetone my fingers were sitting in. All tell tale signs that Nailbar uses illegal MMA (Methyl Methacrylate). I should've been tipped off by the sketchy containers the acrylic liquid was stored in. My money was wasted on an application of dental veneers and my nails are now destroyed. Save your money and go somewhere else that isn't using illegal acrylic liquid! read more

Came here with a bridal party and they were definitely more interested in getting us out quickly than actually giving a quality service. Few things: - my pedicure lasted about 10 minutes. Didn't cut my toenails, no scrub, I asked for a nail buff, nothing. - my friend also got a pedicure and the guy cut two of her toes pretty badly. They did nothing to rectify and she left with bloody feet (and made her pay full price!) - we "upgraded" to the ocean pedicure. No clue exactly what the upgraded service entailed. I came in for a powder dip manicure and a regular pedicure. Although it was Saturday morning, they were able to accommodate me right away. Lina Tran was my nail tech and she was really good. Kind, focused, not too chatty. Perfect! The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars was that the place itself seemed to need updating. There were some walls that needed repainting, some tile areas that needed retiling. Overall, it was very clean and efficient. And the price was on par with my home town mani/pedi's. Yay! read more

By far the WORST pedicure I ever received!!! I sat in the chair for over a hour, no relaxing at all as she picked at my feet. Only to realize when she went to polish my heels were not even ANY better! Then she went to polish and did an entire foot with chunky nail polish! I said something because she would have kept going. At that point I couldn't let her continue. It was AWFUL! And on top of it I was still charged $30! Then to get home and look at my heels that had dried skin that wasn't addressed! I've been here three times. First time was when it opened and I thought the place was awesome inside and had no complaints about the service. The second time was about a year later and I felt like I was bothering them by coming in for a pedicure. The place was dead and there was about four employees sitting in the pedicure Chairs playing on their phones. The guy giving me the pedicure didn't seem to know what he was doing and was being instructed by the other employees in the pedicure chairs nearby. He didn't seem interested in learning, more so annoyed that he was the one with a client. Not a very relaxing experience. Third and last time I went (last night) . Husband got me a certificate for my birthday, not knowing I was disappointed in my last service. So I went last night hoping for a relaxing pedicure. And once again seems like I was bothering them. There was maybe three other people in there getting their nails done. They sat me down in the pedicure chair and the water was lukewarm. I asked them to add hot water to it but it was already too late since the whole thing was filled. There is no attempt at conversation or even a warm smile as the gentleman began. My favorite part of a pedicure is the massage aspect of it. And once again, I was disappointed as he rushed through it.It shouldn't be a race. I think what annoyed me the most was that I like to get regular nail polish on my toes and a matching gel color on my fingers so that it lasts a bit longer. I always explain this when I am choosing a color. So when the pedicure was done and he began painting my nails I kept looking at the nail color thinking that it was not the same. But then I was thinking maybe it's just the lighting, what am I going to do, pick a fight over a nail color now? The thing is, you have one job to do, that is painting nails. So it is a big deal if someone wants matching fingers and toes to give them that. So when I got home and looked in the light I confirmed that the color on my toes is definitely not the same as what is on my fingers. Kind of a deal-breaker to me. Something that I thought was strange, was that when he had me soaking my hands during the manicure, he put little fake floating flowers in the bowl. I can't imagine that they threw them out after each client. Well I hope that they do. Not only did I think it was gross if they reuse them, I just thought it was really cheesy. Anyway, I hope that they read their reviews, because all of these things are fixable. It would be a shame for them to continue losing business over something like attitude. The entire time I was in getting a pedicure, the owners wife lambasted the young lady who was working with me. Even though I do not speak the language she was using, I could understand that it was mean spirited and nasty. The young lady sat quietly and took it with tears rolling down her face. All of this in front of a paying customer. After about 30 minutes of this, my heart was breaking for this young lady, my stomach was sick, and I could no longer hold my thoughts in. I told the owner and his wife they should be ashamed of how they are treating their staff, and family none the less. The owners wife continued on her rampage and finally screamed "shut up and get out" to me. Unbelievably unprofessional. As I walked out, I could hear screaming continuing from the parking lot. This place is adorable inside and the first time I went there I had a great experience. I was really excited to find someplace new to go to. The second time I went the technician