One of my favorite places in LA. Good wine, charcuterie, and pizza! Love the focaccia here! Service…read moreis always great. I'm allergic to dairy and they were able to accommodate my allergies. I like being in the outdoors seating area for ambiance, but inside is great for more intimate atmosphere. It's a great place for a date or to catch up with friends. I've even come here for happy hour by myself because I was craving their pizzas lol

We stopped in during our Arts District stroll specifically for the wine flight, and it delivered a…read morewell-curated, Italy-leaning experience. The list clearly favors organic and biodynamic producers, which I always appreciate--minimal intervention, letting the terroir and varietal speak without unnecessary manipulation. The flight format was flexible, offering around five selections with the option to choose three pours. I went with a sparkling red, an orange wine, and a white--each bringing its own personality to the table. The sparkling red was lively and slightly unconventional, the orange wine had that textured, skin-contact complexity, and the white rounded things out with a clean, expressive finish. Our server elevated the experience by guiding the tasting order, which made a noticeable difference in how each wine showed. It's always a good sign when the staff understands how to pace a flight rather than just drop it off and walk away. We didn't explore the food menu this time, so I can't speak to the full program, but purely from a wine perspective, it lands at a solid 4 stars for me. The space itself is ideal for a relaxed midday tasting--plenty of seating, with a great outdoor setup. The tall greenery creates a sense of privacy without feeling closed off, making it just as suitable for a casual date as it is for catching up with friends. Honestly, if you've got a flexible workday and don't need to be on camera, this is a pretty perfect spot to post up with a glass and ease into the afternoon.

I was lucky to try Prime Pizza in Little Tokyo because someone wanted takeout from there. My…read moreimpression is the crust strikes a crispy balance on the edges but soft and chewy inside. Every slice I tried was loaded with melted cheese that actually tasted like something but it felt like it was missing flavor. I felt like 1/4 of the flavor was there and the rest was just crust. You could probably have a better experience than me. I had half and half of spicy pepperoni and supreme and nothing disappointed. The sauce has a nice, balanced tang, and you can tell everything is made with quality ingredients. It's the kind of pizza that feels like it was just pulled from the oven.

When I walked in, I went straight to the register and saw they already had slices ready for grab-and-go. I went ahead and ordered two BBQ chicken slices because I was starving already! The staff member who assisted me was very friendly. He let me know about the drink options they have and said the Arnold Palmer option is actually made in-house, which was pretty cool, so I went ahead and ordered it! I got a number, and they said they would bring my food to the table, which is pretty cool because I didn't have to stand around and wait lol. The inside was pretty packed, so thank God for outside seating! Lol. I got my order, and the pizza slices are so big, thin, and perfectly foldable, with a crispy crust and great flavor! I love how balanced each ingredient was. Nothing overpowered anything. Can't wait to come back and try other options!
