What a wonderful spot for you to explore. We wanted to take our friend out to dinner for his birthday he likes a low key style. We called a head since it was 6 of us to see if we could do a walk in or if we needed a reservation , and both options are available which is a plus. Dress attire is your choice we dressed regular nothing fancy just day to day hang out style. We were greeted kindly by the staff sat down handed a set of dominoes to play with while we waited for our food and drank some water. The place is decorated nicely and you can see the vision in mind definitely. We placed our orders and I'm not gonna lie I came in thinking the food was gonna be eh but I was blown away by the flavors. For drinks we ordered a spicy sunset, pretty young thing and cokes. The spicy sunset is a nice strong drink and is rimmed nicely with just the right amount is tajin as you drink it; it has a nice smoky after taste to it definitely was delicious. The pretty young thing was a nice citrusy drink with a little salty aftertaste, which balanced out the flavor nicely. The cokes were not water down they were good as well. For food we ordered the Cuban sandwich with parmesan fries, butter chicken wings, butter chicken macaroni and cheese, steak nachos grande, butter chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and mom's butter chicken platter. This was a wonderful Spanish and Indian style combination of flavors. Definitely my first time having this type of food and wow what a mind blowing experience. Not one person in the table complained or had anything negative to say about their food. We all tried each other's food and each bite we exchanged to try was delicious and better than the last . The Cuban was delicious but the parmesan fries stole the show from that meal it was paired so lovely who would've thought those flavors would've mixed nicely. The buttery chicken wings oh my God dripping with goodness each bite was legit finger licking good lol. The butter chicken macaroni very very delicious. Had a nice cheese pull and a good balance could not stop eating it. The steak nachos were delicious I wish It had a little more meat, but it was not bad. The butter chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries also delicious and the fries were cooked so nicely that it was crispy and soft at the same time per bite. The mom's butter chicken platter was delicious they gave the right amount of sauce, the pita bread was delicious and soft, the salad that it was paired with was good too the rice was decently portioned. Everything was definitely tasty. Not one complaint of any of the meals. We did not wait long for the food. Bathrooms were nice and clean. I want to come back to try more things in the menu that's how good the food was and our group agreed to also come back with us. This spot is definitely a place to try. They have a beautiful quote right near the bar that really spoke to us, especially during these times it said "you are exactly where you need to be." It makes you stop for a second and really take it in and just live in the moment ... especially living in New York, where you have to be always go go go fast fast fast. I stop in on a Saturday evening with my friend. We were looking for a place to talk and have a drink. We sat at the bar and did just that. We did a mojito pitcher, nothing to go crazy over but for the price why not. We also had Guac. This is were the pissed me off, the chip to guacamole ratio was off, and they could have given more of the store bought guacamole. The sliders were pretty good, as far as bar bites goes. I went to the last stop during Taco Tuesdays and was not disappointed. The tacos are very reasonably priced with more than enough protein given on them - no skimping :). The margaritas are also pretty good, but I thought that they could be a little stronger so I would buy a margarita and a shot and add the shot to the margarita (power move I know). I also had the elote which wasn't bad but after visiting Mexico City, nothing can compare all in all, this is a fun spot in the Bronx. read more

I've been here a few times for drinks - it's a chill spot with great drinks and great bartenders. But last night, I was on the couch with my husband...it was 10pm, and we saw a cooking show with great looking chicken wings...and suddenly we both had a craving. And it reminded me that I still hadn't tried the butter chicken wings at The Last Stop. We put on our shoes and went and it the best thing I did this week! The Indo-American fusion of chicken wings with their (INCREDIBLE) butter sauce is an absolute hit. The wings were large, succulent and fried to perfection and I made sure no sauce was left behind. We also got a side of chips and guacamole- a hefty portion and absolutely fresh and delicious. Now I'm looking forward to going back and trying more (butter sauce Mac and cheese...I'm looking at you, kid) For a Friday night, there was a a nice, chill group of diners and drinkers grooving to the dj. The service once walking into the establishment was terrible as no host at the door but the making it worse the bartenders took forever to serve me and my guest. From the moment my guest and I walked in, we were completely ignored. We waited an unreasonably long time without anyone acknowledging us or offering assistance. The service was absolutely terrible. We waited about 15 minutes to even get greeted by our waitress after being seated. The restaurant wasn't busy at all mind you. After we were greeted by our waitress we gave our entire order (cocktails, appetizers and entrees). Our waitress came to check on us about 20 minutes later asking why we haven't received anything, but she only checked on us when she noticed us looking around wondering why we hadn't received anything. The Last Stop is the perfect brunch spot in the Bronx! You can take the train straight to it. The decor is very Alice