I then logged on to Yelp and searched for a contractor. Several companies came up...Some of them had great reviews and others didn't. I sat and read all the reviews but there was something about this company that felt right to me. I called and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Ruslan came out. I found him to be very warm and professional. We did a walk through and within days i was sent an estimate. After reviewing the estimate, i decided to go with them and signed a contract. The first day on the job they showed up on time and was ready to work. So much was done within the first week. These guys are very hard workers and they wasted no time when doing their job. There were several hiccups with the plumber and electrician but they were very patient. Ruslan is very meticulous at what he does. I felt very comfortable knowing that we shared something in common. I liked the fact that he allowed me to express my ideas and was open to changes throughout the project. The previous company wouldn't allow me to make changes. Finally, my home is completed and it's gorgeous! I'm so happy and very grateful for all the work that was done by Dargo Home Improvement, llc. I wanted everything to be sustainable and non toxic, particularly with the engineered hardwoods, which are manufactured and I wanted them thick enough for refinishing down the road. Eddie did a lot of searching for us and really found the best option out there for us and they looked gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. He and the owner even called me about the installation for the basement floors and said they would have to use tiny drops of glue at the joints but they had found a non toxic glue to use and sent me the material safety data sheet. The price was more than reasonable, especially considering they had to pull out about an acre of wall to wall carpeting! The work was done very well and I know if I have any issues, they will correct them. Great company!

I gave a lot of grace in the beginning due to time constraints that were outside of the company, but soon started to see that the GC was the problem. I was told the project was going to take 3-months - it took about 8 months to complete and I'm still waiting on some items. A lot of work had to be redone due to it being installed improperly or sloppy work. I expressed how I wanted things to go and the contractor did their own thing. I issued the last check with the impression that they would come back to fix my shower because on the best day the water is hot for maximum of 2 minutes and cold after that . I haven't heard from the contractor in months. I've called, emailed, spoken to the assistant that said they would call back but haven't. I would not recommend this company at all. Let's just say that my contactor was at my home for most of the day as there were some unexpected issues with installing my ceiling fan and with my front door lock. Leon, my contractor, was very easy going and friendly and when I had a problem with locking my door he came back to fix it w/no problems. Dan and Leon are great and they really care about your satisfaction as a customer. They will not let the sun go down if something is not right and you are not completely satisfied. I know it was an extremely long day for Leon as it was for me, as he shifted his work to accommodate carpet cleaners, movers, air vent and dyer duct contractors and even stop to give attention to my 10 year old yorkie poo. He definitely made my new house feel like a home!! I'm sooo pleased with BFF that they really have become my BFF Handyman!