was sooooo extremely rude from the beginning. She acted as if I was inconveniencing her by being there. After I had a polish change on my toes and my manicure was complete she gave me the total bll amount. I was surprised by it so I asked how much the polish change was and she said $15. I recently moved to the area and desperately needed a new nail salon. I decided to try Sensational Nail Bar for my dip-powder manicure, and I was so impressed. The place is beautiful, clean, smells nice and the customer service was wonderful. My nail tech offered me a drink, did a beautiful job on my nails and was QUICK. There is nothing worse than spending hours in a nail salon on a Sunday afternoon, so I appreciated his ability to make my nails look great while being time efficient. When I was checking out, the lady made sure I took a picture of my nail color and told me that if it were to chip or break, to come back in and they would fix it for no extra cost. I asked for my nails to be cut down (I can't have long nails because I am a dental hygienist) twice and it was never done; just filed. The technician applied two coats of the "melting violet" shade which looked great! She applied the top coat to my right hand but never my left ?? I should've mentioned it but I didn't. My friend's gel manicure was done about 10 minutes before me, her technician was rushing completely and missed so many areas around her cuticles. Her polish is already chipping off. As for me, two days later, the polish from my left index finger flaked right off. Now a week later, my nails are growing and some of the edges of the gel are peeling off because they weren't accurately placed. Like I said early, my manicure is sub-par for $35. read more

I had an awful experience here last night. Rushed in, I was told to "cool down" after she nicked my cuticle to which my face was just confused because I didn't say anything I just flinched a little cause it hurt. It was WAY over priced for just a fill and gel polish. Then my friend wanted just her toes painted, brought her own color polish and they still charged her $15 and told her another $5 for a design. She based for a pink and white flower. She showed them 4 examples of flowers she liked and they said no they do their own. She said okay. He ended up doing pink white and black outline (on a dark purple nail) and then filled in the flower with silver glitter petals. It honestly did not look good. He asked her if she liked and she shook her head politely and said sorry no and he started yelling at her ! He said she didn't know what she wanted. She tried to politely say I did I showed you four pictures and said only white and pink. He yelled, we can't do for you . So she got up and just went to the register and he very aggressively said he wasn't going to charge her for the design but he said it like he was doing her a favor. I picked this places because they served drinks and I wanted to have a glass while I got my nails done. I wasn't offered anything. I was rushed to sit where they rambles off a price and made me say okay before they started. Didn't have the first color choice I wanted, then at the end she said they probably did have it but it was too hard to hard to find? My nails were unevenly filed and I tried to ask politely 3 times and she just kept saying she would do it later. Then like shoved my hand back at me and said see better and grabbed it back. I walked in, they welcomed me very politely and took me for a pedicure immediately. This place is immaculately clean, and the nail technician was pleasant and not overky chatty (I prefer a pedicure that is quiet and relaxing). I brought my bridesmaids here 2 days before my wedding. BIG mistake. This review is going to seem harsh but it is the truth and I'd hate for someone else have the same experience as I did and PAY for it. My pedicure was "ehh". The water was cold and I asked her to heat the water. The girl kept getting up in the middle of my pedicure and would come back missing steps. They DO NOT sanitize their metal implements. She only massaged one leg, yes ONE! the other leg didn't even get lotion! I believe this is the result in her getting up and forgetting where she left off. The polish was ok... Oh god, and the worst part was my full acrylic set with "Dr. Nail/Lee". First of all, he has no clue what he's doing. My bridesmaid had him before me and she had a gel mani with French tip. He kept wiping of the white gel because he was making it too thick. He finally gave up on all hope of her nails looking good. He face timed someone the entire time he was doing my nails, with me on the camera. EXTREMELY uncomfortable and unnecessary. My nails were horrible. Didn't give me a manicure or anything, just glued the tips on and loaded the acrylic on top. They were super thick, all over my cuticles and the acrylic puddled under the nail tip. Oh my god, the paint was so thick that it was sliding off the nails. I had like 5 coats of polish on the nail. He kept telling me that what I wanted wasn't a sexy nail. Its my fault for letting it continue and left without saying anything. But after 5 minutes I knew I was going home to fix my nails. Please do not waste your time or money. I was hoping for a really great experience based on how busy this newer salon was and how nice it is inside. I stopped by on a Wednesday night around 6:15 pm. Very busy, I had to wait exactly 35 mins before someone sat down to start my gel