I guess it's my bad for not reading the fine print, but it's pretty shady to lock your loyal customers into extended contracts. Auto-renew for one year if you must, not 5-10. I also spent about 9k on wiring with American Home Systems when we built the house, so it's not like they were losing money on our deal. I would avoid this company at all costs.

During the consultation, as Sriram (2021) observed, Rob "took notes of the locations where I wanted the drops, estimated the length of each run from the networking rack, and how the drops would be wired, carefully noting the number of cuts needed."
