I get a call from a rep after I submitted my info on their website last night. He starts posing questions about whether or not I would qualify to apply and I respond that I'm not sure whether I want the service or not because I haven't received any particulars about the product that I would receive and the monthly costs. He responds well lets run your credit first because I don't want to spend 20 minutes offering you our services that you don't even qualify for. I responded that an inquiry on my credit report for a service that I do not want is worth more than 20 minutes of his time. He argued that it was not and that he could tell me that it would be more than $40/month. I differed in opinion, adding that since when did "greater than" become an acceptable quote. Potential Customer, Do not waste your time or money with this company unless you have a lot of money and time to waste. Vivint screwed up my system and I continue to get false alarms although they promised to fix the issue a month ago. After the most recent cancellation I called and asked why the technician did not show up and I was told that he cancelled to go to another appointment across town and it would take too long for him to come to my house. How is that an acceptable explanation for canceling my appointment?They suggested that I take off additional time from work that day (I had already missed three hours of work waiting on the technician) so that they could try to send someone out. I informed them that I could not miss anymore work. Then they repeatedly suggested that I allow them to come fix the problem later that week after I told them numerous times I would be out of town. They sent someone anyway and of course I was not home because as I mentioned to them, I was out of town. Instead of trying to fix the problem or offer me a refund they gave me the phone number to use in order to cancel my service. This company has a history of providing poor service to my area which consists of mostly minorities. If they do not wish to do business with us then they should not setup our accounts and take our money. I am extremely disappointed with this company and the way I have been treated. read more

You see the average rating, it's a true sign to stay far away from this company. This is the second time I've been in contract with this company and was mislead by the sales rep. The sales rep said I would get free batteries for my equipment and that I was not bound by any contract except for the cost of the equipment. After moving to a location where I did not require a security system the company says I cannot disconnect the system without paying off the loan for the equipment in full!! This is not what the sales rep told me. Essentially Im tied to a 52$ monthly service fee, without the service until the equipment is paid off. I don't get it, Vivint sends all the college kids from Utah here to push their product on people by misleading with contract language and false incentives. Where is the decency in business any more. The truth of the matter is that they do not monitor very well. My home was broken into and they did not a call to the police or even me for that matter. If you do decide to go with this company the bells and whistles are amazing, just don't have a bugler break-in during the "grace" period or cut the wires to the system because they will do NOTHING and will not compensate for your loss. read more

Buyer Beware!!! My family was approached by a Vivint Sales rep Thursday evening, July 18th. The salesman, Josh Coen, used aggressive and unethical tactics to try their system. We were offered items (that later found could not be delivered), incomplete install, not provided a notice of cancellation, and false contract pricing. Before leaving he left us with a pamphlet detailing products offered and referral cards.He blacked out (with a pen) the corporate number, and stated we should contact him directly with any questions. After calling Josh to cancel the service because of the incomplete install the following day, he was very persistent in offering more products (which he stated would be delivered in two weeks) and discounted price, which I would have to wait until he received an approval from corporate (which he stated would take a few days). I asked for all of this in writing and he stated he did not have my email address (even though an email was required to setup service). I inquired again about the period to cancel because the technician stated 3 days,which conflicted with what he stated. Josh, confirmed i HAD 30 DAYS to cancel. Fast forward a week and half later, I call Josh back to follow-up on the delivery of the products and new contract price, and the conversation is as if it was taken place for the first time. He did not recall anything from our previous conversation, at that point I opted to cancel. He then stated, I was outside of the cancellation period and proceeded to offer a corporate number (which he blacked out in the pamphlet and we did not have, until now). After several phone calls to corporate, our contract cancellation was denied...even after a representative stated it was an option after an inspection. I later found out work orders were altered, misinformation was provided and the sales representative would would not be reprimanded. read more

Now that I see what reviews they've been getting I realize, I should've read the reviews. My experience so far has been short and painful. The sales rep came earlier today and convinced me to install their home security system along with the "new" connector for my solar panels. His explanation about this new connector didn't make sense, it sounded like the old one was only estimating how much electricity the solar panels produced and they have been overcharging me, and the new one will be more accurate. That alone should have been a red flag. Then when I told him I'd get back to him after I talked to my wife, he said the installers are here in the neighborhood, why wait, and btw you can cancel it within the first month without any charge. That was another sign. Unfortunately, I ignored the signs and sign the contract. First, the installers came about an hour later and told me right away they were in a hurry because there are two or three more clients they need to go to. There were a bunch of hiccups, first the thermostat did fit my HVAC system, then the wi-fi router was the wrong kind. The salesperson kept pushing and offering me some incentives, but more and more it just didn't feel right. So, I finally told him that I don't need his incentives, I just want to cancel the system. At this point that started threatening me that if something goes wrong with their equipment, I'd have to pay for it, even though I told them I had no plans to use it. Now I'm supposed to mail the cancellation letter and I'm hoping they will cancel without any delays. I will update this review once it's over. read more

