I placed a "to-go" order foe chicken piccata online. The chicken piccata came with steamed veggies and mashed potatoes. The meal cost $18.95, with add ons for $1 each. Note: the price for the plate is only $16.50 in the restaurant. I got to the restaurant before my food was ready so I wandered around the empty restaurant while waiting. The place had a strange smell, kinda stale not appetizing. The customer service was cool. I was greated relatively warmly. In their defense, i think i was the first customer of the Day. The food...the piccata was good, nice lemony boost, with a tasty sauce. Steamed veggies were nice, unseasoned, buy cooked well with a great presentation. I splashed a little rice wine vinegar and pink salt on them and they were fantastic. Mashed potatoes we ok. I was hoping for pasta (theres no meal description on the menu). The food is always good at Viztango. I got the chicken Alfredo, my wife got the Shrimp Scampi and we got a large pizza for our children. Overall good food. My only complaint is the grilled chicken in my Chicken Alfredo. It's small bits and the quantity was scarce. If I can suggest, they should have big slices to emphasize a decent quantity. My wife enjoyed her shrimp scampi. In regards to the pizza, Viztango does not cheap out on ingredients. And it really does taste great. We tried to order a pizza the following weekend and was told there was a 1 hour waiting time for the pizza. People know it's worth it. read more

I have been here plenty of times before and ordered a plethora of things but my last experience was the absolute worse. I got two fettuccine Alfredo's for the kids to keep it simple. First time I got chicken Alfredo and pepperoni pizza I felt like the pepperoni was little salty but I didn't blame them because I knew probably they don't make the pepperoni anyway the food was good I ordered again the same pasta whit the margarita pizza and wow, that pizza was amazing, next time I ordered the Tortellini pesto and of course the margarita pizza and again this place surprise me again and now I decided to try something different so I got the same margarita pizza and the chicken Marsala and omg! Just dropped by this place today since we are waiting for our turn for our nails in Glamorous nail spa (which is right beside this place). Not really hungry but decided to give this place a try, so I ordered a small Caesar salad which came with bread. I appreciate the customer service here. I've been to this place many times and feel that it can be mostly hit or miss. Their garlic bread that they give with nearly every order tends to be hard/stale--they RARELY get that right. The bread can be as hard as cinder blocks at times and impossible to chew, so this place REALLY needs to work on that because it's a repeat issue reflected in many reviews of them here. Viztango--PLEASE FIX YOUR BREAD!!! Anyways, their pasta is generally decent, but again, hit or miss. I feel it depends on what time of day you order or what pasta specifically you've ordered. I like their fish-based pastas, and those are great when you eat them fresh. If you take advantage of their points system, you can eventually work your way up to a free entree, but beware of ordering online, as they have multiple platforms to order directly from their restaurant (which is confusing in itself), yet not all of them collect your points, and the business owners won't add them retroactively for whatever reason. The dine-in atmosphere is more informal and relaxed, and they tend to have their TVs on to contribute somewhat to ambiance. The staff is nice, and I don't recall ever having an adverse experiences regarding how I was treated. They are a small family business with a lot of potential, but there are definitely areas of needed improvement. Oh, and if I haven't already said it... VIZTANGO, PLEASE FIX YOUR BREAD!!! read more

We ordered about four pizzas from them while I was visiting my nephews. The pizzas were delivered on time and still hot. We are from Chicago so our standards are kind of high. The pizza was very good overall. We order two combo pizzas and two cheese. The crust was nice and thin. The cheese pizza was nice, but the combo was better. I totally became addicted to this place as I am basically here every other day trying out all their pasta related dishes. So far, so great, and so amazing. Family owned and operated and each I come in here they are all welcoming. You do get a lot of bang for your buck here to which is of course and added bonus. I basically had almost all the pasta related items. I think now it's time for a review especially if I visited more than three times. There's some good reliable go to items here. I haven't tried the pizza yet but I'm giving the reviews based on the pasta dishes alone and the salads to are fill me up fantastic. Probably the worst Italian food I've had in my life, which sucks because Italian cuisine is my favorite. Ordered the chicken marsala and thought the exorbitant price and wait time would be justified by the food, but I was ultimately disappointed. The chicken was rubbery, the marsala sauce was way too thin and lacked flavor, and the garlic bread was dry as a bone.
