I presented my ID 4 different times and closed out my tab after I consumed 1 $18 drink, and my real out of state ID was put under a microscope. Additionally, another customer has the same Florida ID I had and the bartenders were comparing both!! The same ID I used to get on a flight. Are you telling me a US Government agency can't detect a fake, and a small bar in the Bronx can? After the 4th and final time, the (Andre L & team) bartenders told me to wait for the manager to come and resolve this issue. Why would I waste more of my time after my night was ruined to further "resolve" this non-issue? The pride flag out in front is clearly not representative of their all-inclusivity if they're accusing a Black woman of using a fake ID.

The renovation is great! Clean, friendly, strong drinks and a couple TVs for various sports. The owners could NOT be nicer! One offered me and my friends shots both times I've been there. The bartenders are a group of sweet young ladies that are cool and never leave your cup empty for long. Dave on Sunday is a funny guy. I really hope this place stays a little more hip then the old school pubs around the area. I've lived in this area for a while and don't feel like I have a local watering hole. Here's hoping! I ended it just sticking to beer and the bartender kept checking in to made sure that my beer was never empty. The drinks /prices were reasonable. First and foremost, thank you Jimmy, because when I tell you this man went above and beyond to make everyone feel like family at his establishment, I truly mean it. Jimmy personally checked in with everyone going table to table making sure everyone was enjoying themselves, asking if everything was good from the drinks, atmosphere, music and food was to satisfaction because he genuinely wanted everyone to enjoy and especially told my husband it's a blessing to hit a milestone, celebrating with family and friendsand hope his place made it a memorable one. Upon arrival, management informed us they had no cook and no staff available and were unsure if anyone would be coming in due to an impending storm. For context, the storm was not expected until Sunday. There was no one available to serve drinks or hookah, and we were advised to leave, eat elsewhere, and come back. When we returned later that evening (still before 11:00 PM), we asked for hookah and were quoted $43. I showed them their Instagram story posted just a few hours earlier advertising promotional pricing valid before 11 PM. Despite this, they refused to honor their own posted promotion. Between the lack of staffing, poor communication, and refusal to honor advertised pricing, this was a very disappointing experience. I came to unwind and instead left frustrated. This reflects poorly on management and overall business practices.