My story with vivint smarthome. They arrived at my mothers house at 9.pm telling her they had an appointment with her to install a new security system for her. She did not know them the company and she never does anything with technology without my endorsement as a 20year IT professional. So there is no way she asked for this appointment. They knew her name, address, telephone number and date of birth (where did they get this information from?) After asking to use the bathroom they gathered even more information about her (she has a Nest that i setup) and used this to convince her that they were affiliated with Nest ( owned by google ) and that they were going to give her the security equipment free (she has no money for this kind of equipment being retired and on a fixed income) They did tell her about an $80 a month service fee again that she can not afford and she told them this. My 69 year old mother does not function well after 8pm they used this and other scare tactics to convince her that she would not be safe without this equipment and service. My mother rents so she does not even own this house. Their procedure forces them to call a central office which interviewed my mother prior to installation. The sales man told my mother what to answer to every question again this is 3 unknown people in her house late at night while she was alone and scared. So she lied to the interviewer at the sales mans demand when asked questions that she knew at the time were lies. They had her put initials on a cell phone for her signature. I am not sure why but my elder sister was also someway connected to this (she lives an hour away had no knowledge of this company) so they had my mother sign for my sister. and then proceeded to install all of this equipment while my mother hid in her bedroom at this point very scared. By 10:30pm they were still in her house trying to get her to understand all of this equipment setup passcodes and things when she finally told them they had to leave so she could sleep (she is normally in bed and asleep by 10pm) They promised to come back the following day to setup the security alarm pad. They did not. She called me the next day and i drove up to see what in the world she was talking about. I immediately called their customer support and demanded they remove the equipment and refund her money. Their customer support was apologetic (but that does not cut it for them to allow these practices to go on). They confirmed that the individuals were indeed direct employees and not contractors. I was on the phone with them 2.5 hours trying to get them to cancel the service and pick up their equipment. Which i learned several facts from the call. 1. They have a 3 day cancellation policy for customers under the age of 70 (this is important because that means they know this is going on and are actively trying to enforce this contract on customers--remember they knew my mothers birth date and age before they arrived so they knew she would only have 3 days to get out of this) we were fortunate in that i called on the third day and was able to get it cancelled. 2. the customer support rep had heard of this type of behavior before although he admitted never this bad. 3. everyone but the initial support rep claimed to be a manager and there was no need for me to escalate to a manager -- you should always be able to escalate an issue and everyone can't be a manager. 4. once this 3day grace period is up you are locked into an extremely long contract (5 years) read more

I wanted to leave a review as I thought best to share my experience with many people. I initially had a horrible encounter/experience with this company. All sales associates and customer service representatives and supervisors at both levels were not helpful and extremely resistant. I proceeded to call the corporate office for resolution. I do not believe I ever found a number for that office but I found a number of a Mr. Dale Gerald. Nevertheless, I called the number not expecting very much but left a message of my concerns and surprisingly to me, I received a returned call from Josie. Josie is amazing and should be recognized for the wonderful customer service she provided. For something I had received difficult hurdle from all other representative prior, she handled my situation with professionalism and great understanding. Buyer beware! We were told when we signed up that if we moved to an area that did not allow or have this service that we could cancel our contract. That is the only reason we agreed to move forward. They will now not agree to that and we will have to pay for 15 months of service that we cannot use! Their account staff does not know how to handle conflict and the "supervisors" are a joke. Don't fall for it. Their equipment SUCKS! We have had the system for 6 months and have had nothing but issues. If they troubleshoot over the phone (which typically takes 20 - 30 minutes of your time and has you running back and forth between the device and the panel), all is good (assuming that works). If they have to come out, they charge you a service fee - FOR WARRANTY WORK! You don't have the option NOT to pay it. Their crappy equipment breaks and you pay for them to come replace it. And then they think they are doing you a favor discounting the charge from $50 to "only" $35. I will NOT renew the contract. Such crap! BEWARE and do your research first! read more

