Not recommended! EPMD installed our tv on the wall and we kept telling him that the bracket was crooked and he kept saying it was not. Well, three years later, we purchase a new tv and was told by the new installer that the bracket was crooked. Called EPMD and was asked why didn't we call them to install (right, so we could pay you another $200). It never crossed his mind to offer to come and correct his error. Very professional, knew exactly what to do, how to do and also provided options for TV mounts if they weren't provided. They were tricky to pin down for a date/time, but well worth it. Phil arrived to the appointment almost 2 hours late. Once he arrived he walked into my home without gloves and booties for his shoes. I had to ask him to to put booties on. While working he placed a drill onto my furniture and clothes that I had been folding. I had to ask him to remove the drill. He began to drill the mount into the back of the TV. Only once he had touched it did the screen look as attached. He refused to take any responsibility. If he was a true professional why would you not check the TV prior to starting the job to insure the wasn't "broken" prior to starting the job? Phil is a horrible business owner. He asked my boyfriend to assist him with the TV on multiple occasions because his assistant had a "family" emergency. This is totally unacceptable, I will be filing a small claims against him and his company. Now looking back I understand why none of the reviews are recent. He agreed to meet me at that time. He arrived before I made it home and worked fast, was very kind and very efficient. I highly recommend this company. Outstanding service! These gentlemen were very professional. Phil explained everything in complete detail, stuck to the exact price as discussed, and commenced to a job well done. My TV was mounted to the wall within a very short period of time. And again, very professionally done. I love what it did to my man cave. In addition, these guys do it all when it comes to electric installation. On the same day, Phil and Derrick (good guys too) looked out for me by installing a flood light that I purchased a few months prior. For example, I forgot to purchase extra HDMI cable for my DVD player and they were already custom making me one on the spot. I hired them to mount my new 75" , about 80lb tv, installation price seemed right. After the installation everything looked right and the tech left. I then tried to tilt my tv to adjust the angle (up/down) and suddenly the tv moved abruptly dropped to one side. I checked behind the tv and one of the tv mount bolts had come off as was sticking out off the wall. I had to call someone else for help to remove the tv off the bracket before it fell on the floor. After removing the tv off the tv mount I saw the wall mount screws where not even drilled into the studs of the wall. I don't think a stud finder was ever used on this job which blows my mind. The mount had been installed on just the drywall. There were also only 3 screws used as opposed to at least 4 on the whole wall mount. One of the screws was not even holding anything, I could pull it out with my fingers. The other one had come loose and the third one was holding most of the tv mount onto the wall. I had to remove everything and mount it properly onto actual studs on the wall so it's secured. I also used more screws to keep it in place. Pretty bad service for such a simple task I thought I would have a profesional take care of. read more

He hid all of the wires behind the walls and even set them all up with the cable boxes and DVD players. On the main TV, he installed the surround sound and Wii. What a guy! The 3 stars is for quality of work, which is great. Derrick mounted two televisions, two electric fireplaces and built a custom shelving unit on my wall in my apartment. All for a reasonable price that was lower than many other quotes that I'd received. He does good work, that I can't deny...if you're lucky enough to get a hold of him. With that being said, he lost two stars due to poor customer service and reliability. The reviewers below me are absolutely right unfortunately. He was a no show 3 times after I'd booked an appointment. The first was due to an issue he had with his vehicle, understandable. The second time he didn't even bother to notify me. I contacted him, and he claimed to have a family emergency....ok cool, things happen. The third time he was a no show...no prior warning nor did he respond to any of my messages or make any effort to reschedule. Just ghosted me. 3 strikes you're out in any ball game. Additionally, his hours of availability are all over the place. Originally it was evenings and weekends. That randomly and abruptly changed to him only being available on weekdays during the day (or before rush hour as he put it). No weekend or evening availability. Now the average person works during the day, which means you'd have to take time off from your job to accommodate his schedule. There's no excuse for you not to show up when I'm leaving work in the middle of the day/morning to accommodate you. Disrespectful, inconsiderate and unprofessional all rolled into one. read more
