They weren't kidding when they said they're the best pizza in town! I totally agree! I ordered their Goguma (sweet potato) pizza. Since I'm craving for something sweet yet savory, and this definitely satisfied my craving! I love how garlicky, cheesy, and chewy it was! The best pizza in Koreatown hands down & The best tasting dough pizza I've ever had. All the pizzas taste so YUMMY !! I volunteer for my church's Saturday Korean language school, the children loves their Super Hawaiian pizza & pepperoni pizza; We also order a lot of hot supreme pizza (regular / mild spiciness for Koreans, just ask for less or more jalapeños) delivery often. We often share the pizza with church workers, EVERYONE asks us "where did you get it?". Best tasting pizza in town so sometimes the waiting queue can be long on the weekends, just ask for the wait time & make sure to get the phone call when the delivery guy arrives ! Had pizza (pepperoni), garlic & cheese bread, and chicken wings. The pizza and garlic and cheese bread were greasy and not very flavorful. The wings were ok but small for the $$. Ultimately I would prefer Dominos or Little Caesars as far as taste and price and I wouldn't recommend or get it again. read more

We got this pizza to-go hence (pizza go). A bunch of my friends and I decided to do a blind pizza tasting test with 4 different pizza places amongst 13 people and here were the results out of 10 in order not taking into account price: Pizza go (sweet potato)- 7.42 ($23 for a pie) Tomato pie (regular cheese topping a place in Pasadena) - 6.57 ($21 for just cheese) Papa johns (pineapple and ham) - 6.46 ($10) Dominos (pepperoni and bell peppers)- 6 ($7) The pizza was garlicky,buttery, and sweet with the sweet potato and definitely tastes better HOT. Service: You could order a head of time so when we picked up they gave us the order right away! I would definitely come here every once in a while as a treat - although pricey. So I would suggest perhaps trying curbside delivery. Ambiance: known for to-go delivery, no parking and no place to sit! read more

First review for 2021. Let the new year begin. I'd been meaning to give this spot a try for some time now, and yesterday, I finally did. Great reviews, so had to try them out. Let me begin by saying that I've had some really great pies in NYC, and knew that it would be hard (and maybe not even fair) to use NY pies as the gold standard to measure L.A. pizza by. That said, I try to measure / compare pizza's in L.A. with other pizza joints in L.A. Getting to the point, straight to it, the pie (ordered the combination) was just o.k. for me. The dough had a bit of a chewy texture that wasn't entirely unpleasant, but (trying not to compare, as I compare) definitely not of the thin crust texture variety in NYC. Sausage was o.k. but a hint of sweetness. I prefer a saltier savory flavor. Here's what brings it "down" to 3 stars, and I might be generous. The sauce was spread pretty thin, and tasted a bit like a store bought, sweet, Ragu marinara. Didn't do it for me. Ironically, had some of the wings, and they were actually tender, and savory, and if I may be so kind, actually, better than the pizza. In a nutshell, I can say been there, done that. Not sure if I'll do it again. read more

My coworker recommended this pizza restaurant so I gave it a try. I ordered the sweet potato pizza and it was delicious! Cheesy and love the garlic flavor. Love the simplicity of the pizza. Only thing that was disappointing was that I ordered 2 garlic sauce and they gave me ranch. Simple misunderstanding I suppose and not worth docking a star. My friends were craving pizza on Friday and we ordered hawaiin pizza. I heard good things about this pizza place but we were really disappointed with our order. The portion was okay but it tasted like very ordinary pizza nothing especial, similar to dominos, in my opinion. Plus the pineapples on the pizza was very small cut into pieces looks like they r trying to minimize their ingredients. One of my friend got an upset stomach right after she ate it, so I wouldn't recommend it. read more

Hands down one of my favorite Mom and pop Pizza spot. I've tried literally every single type of speciality pizza at this spot and it's all good. The Super hawaiian to the Chicken Ranch which are two of my favorites to the meat lovers or even the mushroom pizza. Their pizza doesn't taste super greasy and their slices are cut very thinly so you're not stuffing your fat face with huge slices. *Their ranch dressing is hands down one of the best sauces to compliment a pizza I've ever had. I get 10. YES 10. You should too. Call ahead. Unfortunately, they don't do 1/2 and 1/2 either. Also, no pizza by the slice. The owner isn't the nicest btw. Doesn't seem like much fo a talker but who cares if the pizza is this good. JY read more