I have had a technician at my home about four times due to non working cameras. I was told to send a written notice to cancel and remove the panels out of my walls and send them back. When their system was installed they took my existing system with them. I called the company to ask for my panels back that I paid for and was told they threw them away. I will not leave holes in my walls because they took my prior equipment. Beware of door to door sales. This company should not be trusted. read more

The worst!!! I have only had Vivint for about five months and I regret it whole heartedly. Both my cameras are out and my thermostat is not working with furnace. On 12/29/17 I was the phone with Vivint rep for over an hour. She had running checking panel, cameras, going to circuit breaker (she wanted me to turn all circuits breakers off, which I didn't do), suggested to me to check wiring in thermostat (I didn't do that because I am not comfortable doing so), reboot control panel, pull plugs out and plug them back in for their equipment. I all most felt like I worked for Vivint. Finally got a date for technician to come out 01/03/2018. Well, would you believe the technician never showed up. I never received a call that technician called out sick. I wasn't told about tech not coming out until I called them after my scheduled appt time. I asked the rep is there only one technician in Maryland to do work. Now he is trying to tell me the next available day is 01/08. That will not DO. I will call my bank and have them stop processing my monthly payment for Vivint and see how fast I can get a tech out to me so they can have their money. Initially, when we signed up for Vivint in June of 2016, the salesman told us that our two cats would not set off the motion detectors because they were small, however they did, all the time. We had several false alarms and the police sent us a letter telling us that if we had additional false alarms they would start charging us for them. We've had a Vivint tech in to set it to a lower setting, but because the two cats chase each other, they look like one larger person, and they set it off. The tech told us there was no way to set it low enough that they wouldn't set off the alarm. In November 2016, we tried to cancel our service based on being lied to by the salesman, but Vivint would not cancel our contract. We stopped arming it. In December 2017, our heat pump broke. When my husband was trying to use our Vivint home panel to turn the heat off so that it wasn't trying to run a broken system, he couldn't find the emergency heat option in the panel, so he called Vivint customer service. The tech that he spoke with noticed that the original Vivint tech who installed and programmed the panel hadn't told the panel that there was an E-heat option. He said that since we started with Vivint, our thermostat hasn't been able to turn on the emergency heat coil when the temperature dropped too low. Our heat pump burned itself out because of the Vivint system in our home. We asked for a copy of the tech's notes from this phone call but were told that we would need a subpoena to obtain the notes. It cost us $3,385 to replace our heater. We filed a damage claim with Vivint over the phone, and it was denied and we were notified by phone. We have requested a copy of this claim denial twice by email and once by phone and we haven't been able to get the claim in writing. They told us to appeal the damage claim denial by emailing claimsresolution@vivint.com, and the email was returned as undeliverable today, December 30, 2017. read more

Wish i could give negative stars. I had a salesman come to my house @9pm on a saturday and i agreed to get the system and was told it would be $47 for that day for my 1st months payment and 40 mins later two 20yr old show up to my house to install playing around cursing and arguing half the time, making a mess in my home to which they didnt clean up or offer to clean it up about 2 hours later i was asked to sign off that the equipment was installed later to find out they were charging me over $800 which was my full payment of my equipment which was no my agreement it was supposed to be added monthly on my bill. I was told they dont open up until 10am Monday so i would have to wait to speak with someone after speaking to 3 diff people i still dont have my money back. It took 30 sec to take my money why am i having to wait up to 7 days to have it refunded?? I am a single mother of 2 kids and over $800 being STOLEN from me in no way is ok with me. I at this point just want my money and want this system out my home its a very nice system but being lied to and FRAUDED is not gonna go over easy with me i will let all my friends and family know NEVER to work with them, my gma has had them for over 10 years and now she will be dropping them to they tried to get over on me because im a younger lady all alone in a home with my kids i worked my self to the ground to get what i have and to have someone do this is wrong. read more