in Wonderland picturesque with some homage to the Yankees, the subway stop and it's original diner days mixed in. Staff and bartender were super friendly. The food is fire. For $35 you can get pre-fixed and $25 bottomless brunch. They have some Indian persuasion items like butter chicken wings (say less!) and aloo. We both loved the vibe here. It was empty when we arrived (crowded by the time we left) so we sat at the bar and started with drinks from their happy hour menu. We ordered margaritas - I tried the strawberry (too sweet for me) and then switched to the regular with lime which was good. We ordered "The Works" platter which came with four sliders (you can choose either chicken or beef), four shrimp tacos (you get a choice of other meats like beef, chicken, etc), six wings (you get quite a few choices but we ordered Thai) and fries. We didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive nice and hot and everything was delicious. My girl wanted to try this place out from social media. We went on a Friday night, parking was super easy across the street which is a huge plus in nyc. Walking in the place was beautiful. The garlic Parmesan wings and the Korean flavored fried wings (KTOWN). Each wings has the perfect amount of meat so there was plenty to eat. They were both especially tender and cooked! Not a sight of it being spoiled or undercooked! The garlic Parmesan wings... I give it a 3.9 out of 5. Don't get me wrong! I LOVE GARLIC PARMESAN! it's like they were perfect but I wish I at least had some garlic pieces in it. They seemed a bit too salty but definitely packed garlic flavored. The KTOWN wings 4 out of 5. The decor is nice and creates an overall nice vibe. The music was a nice mix of pop, r&b, and hip hop. The music was playing at a moderate volume so we were able to engage in conversations. The gentleman that took care of us was awesome. His name is PD, he was attentive, well informed, and polite. We ordered the appetizer platter and it was yummy. Look at the photos. I came here with a group of three and there was a 90 minute time limit on the tables however it was a slow night and they let us stay. Inside is very lovely nicely decorated. They have a bar inside I went around 6pm on a Friday and they had background music playing. I took advantage of there happy hour before it ended and got a mojito but it was too sweet for me. The beer selection was great. This place is great to come and hang out with friends. For food I tried the Buffalo chicken sandwich it was messy but very flavorful I enjoyed the sandwich. This place is so aesthetic!!!... I cannot believe how beautiful the inside was. When I walked in and saw the beautiful flowers and vines hanging from the ceiling I knew that it was going to be a good vibe. The bartender was so sweet and even though I was only drinking water, she still offered me a sample of a passionfruit mango margarita, which was delicious. *This review is solely for the food/takeout* I've never gone in to this establishment as parking is a nightmare in the area, but the food here is SPOT ON. I've had the souvlaki platter, butter chicken and samosas (may not be on the menu anymore). I always get one or the either because I know it will hit the spot and satisfy my craving. They are open late which is great for me, but sometimes you call to place the order and no one picks up and that is frustrating. I don't order in line because on the couple occasions I've done so, I get there and my order hasn't been sent to the kitchen or whatever and I have to wait around for my food to be prepared, so for that reason I take off a star because it's an inconvenience. I've come by here- and walked away on Taco Tuesday and it gets LOUD and crowded so if that's not your scene I would avoid it on Tuesdays and maybe (?) brunch. But for late night on a weekday? Literally the LAST STOP on the uptown 1 train nice space, offering multiple high tables to enjoy food/drinks. Bar section is spacious enough to hang out there too. Staff was friendly and bartenders worked efficiently to get you all drinks. The night I went most of the tap beers were out though so couldn't indulge in that area too much. DJs usually come on wknd from 10pm until closing which provides a great change of vibe for the late night crowd. Look forward to checking out again when they have seasonal events and such. First and foremost the pancakes bore no resemblance to their only online portrayal. The pancakes were thin and slightly tough to cut, it tasted as if the pancake mix were from a box. However, the Aloo Benny was win , savory and flavorful, aside from the English muffin been tough to cut through. I was in my neighborhood to pick up some carrot cake for the family and since I have the day off tomorrow I decided to get my self some food to take home from another establishment that I have visited before. He ask me table if I wanted a table for one and I could sit anywhere I like. I found a high table in the back for two and decided to sit there. Place seems very familiar, like I've been here before, although I haven't. It just had a good bar/reasurant vibe. Felt like a Cheers kind of place. Where everybody knows your name (lol). Anyway I look up the menu through the QR code, most spots are doing this now. My waitress came and told me about some of the menu options. It was Happy Hour so I decided to order a Mojito with some Fish Tacos, Fried Butter Mac and Cheese (it had chicken in the name, but its a mishap on the menu I was told because it came with no chicken) and Masla waffle fries. Everything was delicious. The star was the Mac and Cheese. It was almost better than my own. The spices were Indian spices and it seems thats the kind of food you get here. Bar bites and meals infused with Indian spices. The hostess was passing by & we asked her about the happy hour menu (happy hour food is included at tables & the bar).