I've been a patron of this little pizza shop for well over 14 years now. There's something very charming about the fact that it's a small shop and all you have to do is place your order and wait for it to be ready to get it at the window. The pizzas themselves are amazing and while they can be a little pricey due to inflation and all, I find it worth it going here and supporting a local business. I've been passing by this pizza joint for like close to 3 years already since we moved to Koreatown. I've read good reviews and these heightened my interest to try it but the parking is always the problem. On my way home today, tired and hungry, I suddenly thought about dropping by. If I get a parking then definitely this is my happy day! Sure enough, there was a space for me and I headed straight to the window and placed my order of 1 Large Ranch Chicken. Was ready to wait for 15 mins but voila after 8 mins my pizza was ready! Amazing! I couldn't believe I finished 3 slices when I normally would only have 2 slices. What I like the most is the fact that it's not greasy, the crust is tasty and on the chewy side and is loaded with all the good things. Everything smells and tastes fresh. Will definitely come back and hopefully get my free pizza after some 10 orders. read more

This place used to be good, but now it's pretty terrible. Their toppings were so full and abundant but now they skimp. They don't cook the pizza long enough anymore where the cheese is half baked and kinda congealed between the skimpy toppings. Also they put SO many onions on the veggie pizza -- overloaded. The poor guy who takes orders just needs help -- a lot of it. I don't think it's a language barrier thing. He doesn't seem to understand a half and half pizza and struggles when taking very basic pizza orders. Go to Dominos instead. read more

Yesterday, a piece of plastic came out of the pizza I posted. I chewed on it and when I looked at it, it was a hard piece of plastic about the size of a fingernail. Luckily, it only scratched my mouth a little, and it didn't hurt much. I called the store today to ask them to be careful for other customer but the man who answered the phone was very rude and said that they would never put something like that in there. I wouldn't have posted this on Yelp if he had said sorry . When you order a pizza here, chew it carefully. You never know what might be inside. read more

Small Korean pizza shop by the side of 3rd street that looks unassuming but has delicious pizza! Parking: not much space in the tiny lot but wasn't too hard to find street parking nearby. We went on a Wednesday for lunch though, so it might be harder if it was evening / weekend. We got two medium size pizzas and loved both of them. Sweet Potato: They make their own sweet potato mousse and it's delicious! The pizza is simple with just sweet potato mousse, green onion, and cheese, but the sweet potato and green onion pair well together. Sweet potato is a topping unique to korean pizza places, so would recommend if you've never tried! Hot Hawaiian: I personally love pineapple on pizza so I tend to get hawaiian at pizza places. The spiciness of the jalapeno wasn't too strong and balanced the sweetness of the pineapple. The pizzas each come with one garlic sauce that's really tasty. Crust has a nice crunch. Only con might be that the cheese didn't have a stretch, but that might be because it cooled down on the drive home. read more

This place was my favorite pizza place ever, but I will not return to this store after today's bad experience. I placed a pick up order at 7:26PM over the phone and I was told that my order is going to be ready in 15~20 min. I arrived at PizzaGo around 7:50, cashier told me that my order will be ready in minute or two so I waited. About 10 minutes later cashier told me it will be ready in a bit. It was so strange that everyone else (who came to pick up their order) got their order right away and left. I walked up to the pick up window and asked them about my order status once more, that's when the cashier walked up to the pizza prep zone (right next to the register) and started talking to the prep person. Apparently, my order did not even get prep at all. I lost my word when cashier came up to me at 8:15 saying that they didn't even start making it and asked me to wait 7 more min to prepare. I understand that everyone makes mistakes and I know how usually busy they are, but I asked them 3 times to verify my order status and all the answers were "in a minute" or "almost ready". Very disappointing with their customer service. read more

Food: 3.8/5 So I actually really liked the flavor of both pizzas we got. We got the supreme and the potato pizza. Both had really good flavor but the crust seemed a little off to me. It seems like they make the crust there but the crust kinda tasted just like frozen pizza. But because of the flavor, I might try it again. Price: 3/5 The price is pretty average with LA pizza shops so I think its just fine. Service: 4/5 They were very kind. They speak both korean and english and when I asked for ranch and some condiments he just gave them for free. Vibes: 1/5 I cang give them a vibe because its takeout only. Love this place! You can never go wrong with their pizza! Fresh ingredients, the dough to topping ratio is leveled, not doughy at all!! I always get the Combination and Pepperoni Hawaiian! Very good pizza. We ordered online and they were ready in 10 minutes. We got a bbq chicken pizza and it was super flavorful and sauces up. The pizza was not dry or too bready. It had a good amount of cheese but it's not like those super cheesy pizzas. The slices are kinda floppy but with the medium they're not like Brooklyn style mega slices that you can fold. A pizza here is like twice the price of dominos but I think it's worth it. read more

The staff member who assisted me was very friendly. He let me know about the drink options they have and said the Arnold Palmer option is actually made in-house, which was pretty cool, so I went ahead and ordered it! I got a number, and they said they would bring my food to the table, which is pretty cool because I didn't have to stand around and wait lol. The inside was pretty packed, so thank God for outside seating! Lol. I got my order, and the pizza slices are so big, thin, and perfectly foldable, with a crispy crust and great flavor! I love how balanced each ingredient was. Nothing overpowered anything. Can't wait to come back and try other options!