It's been a year and a half since purchasing this service and I can't find one thing positive about it! Once a month I'm forced to call for technical support and I'm on my second installed system by this company. Today I find myself a prisoner within my own home because the system won't disarm... Found out this AM that Technical Support is not 24/7; an automated system indicated that I was a valued Customer but "we are unable to help you, please call back during normal business hours". They didn't even mention their "normal" business hours... Finally got someone on the phone only to be told to play technician or be billed for a technician. Ok, but I don't get paid to be a technician however, I do pay a monthly fee for service so... Anyway, I'm told by a virtual tech that all I need to do is unplug the power to the system and unplug the battery within the panel. Really...then exactly how secure is my family then? When the system is in "Stay" mode only the doors are armed; no motion or vibration detection available, so a likely intruder only needs to come through a window or some other unseemly access and unplug the system. Unfortunately, our family are victims to a 60 month contract for a product and service that doesn't deserve my hard earned money! Oh, and I failed to mention that we were on a recent two week vacation believing that our home was secure after receiving confirmation from my mobile phone as such, only to return to find out from our panel that it had been unsecured... read more

The worst security system! I have had 3 techs come out and attempt to fix my display panel because it keeps freezing while "updating". I haven't even had the system for a full month. My family does not feel secure at all with a useless frozen display panel. They won't let me out of the contract because it's passed the 3 day period. DO NOT Choose this company. This is a follow up to a previous post. I purchased service from Vivint in July because of all of the great things I heard about the customer service. The technician installed my equipment but gave me motion detectors instead of the glass break devices or sensors that I requested. I expressed concerns with the motion detectors because I have a cat and I was assured that he would not trigger the alarms. Shortly after the technician left my home, my cat triggered the alarm. Since July I have tried to get a technician to come back to my home and install the glass break devices and there have been 13 no shows. I have taken off of work on numerous occasions expecting for the technician to make his scheduled appointment and no one has ever shown up. I called Saturday, October 1st to cancel my service because legally the failure to respond to my issue is a breach of contract. I also believe it is discrimination as I have been told by customer service agents on numerous occasions that the technician did not show up for my appointment in order to service properties in more affluent areas of town. When I called to cancel service I was told that I would either have to refer a customer or buy out my contact. I would NEVER refer someone to Vivint considering the way I have been treated as a customer, for them to even suggest that I do so is laughable. I do not believe I should have to pay to get out of a contract that Vivint breached. The practices of this company are downright discriminatory and racist. Buyer beware! read more

