Super fake bartender idk how she still works behind the var more like she needs to be security. Anyways enoygh of her my jack n coke was good. So was my chips they someone else served. My friend uber me home. So he had to wait to i got to my destination and he gets one. His phone died. He ask mean bartender if ahe has a charger she says NO well then on. He then ask if she kno any cab or can help she said when she is finish. Seriously no one is in the bar for that, your customer tip you and your not gonna help. I wanted to use my groupon before it expired. Lol. I dragged my BF to this place around 8pm on a Monday. Place was dead (as to be expected). They have a pool table, small bar, and side tables, plus a big projector and a few TVS near the bar. Nothing fancy, it's dungeon like. Alittle funky smelling (including the bathrooms) there are pretty cheap drink specials, and The mini fishbowls are $10 with a lot of flavors. The cherry lime was sweet with a slight kick. Bartender was nice and explained everything thoroughly. They only had about 2 hookah flavors to choose from out of the maybe 10 or so. Hookah was good not too rough, and lasted long. Mint was a good flavor. I probably wouldn't come here again though. Alittle sketchy, and no parking whatsoever. It's the middle of car warehouses and auto body shops. This place refuses veteran service. Danny was presented a retired veteran id as well as florida state ID and refused entrance and service. My family went into a empty bar and this guy pushed them out saying he faked his service and both his state and federal IDs. I have filed with the following commissions: NYC liquior authority, Commission for Human Rights, NYC tourism board and the City of NYC Mayor's office. Skyline Bar is a hidden gem in the Bronx. It is located on an empty block but once you're inside, its a such a chill and welcoming environment. The bartender is kind and knows how to make a drink exactly how you like it. It does get a little packed around midnight on the weekends but the crowd is relaxed and conversational. If there has ever been any rowdiness, the bar owner (who is usually there every night) handles it quickly and quietly. Did I mention the drinks are dope! The fish bowls are amazing and seriously knock you on your butt before you notice it. Prices are great for quality and size. Also there is hookah! I forgot everyone's name at this point but they were awesome. 15-20 people of all legal ages came out to celebrate and they treated us great. I can't really rate this establishment much, because I entered and left right away. First off, this lounge is located in the middle if nowhere. They have a pool table, a juke box to play whatever music you want to listen to which I love and the drinks are strong. Drinks average out to about 8$, they have these really cool fish bowls that come in different flavors, one alone will have you feeling nice for the rest of the night and they're huge and only 25$. Many people seem not to like it cause it tends to have a small crowd majority of the time but thats exactly why I love it. Your able to get a good seat at the bar and really enjoy yourself. They have a jukebox but even when that isn't playing, the music is good. Nicole is a really great bartender, she makes almost anything you ask her too. Small low key bar. Not much diversity in there and the music mostly caters to Latinos but my drink was good. I had a mini fish bowl. Was scrolling through google and found this lounge and while looking at pictures of the inside I remembered I came here about three years ago. It was one of my friends birthday and I am not sure if it was a private event or what not, but it was pretty dead inside. It was maybe about 20 people max there that night. The music was ok but that's about all that I can remember. The spacing was really small as well. If you go to a nearby hotel they will recommend a different bar that I'll leave unnamed but I've been to both and skyline is the best in terms of hospitality and pretty much every category that matters for a bar. We went there on Wednesday night and it was almost empty. So if you come there you can enjoy since you can play darts there. There is no draft beer. Music is nice and in general this bar is nice. The place is very small which I read and it's okay. The drinks were completely exaggerated and reviews are probably written by the employees and close friends.