manicure. The color selection is wonderful. So many nice colors. The decor is top notch , as well. My service with my guy felt rushed. I was given a mini water bottle and a plate with 4 crackers and 3 grapes on it. I noticed a few other ladies had wine. I was never offered it. I also noticed most people had a hot rice bag around their neck, I was never offered this either. I am rating this salon 3 stars because my gel mani is pretty sloppy, and around the cuticles it's a mess. I hope it lasts. Also, the customer service between technicians was not consistent. If you're offering wine to someone, you should offer it to everyone! There was also a lot of talking between coworkers that I could not understand. I find this rude. I'm glad I had a coupon. Horrible!!! I went to The Nail Bar, as a walk in, for a pedi. There was only one other customer getting a service and several workers sitting around and on their cell phones. My point is that they were not busy. I was taken to a chair immediately and instructed to put my feet into a tub that was still filling up. The water was too hot! They turned on the cold water and walked away. Well, now the water was too cold. My entire pedi lasted just over 10 minutes. The tech was hurried, rough and didn't pay attention to what she was doing. She trimmed some of my nails, swiped the file over the edges once or twice, clipped a few cuticles, while buffing my nails was distracted and buffed some of my knuckles, rubbed a little scrub on my legs and spent approximately 30 sec exfoliating my feet. She was quick to polish my nails and get me to a drying station. While drying she took my credit card and asked if I just wanted to charge the $25 or if I wanted the tip added in. That's rude.... nope, just the $25. When she returned with my card I informed her that I was not happy with my experience and the reasons why. She said she was sorry, stated she didn't mean it and gave me a bottle of water. When I got outside I could see what an terrible job she did. The edges of my nails were rough, polish on my skin and on the cuticles that were not trimmed. After a minute of contemplation I went back in. Again, I expressed my displeasure and showed her why I was returning. Now she put on her glasses to see my feet!!! She removed my polish, clipped cuticles a little more, filed a little and and repolished. I am attaching a few pics I took after the second polishing. You can see the rough edges of my nails and some polish on my skin and cuticles. What you can not see is how my nails are not shaped and how unevenly the top coat was applied. The only time I was not "thrilled" with my nails was the first time I went there. I gave them the benefit of the doubt because the kid (Yes this guy looked like he was maybe 16) that did my nails seemed pretty new to this. When i went back the second and third, they have always been on point. I get the dip gel so it last a good 3 weeks and never have they chipped! Very disappointed with the customer service in this salon. I've been getting my nails done for decades. I went to the same nail tech for 10 plus years. I recently moved so I decided to find a nail salon closer to my home, for convenience sakes. I am picky with my nails. All nail tech's do not do the same work. It took me trying a few salons before I decided to try this one. The first few fills were okay, but not great. I tried a few different people before meeting Jen. She is great and shapes and does my nails perfectly. This salon is more attractive than the average nail salon. It's a new building and decorated beautifully. However, it is also quite a bit more expensive than the average salon. $45 for a dip fill. (I used to pay $35 for the same service) I guess we are paying for the aesthetics . Despite the increase in cost , it was very close to home and Jen was great so I decided to stay put. I've been going to her every few weeks for nails and pedicures since the beginning of the year. I am now told that they owner has new rules. They are no longer allowing the CUSTOMER'S to choose who does their nails. They want you to walk in and take turns with whomever is available. That absolutely will not work for me. I will not have someone dictate to me, how I spend my money. They are my nails and I should be able to choose who does them. I had a face to face with the owner just to make sure I was understanding the new rules. He confirmed these are the new rules and that's how it's going to be. I cannot request who does my nails, unless it "happens to be her turn." So I said it was nice meeting you all and I will not be back. For a much over priced nail salon, you should have impeccable costumer service and do what it takes to make US happy. The use of disposable liners in the foot baths, disposable pedicure kits and disposable cups for products make me feel assured that I am in a sterile environment. The staff go out of their way to please you. I have been getting pedicures there for the past three months and I'm very pleased. My technician's name is Hannah, she is wonderful!! Eric is also great! Faye does my manicures and has is very sweet. My experience with all the techs from this salon has been positive. Upon arrival you are greeted and asked what services you would like to have done. You are then escorted to a foot soak or a manicure station. Next you will receive a bottled water and cheese and crackers as a kind gesture. The tech. will have you choose a nail color.