Vivint just can't get it right. They have repeatedly charged me for items I do not owe. I call and am on the phone with them for hours and they reverse the charge. 2 days later the charge appears again. Another call, on the phone another 2 hours, charge is taken off. This has happened 4 times in 2 weeks. I can't take the stress and I won't risk having them ruin my excellent credit. It seems that they are hoping I won't check my bill and I will just pay them thousands of dollars. Had a door sensor installed badly, broke it when I opened the door, had to almost break the remaining pieces to get the door closed, it was alarming so I called customer service and asked them to take it offline semi-permanently, came home after 10 hours and it was still alarming, took almost an hour to finally get to a tech to disarm it. Tried to cancel for breach of contract and they said we'd have to pay the full contract out. Tried to get them to cut the price, the guy said all he could do was remove service, couldn't cut the charge, even with piss poor service. One star because the technicians that came over were very kind and professional. ONLY one because the equipment is cheap... as a result, I had multiple techs come out to fix and replace the equipment. Finally after about almost a year of paying for non functioning equipment I stopped payments and tried to express my grievances. Although the customer service representatives were cordial and seemed to be understanding, I promptly received a notice from a debt collector. I even expressed my concerns to one of the board members who I was very good friends with. No response. I'm not a jerk and I've never written a bad review about any company. SO when we moved into our house we decided to get an alarm system. we decided to use a company call Vivint. If you are thinking about using this company DONT! And let me tell you why...there product is janky and their customer service is HORRIFIC. With in the first six months of having it one of the cameras stopped working. I called a phew times to schedule someone to come out (which we have to pay for) after 4 attemps of waiting on line for longer than 30 minutes i got a hold of someone...scheduled the appointment...and guess what no one came....so i said F-it we really didnt need to second camera so i just took it down....well then about 6-7 month later the second one stopped working! so i tried to call again . Was met with the same problems of not being able to get a hold of anyone via phone or email. Emailing told me to call a number...i would call the number...was set on hold. So i decided to stop paying. Well GUESS WHAT. when my payment was late they called us...i talked to the guy on the phone i said i will pay my bill but i need someone to come out and fix my equipment. So i paid. Then was transferred to another department . waiting for 20 minute. scheduled the appointment....no one showed again. However the one camera i had set up started working again. for a period of time....this has been going on now for 3 years. However for the past three months the camera has not been working. so i have not been paying. I have emailed. them several times and we just got a response after my last email which basically said i want to cancel service. Now you might be asking why did you just do this in the first place....well thats because the contract is for 5 years and if you cancel before that you have to pay the remaining amount of the equipment which is no small amount. But at this point and the level of productivity and customer service i am requesting them to eat the rest of the costs because in my opinion they have not fulfilled their end of the contract! SO i email them ALLLLLL this information and request a cancellation with no fees to pay. We get a response and day or so later saying call this number........i have called the number 4 times and left two messages. It goes straight to voicemail every time I call. DO NOT GO WITH VIVINT if you are not sure yet if the security system is for you. You are signing up the contract for 48 month (which you don't even realize due to the small print) and can't get out of it unless you buy yourself out by paying the entire balance. My husband and I have been talking about getting the security system for a while and when sales people from VIVINT knocked on the door, my husband said "yes" (I was out of country at that time). He signed a contract without paying close attention to details. They gave him 3 days to terminate it which is not even enough to realize whether you like the product or not. With kids running back and forth and my husband constantly stepping outside to smoke, we started to realize that it's not for us. Not knowing that we were obligated to stay with VIVINT for 48 month, I called the customer service ... guess what? Do not use Vivint for your home security. I repeat do not use Vivint for your home security. We have had issues with the main panel and the doorbell camera. When you call Vivint, you have to become the technician and follow their instructions to troubleshoot the problem. A technician is never offered to the customer, you have to consistently request one. Then they want to charge you for the technician to come and fix their broken equipment. With all the calls and continued issues after not even having the equipment for a year, I wish we would have went with someone else. It's horrible. To top everything off, we finally got an appt for a tech between 4pm and 8pm, however, by 815pm, there was no technician. Called Vivint, somehow the appt was cancelled, but we didn't cancel it, nor did Vivint call to tell us it was cancelled. Now we have to wait two weeks for another appt. I warn all of you, do not enter into a contract with Vivint. Go with a more reliable company. The customer service is horrible. Charging customers for a technician on equipment that is faulty and no fault of the customer is unacceptable. Also cancelling appts without customer knowledge is unacceptable. Making the customer become a technician is unacceptable. Not providing some type of incentive to the customer for weeks and days of phone calls about faulty equipment is unacceptable. Service has been OK....however cancelling service is a bit much. I have been with Vivint over three years. I called in Dec . 2015 to get a reduction in price because it is too expensive for me to continue. I got a slight reduction. Today I called to cancel my coverage because I can no longer afford it . I am told I had two options payout the remaining 1 9 months $1,499.00) or get someone else to replace my contract. ( in other words make a sale for them). That is crazy. I am told that when I asked for a lower rate that automatically starts a new 42 month contract. I have never heard of such business practices. read more

