I come here every two weeks to have the powder dips done on my natural nails. Macii is excellent and I love the way she shapes my nails. I have seen other nail techs in the place and they aren't nearly as good as her. I had one pedicure that was pleasant enough, but sort of rushed. Overall, it's a good spot to come and have your nails done, there is almost never any waiting. read more

I loved this place! When I walked in however...and I had to pay more for the shape of my nail (coffin) and extra for glitter tips on my nails. I originally asked for ombre nails and they said they charged $30 more then their regular full set which is $30. I still loved how they turned out and my nail technician was so sweet and caring. My daughter was getting a manicure while I was getting a pedicure. She is 13 years old. The nail tech talked her in to getting acrylic nails. The next thing I knew my 13-year-old had long acrylic nails on and I was paying a hefty price. This is absolutely ridiculous that an adult would talk a child into this and think it's okay. We waited with our feet in water well over 30 mins for a pedicure. This place re-uses nail files and I didn't see any cleaning of them other than dunking them in the water my feet were just soaking in. After I turned down any extras with my pedicure, my pedicurist wouldn't even say a word to me. I will never go back! read more

After having been in for several pedicures, this last visit was by far the worst experience I've ever had at any nail salon. After receiving a sub-par $35 pedicure today my tech set a timer and had me wait for my nail polish to dry. After 10 minutes, the timer went off but my nails were still wet. The tech came over and told my friend and I that we could leave with their thin foam flip flops on. When we hesitated she said "Go now!" It was in the 40s and raining! We were kicked out and had to walk through a wet parking lot. I get home and 4 of my nails are smudged, edges are super sharp and there's also clear polish all over my toes. I was already on the fence about this place since they are ridiculously pushy when it comes to more expensive options and additional services bulll. My friend and I will never go back. read more

I've been going here for a little over a year and it took me awhile to find the right place to go after the place I went to for 10 years closed. I think they're kind of on the high-priced side but it's also the neighborhood. I'm used to doing in Buffalo and where is way cheaper and it's also not as good a quality as this place is. I get a fill, pedicure, and my eyebrows with gel polish and a design for roughly $100. They do an amazing job recently I had to get a new set put on and I went to a different place and they werent lifting they were done horribly with the design so I learned my lesson and went back to superior and my nails are beautiful. I love the girls there they're all really friendly and remember things that we've talked about. There was asking how my husband and my kids are. On top of that I never wait when I go in there. The girl that I see on a regular basis is a perfectionist , which is a good and a bad thing it means I'm there much longer find it also means my nails come out looking perfect. I was just at this nail salon and have to say i was totally floored. I had a pedi with Gel and a fill with same gel color. It took her under an hour for both so obviously paying the extra 5$ for the OPI pedi was not worth it and she didnt take much time at all making my toes or nails look very good. at the end when i asked how much she turned and said 100$ i was in shock i said for just me? and she explained the pedi was 40$ plus additional 15$ for gel and the nails were 45$. I will never go there again, for what i paid and the rushed service i received just in shock especially when there is a nail place every mile. Save yourself the bad job and expensive service. I have been coming to Superior Nails for awhile now. It is recently under new ownership but many of the workers have stayed the same. I have never left here disappointed and the owner and his wife are extremely friendly. They are always willing to accommodate my requests, and the designs are exact to the photo I show them. Do not go here. They're extremely incompetent and they don't really speak/understand English. I told them I wanted gel polish, and they understood acrylic and begin drilling into my natural, pretty nails, only to ruin them. When I quickly explained that's not what I wanted, they began to act stupid, and said they could fix their mistake. I figured I'd get somewhat of a discount. I was wrong. I'm giving this place two stars because the staff was friendly and quick. What made me upset is how they constantly ask you during your pedicure if you want to add extra services and keep pestering you through your time there. I just wanted to relax but it's hard when they're begging for you to spend more money. I rarely get my nails done so when she asked if I wanted a flower on my big toe of course I said yes. I didn't know that it would be an extra five dollars because they won't tell you that. They seem to really hustle people in here and I don't think that's cool if you're gonna beg for money at least be honest about it. read more

They make you feel like you're a valued customer and I kept repeating I want the cheapest manicure and pedicure you offer. She told me it was $70! and did I want to give her a tip...she took 45 minutes on me and it was 70! and she asked for a tip! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! NEVER GO HERE! Went here a couple of times. Not happy at all! My first time was a full gel acrylic set within 3 days it already looked and felt like I needed a fill! They should be lasting at least 1 1/2-2 weeks! When going in for a fill, they charged me $45! a fill should be no more than $25 max (tip included). Never going there again. read more

It seemed like a nice place and is clean. However, the price for the service I received was absolutely not right. I've been moving and my nails were dirty and cuticles needed to be clipped. All I wanted was a basic manicure...I didn't even want polish, just to be cleaned up. Immediately, Katie told me it would be the same price even though I didn't want polish, which I understood. She barely shaped my nails...they pretty much look the same as when I came in. She pushed me the entire to get a gel manicure, eyebrow wax, or other services. It took a total of about 6 minutes and this is after I had to ask her to clean under my nails as well. After I washed my hands she called me over to dip my hands in wax. Very nice...but I never asked for it so I just assumed it was part of the service. When I went to cash out I was told it was $25! For a basic manicure?? She told me I had a spa manicure...which I never asked for. There is no way the service I had should have amounted to 25 dollars. I've paid about 12 dollars for much better manicures in the past. I used to get regular pedicures and my eyebrows done here but a few bad experiences have made me not want to go back. For the pedicures, the last time I went over the summer it was extremely rushed. I didn't understand why, because there was nobody waiting, but my entire pedicure lasted 30 minutes and my friend's less than 20 minutes. They tried to get us to upgrade and when we both refused, I think the girl was ticked off and did her quickest job possible. She barely scrubbed my feet, worried about cuticles, leg massage, nothing. My friend was appalled at the service. The polish was sloppy and no thank you was said to us as customers after she finished. She was going back and forth between us, I'm not sure why, because there were another few workers available. Eyebrows have even gone downhill at this place. They used to be $7 which was cheap in my opinion. I've given the girl a $10 before and asked for a dollar back and have had them roll their eyes at me for asking for change. The last few times I've gotten my brows done here they take about a minute and are so rushed. For what? No other customers in the place. I've stopped going here for eyebrows. I don't think this place will last if they keep up their hurriedly work ethic. read more