Do not use this company. While the company overall might be great, there seems to be a severe lack of competence in their Washington, DC location. After taking time off of work Vivint did not show up for two scheduled appointments and then changed the time at the last minute of the third. Finally, when the technician showed up he installed everything but when installing our thermostat he incorrectly shut the HVAC door shutting down the entire HVAC system for 2 days (while it was 95 degrees outside). Vivint failed to show up to fix it so we hired our own HVAC company that fixed it immediately. During installation the tech also messed up a bunch of wires behind one of our light switches when installing the doorbell and now one of our inside overhead lights does not work. This has not been fixed yet and the first electrician that vivint sent out was unable to fix it due the extensive damage by the tech. I am still trying to fix everything they messed up. I have to tell eveeryone who will listen to me NOT to get VIVINT home security system. I signed up when it was APEX in 2007, for 3 years. Unfortunately, I was sick when the contract was up for remewal and being in the hospital and on a respirator, I was in no position to cancel my automatically renewing contract! Instead of going month to month it automaticaly renews for a YEAR! Now, having been unemployed for 6 months, am trying to catch up on bills and finances and am three months behind on my bill (sorry to have to tell everyone) and they will NOT let me out of the contract. Did I say I cant use the system ad one of the sensor's fell offand cant be found. They want to charge me $60 to come and fix it. They said that I can get an upgrade to my system and they would come out free, IF I signed another 2 year agreement. They put me in contact with account resolution who said they would lower my monthly bills by $10 if I signed a new 2 year contract. They also said if I had died they would release me from the contract! I lived and am glad for it, but just don't what their service and can get it cheaper (even with their "wonderful" discount) elseware! #WorstCompanyEver........I will "NEVER" recommend no one else to this company. The customer service reps tells u incorrect information. They company is the worst. My smoke detected stop working and the rep on the phone told me it was going to be a fee for her to send me a new one that works. Then she preceed to tell me to send the other one back once I received the new one. Once the new one came and I activated it and asked the gentleman who activate my new smoke detector. What's address should I send ithe old smoke detector. He told me, I did not have to send it back. The first representative was incorrect. Then I just looked on my credit card statement And saw was charged for not returning their product. Now I have to File a fraud claim with my credit card. Not even going to waste my time calling them back. Because I might get a different answer the third time around. I would never refer one else to this company. If u are smart, u would NOT sign with them either. BIGGEST MISTAKE of my LIFE!!! Do yourself a favor and Go with another company, like I wish I had done. I can't wait til my contract is up!!! COMPANY HAS FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICES. HEED THE WARNINGS. Called Vivint to sign up for service on Nov. 30. They scheduled an initial set up date to come to our house which was a week or so away. They asked for a down payment of 223.69 that my husband paid over the phone and was charged to his credit card that day. Two days later on 12/1 we changed our minds and cancelled the request. They never came to our house, never signed a contract or received any type of service from them. Our salesperson said that he would issue a refund right away. A week went by and still no refund. We called back and spoke to him. He said that he forgot to put in for the refund but he would do it right then and we should see it in 5 days. It's been 5 days and still no refund. Called again on 12/13 and asked to speak to a manager. Spoke to someone again who claimed to be one..BS!! He said that he didn't know why we hadn't already received the refund. Gave me all the BS apologies and seemed so appalled -whatever! He said that he would escalate to his boss but didn't give me a name or any contact information. Said that I should wait another 5 days. There is no corporate office or way to contact anyone other than salespeople to resolve your issues. You just get the run around. Day 14 and no sign of a refund. Sent to the fraud department at our bank and the BBB bureau. They already have hundreds of complaints against them. read more

I've read some of the reviews and see some good ones. I will agree that the technicians who installed the system were very professional and thorough with explaining how the system works. We had minimal issues with the system and for the most part were pleased with it's functionality. I was leary about signing such a long contract but moved forward anyway. The problem came when we sold our house and decided to let the new buyers take over the contract and the security system. Long story short the buyers of our home has been waiting for VIVINT to transfer the system over to them. VIVINT has been a no show twice with no phone call or followup. The buyers have called and been told different stories each time. It seems to me that VIVINT could care less about transferring the system because they will still get their money from me (bank account debit). So although we were told it wouldn't be an issue to transfer the system if we were to sell our house, it has been an issue. I'm still paying for a system I can't use. The equipment was left in the house for the buyer because the plan was for them to take it over. Something needs to be done. How can they con people into signing this lengthy contracts and lying about the ability to get out of them if you sell your home. read more

Vivint has extremely discriminatory practices. They have no issue telling you that they cancelled your appointment to service more upper class areas. Six times my appointment was canceled the day that the technician was supposed to arrive and they didn't even have the courtesy or professionalism to call and notify me. Six times I stayed and waited during the three hour window for someone to arrive. Six times I took off of work for this issue to get resolved. Not one time was I offered a credit for my inconvenience, lost wages, or the service I was paying for and not receiving. The salesmen are friendly and helpful to get your business, but once you sign the contract get ready for poor service. Actually, be prepared for no service. The problem is so bad in my area that a large group of us are filing a class action lawsuit for breach of contract, discrimination, and loss of funds. BUYER BEWARE. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I have a 42 month Monitoring contract, worth $2099.58 dollars and the only way to get out of the contract is to recommend someone else who will take over the contract. " I feel like I was bamboozled by the number of savings plans being offered". When I spoke with the sales represented and he informed me that it wouldn't be much higher than the other monitor company's. He started telling me about this great bell camera plan and I get excited. Unfortunately, he fall to tell me that I needed to already have all the wiring already installed. I had to call a electrician out to get a price for wiring. It turned out to be way to expensive to do rewiring. This plan was $59.00 dollars with (door bell camera and inside camera). So, since I'm not getting the door bell, they have scheduled a pick up the inside camera. The bill went from 59.00 to 49.00 dollars a month and ADT is $36.99 for the same thing. This is one bad nightmare, I wish it was all over. Also, when I was talking with the customer service Rep, he basically said deal with it. Their plans are much HIGHER than most monitor company's. I should have went with ADT. read more
